I bought a GPU from them, paid for it, came within 2 days. Began having problems with display. Took it into a third party and they confirmed after testing that the GPU is faulty. I then organised a return with Mwave. I sent it in and it’s been more than a week. I feel like it shouldn’t take more than week to troubleshoot to identify a faulty GPU. Anyway.. Update: I have now been told my GPU is fine and has no problems. Even though it was tested via third party prior to being sent away and they confirmed it has issues. Will we see how this progresses. Update: Have received the GPU back. I am now using the GPU in a completely new Rig / new PC. Worked well for a couple of days. Now randomly displays black screen off and on playing games or completely crashes display driver and disables it? I am able to still hear mates talk on Discord but am unable to interact because PC is not displaying anything, I then must hard reset.. exact same issue, completely different PC. (GPU is fine though right?) Will also randomly turn off for a few seconds every now and again as well. I am also using a different Monitor and cables. even though I had no issue with them with the previous GPU. I am now using my old GPU in my newer PC. No issues whatsoever. Update: I think I’ve figured it out. Apparently this GPU doesn’t like HDMI 2.1 or a DP version any less than 1.4. Super weird. I kept putting in older cords that don’t apparently support 144hz or 165hz even though they should? I’ve adjusted the review but will keep the rest up because I don’t want to seem stubborn and incorrigible.

Pricing mostly competitive however their shipping is slower than opposition and their customer service is over confident and slow. Shipping says 2 - 4 days on website but that is from the time they despatch it not from the time you order it. Add another 2-4 days for their internal order process and despatch. Website shows products are in stock when they are not. Follow up to sales promised that the "unfortunate" out of stock items would be sent in 2 - 4 days but they take 2 - 4 weeks Mwave grew from good pricing and good service. They are now extremely profitable and their service and customer care has become deaf to market feedback. Their frontline staff and delivery process staff are disconnected from the management and what happens on the ground is different to what management perceives is happening The company who I work for doesn't allow us to leave bad reviews in their name so I'm leaving it in my personal capacity and am not the account or customer contact person It is not my job to help you "trace my order" or to fix your slow and rude service - do that yourself. A simple customer care assessment of all shipping lead times will give you your average times, then work to reduce that by 50% so you can compete more effectively with other suppliers like Scorptec, JB Hi-Fi etc. Stop making delivery lead time promises on your website which you cannot meet and start using a better order progress update system

So MWAVE replied to this message as you can see below - and as asked I got in touch with them via email and sent them documentation and I have not heart back. Finally they got in touch, offered a compromise that I am not overly happy with but accepted and it has not been followed through on - so I am still waiting for them to honour their word. This reply below is just for show, they have no interest in doing the right thing. They have given me no choice but to pursue via other channels as a result. Buyer beware, their attempt to assist you are cosmetic only it seems from my experience. Nearly $8000 spend on a custom PC that still does not perform, had had to be sent back several times under warranty and now they have gone silent on me. They have appeared to try and fix the PC and get working, but somehow by the time it leaves them "as working" by the time it gets back to me, it is mysteriously still not working. Hours of time spent trying to get this sorted and days and weeks of inconvenience and now they have gone silent on me. The first custom PC I purchased from them several years ago worked a charm. This one has been a LEMON from the OFF and they will not do anything about it.

I bought a custom PC for work that we needed ASAP and had a lot of help initially and the whole process was done quickly and the PC was built and delivered in less than a fortnight, (this is the only reason there's 2 stars). When I went to install the PC I discovered it didn't have any RAM installed. Rang to ask what happened and was told that it was cancelled off the order and they'll ring me the next day. Received no phone call and at 5pm I had a ticket asking for bank details leaving me with a still non functioning PC, the following fortnight I've rung 5 more times and always been told "someone will call you" to the point that I've had to source the RAM elsewhere and install it myself. Not once have they tried to help me rectify their mistake, never have they explained how the mistake was made, they couldn't even tell me if the operating system was installed onto the PC, I had to figure these things all out myself. In the thirteen years of working in this industry never have I ever faced such a change in attitude from a supplier once they've seen the money paid. I would not recommend mwave to anyone as the absolute lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable.

My experience has been phenomenal. I ordered a PC off mwave as a first-time PC builder, and found their aid in: - part selection and optimisation (they saved me a quick 50 bucks by adjusting my build slightly, and much more than that for having decent prices by Aussie standards through Christmas) - having a great showroom layout for inspiration - quick service times for pick-up - Giving my whole range of options - eg I approached staff for advice on flashing the bios and was ready to pay a fee for that. However, the person I was chatting with told me that my specific motherboard did not require a successful boot to get the updated bios. Despite this losing them a small service fee, it earned them a long term and happy customer - They have a nice app and UI to make sure I can keep track of when my items would arrive - (possibly) speeding up my shipment by a day to make sure I can get my shipment for a birthday! This is a weird request to ask to customer service, and I appreciated that they were delightful and happy to help. I know that the process of getting a new PC is rarely this good. That speaks volumes to the quality of all teams at mwave.

As a long term client that ordered my first pc with them 10 years ago and helped multiple others do the same. I cant say that after my last attempted order that I would recommend them any longer. I decided to split a brand new system up to save on cost between a competitor and Mwave and the difference between the two was staggering. Competitor split and delivered the order on time with arguably larger and more rare parts in 2 days. Competitor communicated and I always knew exactly where and when my order was processed. 3 days after the order Mwave has no update or any idea when the shipment will even be made as the warehouse is still allocating parts. All the parts with Mwave was listed as in stock and available and the order showed as all parts allocated (apart from 2 fan packs) the very next morning. Communication was limited and even responses to my tickets went unanswered or ignored for hours. I had to cancel my order and will be going to other suppliers to complete the process now and for future builds even tho they were my preferred vendor for many years. Guess times change.

Cannot recommend the team at MWave enough. I had significant issues with some of the HW I purchased (DOA + Other issues) which where from manufacturer. My return process and problem diagnosis with the team was nothing short of spectacular. Each time I needed to go back I dealt with a different person, however, each and every one of the team was willing to help with a positive attitude and professional manner. They were collaborative and offered an amazing amount of insight and help to get through the problems I had. If you not only want the best prices available on the best gear, and an incredibly knowledgable and helpful team to help you through in a positive and collaborative way, go no further than the team at MWave. You're in safe hands from questions on your desired build, to an excellent process if things go wrong. Thank you all; you made an extremely frustrating and difficult time so much better for the way you all engaged and helped me through. Cannot express how appreciative I am!

As others have mentioned, Mwave's processing has been disappointing. I ordered an item on a Thursday and on the following Wednesday it had not been shipped yet? So I highly doubt it was going to make it to my address by that Friday before Xmas, so I had to cancel the order which mwave promptly did which means they had no intention in sending it within the time frame. Now I am waiting for my credit card to be refunded which I know can take a few days to clear but my issue is that there is nothing on the order at mwave that says I will be refunded, most places will at least send an email to let you know that a refund is being issued and it can take up to such and such days to clear. Mwave, you have really let customers down, I can order an item from a computer shop in Victoria and get it within 5 working days, and I live in metro Sydney about 20 minutes from Mwave's Lidcombe store.

BE WARNED!! The Warenty/return policy is extremely hostile to consumers! If you happen to have an issue with something you purchased be damn sure that the Mwave team can reproduce it otherwise you will not get it replaced; photos or recordings of the issues are not valid, the Mwave team MUST BE THE ONES to reproduce the issue. Else the following things will happen: 1 - They will state that the issue you have are caused by your own components (even if you prove they are not) 2 - Offer a "Technical Support" service to diagnose the issue. 3 - if a refund of some kind is offered it will ONLY be in the form of Mwave dollars - a time limited currency. Had an issue that took 2 months to resolve when it could have been closed off within 2 weeks. Otherwise Buying, Shipping etc all reasonable good - staff are all very helpful (as much as company polices allow them to be) and polite

Terrible problem solving skills. Ordered a computer, monitor and keyboard, for $5000, that should have taken two days to arrive. Called every day to see when it was dispatching and it didn't dispatch for a week because of the *keyboard*. Turns out they could have shipped my computer and monitor without the keyboard but didn't until the 7th day. Then, the monitor was broken, but now I'm already 5 days behind, so I pay for a SECOND monitor, and they don't ship that with any urgency either. So now I still, 10 days later, and $6000 down, do not have a functional computer system. On an order that was promoted as being 2 days between order and delivery. I needed this quickly for a business and they will never trust my judgement on computer procurement again. (And I still have to deal with the RMA process for the original broken monitor!)

I just want to say thank you very much to Chris for all of his help with my upgrading of my computer more Ram New 3D Card and Power supply. His wealth of knowledge on the products and games was amazing. Such a gentleman he took the time to explain the defences between all the options and costing, gave me peace of mind in making the right purchase. All the guys I spoke to at the counter were also very helpful and friendly most of all patient with me to address all my questions. Fyi the computer I was upgrading was build by Mwave over 5 years ago and has run flawlessly that hole time still dose. But Ark Survival Ascended pushes it to its limits. Very very happy with the years of work it has put in now looking to many more and will go back to these guys for my new computer or accessory's, great store thank you again. Greg B

I am not really impressed. Firs time ordering as their price seemed reasonable... but I'll never buy again. I ordered Thursday morning... it is now Monday night... and I am yet to receive any communication from them. I paid vis PayPal and have not even received an email from them to say that they even received my order. 3 full business days later and still no communication, they have my money but only proof I have is PayPal. I emailed them a day ago, still no response. I tried to use their live chat... absolute waste of time. I don't even know if I am.getting my item... which I did pay extra for express delivery for too. At this point... it seems like a scam and I have no idea if I'll get my money back or the item I ordered. I should have stuck to my local shops here in Brisbane and just paid the extra.

The prices and selection are great but don't let that fool you. Cannot recommend mwave at all. Everything after they've taken your money is absolutely terrible (just look at other reviews to see that this isn't an isolated case). Spent a couple of grand ordering a new pc in July and I was given a turn around of 3-5 days. 2 weeks later I finally received a dead motherboard. I Called them and they said they'd replace it so I drove it straight out there only to be told no, they won't replace it, they need to test it first and they don't actually have any more in stock. They said they'd order one for me that day however they didn't put that order in for another 6 days.... would you believe it's gone significantly over the given turn around of 1-3 days and still nothing?

I have spent many trips here to this shop. One of the best things I like about it is their massive range of products! When you go on their website you get to see the range and it also shows you if it is in stock and/or estimated delivery times. I have yet to use their warranty or return services but I hear they are good. I wish they had a proper showroom as well so customers can see some products in person because with all the 3D renders these days it can be difficult to really judge what a product looks like im real life, especially with aesthetic builds. I also wish they had better on-the-spot sales experience as waiting 45-60mins is really not ideal for any urgent situations.

My mistake I should’ve read the reviews first, I ordered a new pc, monitor and hdd, on the 8th of December with express delivery firstly it was “mistakenly” changed to pick up from the Depot in Sydney I live in regional Western Australia that’s going to be a little difficult. Secondly it didn’t get sent till the 18th it’s now the 22nd, and my tracking says it’s still in Sydney, did you lot even send it express? This was my son’s Christmas present I reckon we’ll be lucky to see it by Easter. Furious is an understatement. Do better Mwave. I want a refund on the express postage I paid for at the very least

Update below.. Potential to be good, but didn't receive the items I ordered, then sent out missing items, and ended up sending the wrong item. Then offered discount to keep an item I didn’t want or would even work for my setup. Then wanted me to arrange postage to send back. Please pick up the item with your courier, please send the correct item purchased out asap. UPDATE To this review. They sent out the correct item after returning the wrong one supplied, they did this quickly which was great. So it started off badly, but they rectifed their wrongs.

I have been waiting for my order since the 4th of December i havent even gotten a tracking code and it and can't even get a response to a question of when my order will be on its way extremely furious and will not be getting anything through you guys again. Also the people that you have answering your calls need to have a better attitude because they shouldn't be the ones with an attitude in this situation especially when someone is spending upwards of $1600 not including shipping that's apparently "express" what a joke.

I purchased a pre-built PC from Mwave, and machine fried within 24 hours of receiving it. Unfortunately there was damage in transit back to them, which MWave state voids the warranty. I requested a partial refund on the damaged components, and was denied. I would expect a company would look to build good will with their customers, but apparently not. Each message to them also takes weeks to be looked at, so this process has stretched out for nearly 3 months now. I would avoid this company at this point.

The best tech in whole NSW may be in entire Australia. Very fast shipping and reliable even my order was delayed but they happily assist me to change other available one with no extra cost .. Big shout @Jeremy for helping me and processing my order fast .. He is a true gem of MWave ... I feel Mwave is the genuine and down to the earth for assisting customer and support .You can find cheaper price online elsewhere but nobody can beat the service, customer service and peace of mind ..

Big thanks to the team at MWAVE for putting together this premium work station. Special thanks to Luke.M for putting together (and making my numerous changes to) a very competitive quote that has resulted in exactly what we required and then some. Very happy with freight, arrived earlier than expected, well and sustainably packaged and was transported via COPE sensitive freight. Would definitely recommend to anyone after a work station and no doubt a gaming rig.

Pickup time was exceptionally fast prices even with black friday were ok.. But My partner came to collect a full build, monitor parts etc so a huge amount of items, they would not allow her to park near the loading bay or any parking spots nearby, and rudely refused any help after she requested some help with a trolley as it was pissing down rain, half my boxes got soaking wet. She had to walk nearly half a KM in the rain. Disgusting service.

Prices are competitive, but similar to one or two other PC parts online and actual stores. Shipping and even processing for collection, however, is significantly slower than every other store I've used. I think it's reasonable that a click and collect purchase should be processed in less than a week. All other PC parts stores I've used process inside 24 hours. The fastest I've experienced with Mwave, for items "in stock", is 4 days.

I ordered the parts to build a pc for a good price. It arrived fairly quickly. when I was building it I had problems with ram not working. I sent the ram they tested that and identified that it was a problem with the cpu or motherboard. I sent those in they found bent motherboard pins fixed that and sent it back fee of charge. Helping me and doing the work free of charge is why I am giving them 5 stars.

Poor customer service. After purchasing a $1000 monitor that turned out to be faulty, they refused to test it as I didn't think to bring a $5 USB A/B cable with me despite the 2 hour return trip. I guess mwave can't afford a spare USB cable to test the products they sell. I was even happy to buy an even better monitor on the spot had they helped me out. This is the end of my journey with mwave.

I've ordered from Mwave a few times, generally they have some of the best prices on gear. In a recent order there was a mixup with a product not due to any error. They would have been within their rights to say "too bad that's life" but they looked after me off their own back. Great service and quick responses to issues raised through the account portal. Absolutely terrible service. Sent me a faulty laptop, then took 2 weeks after returning it "to confirm the fault"... They are going to take 2 weeks to fix it and another week to ship it out again... All I want is my refund to buy a different laptop from a better comapny but they keep denying me a refund. DO NOT SHOP FROM MWAVE.

6-8 Business Days to click and collect items that are in stock...... ?, They were faster to process the cancellation than to just pick 2 products off a shelf........ ? I ordered somewhere else it was cheaper and was ready to collect in 10 minutes, really bad service here. They used to be good but not anymore.

Originally was unhappy with the punctuality and transparency of the delivery; however, they have been great at following up and rectifying. Whilst the customer service is excellent - I still would purchase and perform pick-up to ensure no delays. The delivery method felt super cumbersome.
