Run by an idiot manager. If you pay cash and need change, you have to get the change at the office. This is what happened to me. The ticket doesn't tell you where the office is. I called the number on the ticket and the person who picked up (idiot manager) told me no one was in the office and come back another day to get it. I don't live close so I told her I'm not leaving until I get my change of $7. It is not worth wasting gas for me to go home and come back for $7. So she said to go to the office and wait for her. I went there and waited 25 minutes. Meanwhile, my ticket time was still running, putting me at risk of getting a violation. Someone finally comes and says the manager (idiot on phone) isn't there and to come back. I told her that's not possible. The manager finally comes and tells me they can't give me my money now because they don't have the money in the office. She was insistent that I come back another day. This is the same idiot who I talked to on the phone who told me to wait at the office. Here I am 25 minutes into the wait which they told me to do, only to find out the office doesn't have the money there. She was insistent (along with an idiot woman behind me also trying to get change) that they were doing their best. The idiot manager then said I should be thankful they give change because some lots don't give change. EXCUSE ME? So you're saying you can legally STEAL my money and I should be thankful you're giving it back? What kind of bullshit is this? If you were not able to give change that day, then you should post a sign that there's no change available for the day. She said she was doing her best. I said your best sucks, and you're not doing your job correctly. If you don't have to park here, avoid it. Rude, inefficient, idiots run this place.

I hate this parking lot. When the city owned it, it was okay: Sunday free parking, free parking after 10:00, plenty of parking spots, you could do all day parking for $8 dollars, and it was owned by the city. Now that it's privately owned all that is gone. Construction is being done. There are less entrances and exits to the parking lot. There is a police station across the street, and there is the police task force building around the corner, before when the city use to own the parking lot, the police would park in the parking lot, now that it's privately owned, the police have to park in the streets, and they don't parallel park, they park diagonally narrowing down the streets. Factor in that this is the first and last stop of the q28, q16, q13, and that the train is half a block away. People come to pick up their loved ones around here all the time. Factor all these things. The narrowed streets because of construction and forcing the local authorities to use street parking, the lack of entrances, and exits forcing bottle necking, the buses, the trains. This area is a headache and this parking lot is the cause of grief. I was picking up my girlfriend from work, it was 19°, I spent nearly an hour driving ONCE, around this parking lot around 5:30-6:30. I had to call her and tell her to walk to my car while I was stuck behind the q28. I hate this parking lot.

Plenty of parking space in a spot that is hard to find parking. It's also good to know that it's close to everything else. Macy is a block away, Shabu Shabu and all the other good eating is across the street. A block away is Main St for shopping and the best thing is that you can plan your time. On the street you are limited to either one hour or two hours depending on the block which means that you have to run back and forth to feed the meter. Here, you set the time and pay for the time you want. If you want five hours, hit the five and pay for the five and go then come back five hours later. Painless...

the reason why I gave a dislike on this particular parking place is mainly because of the parking meters, and the way they are structured. most of the time the credit card method doesn't work, if you pay cash you better have exact cash, because you will not get a refund, the other night I gave $10 to the machine for a $7 charge and there was no refund, so you're basically on your own, also in certain lanes because of construction you can't make a turn and a turn, you have to actually backup do a u-turn which you can't really do and go back.

  • Chan Bak

One of the few parking spots near the main Street area of the flushing. Parking lot is poorly designed on the first floor, so it has many dead ends where drivers are forced to make k turns to get out. The second floor has more space available but it's not a guarantee. The staff does inform drivers that they are given 5 minutes to look for parking, and if none are found available, the driver may exit the lot without paying anything. This location definitely requires extra time allotment to get in and get out.

  • Lina Hong

I got charged $22 for a lost ticket even though I only parked there for an hour. That is the cost for a 24 hour parking stay. The parking prices have also increased dramatically. This parking lot is extremely greedy and will find every way to charge/fine you. I get that Main Street is packed and parking is hard to find, but to pay $22 when I only parked for an hour is just outrageous. Better off looking for street parking!

  • Richard Lim

This parking lof has been privatized. Soon this whole parking infrastructure will be demolish to build high raisers. As for now. Its great step up. Meter is downstairs and upsgairs is pay when you leave. Starts off as $3 per a hour and tapers up with about 1 buck each additoknal hour. So yes. Cheap place to park. Probkem is the place can be really crowded and parking space for individual cqr is on the smaller size.

  • Ber-nieee

When you are in Flushing near the New World Mall and you can't find parking go to this parking. It's only $2.50 per hour the only thing is you have to wait for someone to leave. But on a good day there is plenty of parking spaces. Only 5 mins walk away from the main street to find everything. You can't missed it because its near the church. For some reason on Father's day when we went the parking was free.

  • Perry Price

They need better lighting and signs that indicate you where you parked. Pull in and find a space. Lock up and remove all valuables out of sight. Go to ticket kiosks and pay for your car, they take credit cards. Make sure you post the ticket on the dash inside your car facing up or they will ticket you. Take pictures of where your car is so you can find it later. Enjoy your day.

  • Frank Miranda

I want to let everyone know that this parking lot used to be good cause it was a quarter per 15 minutes. But now starting in 2014 they are charging 3 bucks an hour and you cannot stay less than an hour. This new fare is stupid and overrated. What was the best cheapest parking lot in queens is now a manhatten wannabe expensive parking. So much for parking near macys.

  • ERNEST SIEW

Is always crowded, is not enough parking place to park. Need to go early in the morning to be able to find parking. The staff are not helpful if you can find anyone. The places are dirty and aren't keep clean. The place is convenient to park in downtown flushing when you need to go shopping and to eat on those restaurant available in flushing.

  • Eric San José

The toughest of all parking lots in all of Flushing Queens. A very small lot in the heart of Flushing. Close to stores, hotels, and restaurants. Credit card machine usually doesn't work. You'd better have exact change to use the money dispenser. Difficult to get in and or of. If you ever very a spot her, you feel like a winner. Good luck.

  • Ricky Long

The bottom level is prepaid, which is fine. Upper level is pay when you leave. The problem is the 2nd level, get PACKED during the weekend. If it’s full, there is a huge line to leave the premises, even if you don’t find a parking space and want to leave, you’ll be waiting to leave since there is only 1 exit.

  • Soo Jung

Parking in Flushing is a nightmare and this parking lot is no exception. There were several times I entered this lot on a weekend (around lunch or dinner time) and had to leave because there were no spaces. Also, this is no longer a municipal parking lot so be prepared to pay more than at a municipal lot.

  • Frank Salinas

Flushing Parking This is the only place you can usually find a parking spot easily that does not cost too much. But be warned it can be a nightmare getting out as there are only 2 exits, both exiting on a street that is a major bus route besides being extremely trafficked in general.

  • chen danny

The pay machines never notice no money return or Must pay exactly amount if pay in cash. I paid 2 hours $4, and I inserted 10 dollars bill, and then machine just printed out a refund receipt to me, and who would give me 6 dollars back? There is no office, and nobody work there...

  • PRAYING NY

NYC taken advantage of parking space in the Oriental community. Enslaving the shoppers like concentration camps. Beware you are not safe to drive and shop. I do not support NYC parking. I will park with the Asians. Pay them is best their prices are reasonable staring at 6.00.

  • Saori Andrea

Parking. Be prepared to fight old Asians for your space you waited patiently for. But only real place to park in the area, so not much of a choice. May be worth paying higher for parking by Ramada hotel nearby. Have gotten side mirrors stolen off my car years ago...

  • Braden Nielson

If you get here anytime before 10am, you should be fine finding a spot. If you get here after, you might have to roam around for a few minutes before you boldly take a spot. Typical Flushing parking, but one of the better spots I feel. $4 for 2 hours, $3 for 1.

  • Alpha K

One of the largest parking lots in flushing. But it could be very crowded during busy hours. The exit is designed in a suboptimal way and you could wait a long time to get out. Their second floor parking acts like a semi valet parking service.

  • Sebastien Shan

Depending on the time you come here, it's a or miss finding a spot. It is probably your best chance of parking if you do visit the restaurants around. Small lot so not a ton of space either for cars. Meter-maids come constantly so watch out!

  • Feng Liu

During weekend, it was pretty packed.. lower and upper level.. good luck getting the spot at the lower level. I usually just drive up to the upper level and park there, because I don't know how long I am gonna be in flushing.. also there

  • Eddie Ooi

Almost every review here is meant for the other expensive parking lot i.e. Flushing Commons Parking Lot by Union St. People mixed up both parking lots. This lot by Prince St. charges $2.50/hour vs the other lot charges $6+$1 fee/hour.

  • readyset

The dude that works the roof parking is a grumpy frumpy. They don't care the place is a temporary parking that is slowly being demolished for flushing commons. This review will be obsolete in 6 years when the place is completely gone.

  • Sean Quraishi

This stupid. . City should not sell their parking lots to private companies like this. . This used to be my best parking look up zone. . Sunday used to be free but not anymore .. it is expensive and controlled by mugs

  • Kenny Tse

Lot had gotten smaller and more expensive over the years with traffic in the area increasing. Be wary of where you park as prices are different and some spots are reserved for police which you will be ticketed for!

  • anna Liendo

It's very hard to find a parking space here , I seen some Asians who keep spots for people, they usually stand in a spot and won't let u park ,it has happened 2 times when you tell them to move they say "no English"

  • Jehuda Ish-Shalom

Great to have but is a BIG mess. Parking on the streets is basically impossible, so this is your only real option. Took 20min to get out due to traffic jams inside and at roads nearby. More exits need to made.

  • Damon Lee

tough place to find a spot but worth looking. You need to allocate additional time to go and wait for a spot. Sucks that soo much of the land was sold off for buildings. Flushing needs more affordable parking!

  • Steven Sisarran

ALWAYS Jam Packed And Folks Blocking The Area Waiting For Parking.... Few Other Places Available In The Area For A Few Bucks More But Worth It....2-3 Hours For Under $10 .........This Location Is $2.50 A Hour

  • David S

Makes parking in flushing so much easier. Prices are reasonable in comparison to NYC garages. The i-beams in the ceiling are covered with mesh so birds don't stoop up there and take a dump all over your car.

  • Min Soo Kim

Main street can be very hectic so looking for street parking is near impossible. Usually end up going here to look for parking. You may have to wait around for a spot to become available but never too long.

  • F Dryer

Always full since the parking lot was reduced in size to allow a building complex to delete parking spaces. This resulted in less parking for an extremely over populated Flushing/Main Street shopping area.

  • Li Song

It's a parking lot with a lot of spaces and reasonable price. However, the traffic around this place is terrible. It is totally normal if it takes half an hour to just get out of there.

  • Damian Shameer

Very small, absolute nightmare on a Saturday night, avoid at all cost. I made the mistake of entering at 7pm and luckily was able to back out else I would have been stuck in this lot.

  • Pt P

Cant find parking space (spent almost 10 minutes )and still charged $3,this place really sucks! Called management office and they were so rude, will definitely dispute credit card!

  • AJ B

No longer muni parking, owned privately. Always crowded, once you get in it's just too hard to get out since lots of traffic in any directions. PS: MTA buses also park/pass by.

  • Yvon (dtm)

Always nearly full, not easy to find a vacant lot. Upper deck parking is slightly more expensive, but way more comfortable considering the open sight and larger lot size.

  • JinWon Simon Chung

Well, worst parking place ever after private company bought it from NYC DOT. Shops around the parking area is getting closed due to lack of good parking space now.

  • Alan Wong

PRO TIP: park upstairs if you plan on staying over 3 hours. There is A better price break for some reason. Plus, you won't have to guys how long you are staying.

  • Hong Chen

It is busy there. Most of time, we can find a parking spots with a couple exceptions. Overall, that is the first choice when we drive to Flushing Chinatown.

  • Di Xu

Always park here when come to flushing. I like the upper level where you don't need to take tickets from meters and estimate how long comes back to your car

  • Christina Devillier

This is a really large parking lot, but even given its size, there are not always free spaces here, especially during rush hours everything is often busy.

  • Winter li

Often in traffic, need a hour to get out the parking lot it self, the design of the parking lot is bad, they should add sign or direction signal in side.

  • yexi Liang

it is good to have such a big parking in flushing, but their price is like a private parking lot. You are right, self parking but private parking price.

  • Jun Lee

Central location, Pretty busy all year round so not recommended unless you have no other choice. Traffic around the lot is horrendous - all year round.

  • Hun Ho Lee

Generally really packed, but reliable. More worth it to park here when you will be parked for more than 2 hours. The first hour is a bit expensive.

  • Dave Hom

Park and Lock youself. Pay at meters Cash/Credit/Coins. Place can be a pain in the rear go get out. Always a traffic jam in front of the exits...

  • Andrew Watson

Needs a traffic light or traffic cop. Took 30 minutes to exit due to poorly designed traffic flow. City & owners really need to rethink this one.

  • aquilino wong

Private parking. Rates are okay. Limited parking as they are closing other municipal parking for profits. Flushing is unbearable for parking

  • B Young

The lighting is poor and the isles are too narrow while the lot is under renovations. I would only park here if there was no where else.

  • Okami Amaterasu

Very congested due to the 3 dead-end rows. It is hard to make a U turn in those without facing another car coming to the same the end.

  • Richard Huang

Getting out of this parking lot takes usually more than an hour. I mean, COME ON. Do you know how to manage this parking lot?

  • Kevin Z.

Depending on time of the day. You could wait up to 30 mints to get a parking spot. Overall it’s convenient to nearby restaurants.

  • Sky Jin

Waited 2 hours for parking spot and ended up leaving still paid like 6 rollers horrible place. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

  • Kyle

Very bad customer service. Their website doesnt even allow you to dispute a wrongful ticket. Give your business somewhere else.

  • Edgar Azarcon

I use this parking on the lower level you can pay by minutes to hours, and on the upper level the maximum is up to 12 dollars.

  • Kevin Tong

no longer managed by DOT, rates got expensive, $3 first hour vs $1 . It is still comparable to private garages in the area.

  • Akshit Ahuja

Nice, Clean and reasonable parking spot in Flushing. Its pretty near to Main Street also and all the bus stops are nearby.

  • Ap Prenant

agree with frank's review. on top, it can be very hard to find parking during peak times. it's a supply-controlled market.

  • Peter Kwon

Got expensive. During busy times, finding parking and trying to exit the parking can sometimes take up to an hour total.

  • David Shyu

Have to fight for spots, no signs or indicators for vacant rows, hard to get out with long lines back to main street

  • Chong Bai

It's difficult to find. Once there the spaces are adequate. In Asian area, conjested traffic. Clean and convenient.

  • IC Chi

Worst parking experience ever, always someone fighting for a spot, always someone arguing. Very negative experience

  • A C

It's generally too cramped to finding parking here, sometimes I would need to sit and wait for 10-15mins for a spot

  • Jerome Peng

Extremely Stupid design. The whole parking lot only has 2 exits. It took me 30 mins trying to get out. Ridiculous.

  • Maria Pet

The traffic is ten minutes to exit, at the least. The drivers are reckless. People are always speeding. Don't come

  • Will Kan

Avoid if possible. I paid a little bit more and park at the underground parking in the Flushing Commons Building.

  • Andy Zou

It's a really big parking lot, depending on the time you arrive and the day you go it might be really crowded.

  • Howard H

Payment machines are not always reliable. It charged my credit card twice. Check your cc statements carefully.

  • W A

Good location. Always packed tho. Was better when it was public and Sundays were free. Not the case anymore

  • Jerry Sitbon

Under construction. Dark in lower level. Pricey for Flushing. Good parking central location to Main street

  • Brandon Cheng

Kind of small currently. Hard to find a parking space. I think they're building a bigger one next to it

  • Medhat ibrahim

Very crowded and u have to be watting until you get parking,, and some time the machine not working,,

  • De Gao

Place always packed but great location if you can find a spot. Usually you can starting at midnight

  • James Wong

Great place to park, pretty cheap. Traffic is insane here, there's really only two entrances.

  • Nam Duong

always packed and has been undergoing construction since 2013 at least. now privately owned

  • Taming Zulu

Definitively need a better park and pay system with tickets. Always running out of paper.

  • N. N.

It was pretty full. I was stuck for 30 mins at least. Go early if you want better chance

  • Ning Ding

It's a death trap from 3-5 pm, will take you 30 mins just to get out of the parking lot.

  • Cal

Good rates. The ground level is hourly whereas the the top level is park now pay later.

  • Yuansun Jiang

Very good rates, these guys do ticket the minute you're over time so be aware of that.

  • Richard Gates

Best location in the center of Flushing but always crowded, and long lines to pay.

  • Sean H

Don't park on the roof. We sat there for 25 minutes trying to get out of the lot.

  • Marcus Chiu

A good place for parking in flushing. Price had been jacking up lately though.

  • Annie Leong

It cost more than SkyView Parking but it's convenient. Check the price chart.

  • Jason C.

The price is reasonable but you always have to wait to find a parking spot.

  • Henry C

Not enough entrance and exit. It could take you 20~30 minutes to get out.

  • Aaron Rape

Good location and plenty of parking spaces. Earns a good grade from me.

  • Douglas Faggiani

watch the signs, din;t trust the meter people.. guided me int a ticket
