"My Local Lunatic is more appropriate"
"Total nutters!! I work in Burnley St and the boss asked me to grab some milk"
"I refuse to believe that the poor reviews were completed by a bunch of virgin mouthbreathers, who don't understand the meaning of 'convenience' or how to park"
"The bad reviews are very confusing! I am here every other day and have nothing but warm welcoming, friendly conversation and the feeling of a local community scarcely found elsewhere"
"‘Friendly’ convenience store is an overstatement of the decade"
My Local Lunatic is more appropriate. Just parked out the front of their front door so my passenger could by cigarettes. Owner or his son came flying out yelling as screaming as i walked away from my car to make a phone call. As i continued to walk away he grabbed me pinching my arm and continued to yell while my passenger stood in the store waiting to purchase. He then refused service, based on the fact we were parked in the carpark. As we got into the car he proceeded to slam his hand down on the bonnet of the car. These people are seriously unhinged They have been given a chance to apologise, but instead hung up. The police station will be the next visit. Lucky the have cc tv
Total nutters!! I work in Burnley St and the boss asked me to grab some milk. Couldn’t believe my luck there was a convenience store two doors away from another shop I had to drop an envelope to. I parked and actually went to run the two doors down when I heard a lady screaming at me. I explained I will be under 1 minute and I am coming straight back to your shop. She then proceeded to jump in front of me and tried to block my path. Then she threatened to key my car! It took MUCH longer to move my car given she was jumping in front of me. There was not another customer in sight and she chased me away!!! They are SERIOUSLY unhinged, enter at your own risk
I refuse to believe that the poor reviews were completed by a bunch of virgin mouthbreathers, who don't understand the meaning of 'convenience' or how to park. I've always had a pleasant experience here, greeted upon entrance and a calm 'Stay cool' at the exit. They even went as far as to give me their personal envelopes (they weren't selling) when I was in the market for one. Even more importantly, they seem to have the best batch of cyclones in Melbourne and are always stocked up when i 'conveniently' want one.
The bad reviews are very confusing! I am here every other day and have nothing but warm welcoming, friendly conversation and the feeling of a local community scarcely found elsewhere. In fact I am on the reviews trying to find the owners name to put in a Christmas card. I think ultimately with the owners of this convenient store much like with others in and around Richmond, they’ll treat you with the same respect you show them.
‘Friendly’ convenience store is an overstatement of the decade. Wouldn’t go there during a pandemic. Really need to relax about the car park - went across the road to get a take away coffee and got yelled at even though I was a paying customer at the store. If you have strict rules about parking - display them clearly.
The shop owners are really friendly and the store's good for quick stops for milk and bread. The only issue is people who aren't customers take all the parking throughout the entire day so if I need to drive in for a quick stop I can't find parking. I don't understand why people are acting so entitled.
feel like im tripping reading reviews about psycho staff, all the staff are nice anytime i've been. especially the lady who works mornings is quite charming + sweet, she always tries to make small talk.
The shop part works fine. Not a pay and display so a bit sad people are ruining their online profile for the sake of being one of the many residents of Burnley who still aren't allowed to park here
Worst service in Melbourne. Expensive prices. The owners were extremely rude. They spend all day telling people off for parking in their car park and not buying anything.
Actually the worst experience, needed to park there for five minutes and the owner came out yelling and screaming at us, was going to be purchasing food there anyway.
It’s basically a service station stop without the petrol. The prices are extremely expensive but I guess thats what you get for a convenience store.
The service in this place is wonderful, the staff are incredible and so welcoming and kind. Great location Reasonably priced …
Very rude, walks around bare foot very unhygienic. Will abuse you if you park near his shop and not purchase anything.
Disappointed at the lack of community spirit. Someone who only cares about money, no compassion.
Horrible experience all around. Poor customer service, rude employees and overpriced
Amazing place!! looks much better with new lights ;)
The owner is violent
