We came across this place by surprise, and it was a great experience. The museum was pretty empty for the most part and the gardens were really lovely. There are beautiful mosaics, and traditional Morrocan fabrics and clothes. We went on a weekday and it was not crowded at all, so I’d highly recommend it if you prefer less busy Gardens. المزيد

One of the unknown places in the city. I would recommend it to visit. The architecture, tiles design and atmosphere are relaxing. The inside fountain gave peaceful and idyllic vibe. There is also a bit of history about carpets inside the museum. The entrance fee is not over-priced like Bahia Palace, Saadier Tombs and el-Badi Palace.

Hidden jem!! This museum was such a nice surprise to us. Cheap and very much interesting! There is a lot to see and learn about the rug and the weaving practice of Berber and Moroccans. The building is astonishing and definitely worth a visit. They even let me go in for free because I visited on the international Woman's Day!

Very interesting museum when interested in the culture of carpets in Morocco. Besides the fact that they had beautiful pieces of art and a lot of information it was also really quiet and empty so definetly worth a visit. The price was good as well (30Dh) compared to other museum in Marrakech.

An excellent museum, which most tourists don't seem to visit. It's mainly about rug making but it's well curated and has plenty of information in English. The garden is also lovely would be worth visiting on it's own if you want a smaller, quieter version of the Secret Garden. المزيد

This museum showed how a lot of the carpets are made and a history in the clothes. There is a very beautiful garden in the middle and the architecture of this museum was amazing! Inside there was a video playing showing the process that the women do in order to make these carpets.
