I have nothing but positive things to say about NAPA Dental. I recently switched dental offices due to an insurance change. From X-Rays to cleaning and exam, I have never had a more pleasant dental experience. Dr. Antani was honest, polite and welcoming. It was my first time meeting him and asking him questions felt like I was speaking to an old family friend, who also happens to be a dentist (haha). I never felt rushed or like I was asking silly questions. My hygienist, Marisol, was sweet, friendly and provided great tips on amping up my oral hygiene. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the man who took my X-rays but he was wonderful too; he walked me through the entire process in a calm manner. Although I do not have any dental anxiety, the staff works hard to help those who do by offering support such as noise cancelling headphones and other amenities. Lastly, when I walked into my exam room, there was a personalized welcome message addressed to me which I think adds a lovely touch. It made me feel like I “mattered” and that I was not just “another patient.” 10/10 for the NAPA Dental family.

I've now been to Napa Family Dental a couple of times. I like to have a couple of visits before I write a review now. I can say, without a doubt, that Napa is hands down a great dental office. From the first experience with the ladies in front, they are so nice and welcoming. On my first visit, the dental tech was nice and engaging and took a series of very informative dental x-rays. The other tech (I wish I were better with names) did my cleaning and was thorough and gentle. Dr. Antani was nice and went over my x-rays. On my second visit, I had three cavities taken care of. I wasn't sure what I more impressed with. The lack of pain during the procedure, the flow in which Dr. Antani and his assistant worked together or the speed in which it was done. Honestly, it was the best experience I've had with my teeth. I was dreading the visit due to a previous experience I had with a dentist in Colorado, but I didn't need to worry. If you are looking for a dental office, you won't be disappointed with this one!!

I was recommended to Napa Dental by a coworker as being one of the best dentists they’ve ever been to. It was a bold claim and as it turns out it was the best recommendation ever! Dr. Antani is friendly, knowledgeable, personable, and professional. His techniques and tools are up to date, his bedside manner is courteous and mindful; his dental/office staff have been the absolute best. So far, I believe I am up to 8 visits. I’ve had extensive work done, and all of it they have worked with me every step of the way. In fact, I’ve enjoyed their services so much, I gladly pay out of pocket quarterly cleanings and check-ups (insurance only pays for two a year). Seriously, I cannot say enough good things about this organization. They really do set the gold standard how every practice should strive to be. We are so grateful to have found Dr. Antani & his staff at Napa Family Dental. We were initially impressed with Dr. Antani taking a conservative approach to treatment. He doesn't mess with teeth, old crowns, etc. before it's necessary, & he always thoroughly explains what he's looking at, what his thought process is, & what his recommendations are. Dr. Antani has a calming presence, & his staff members are kind, professional, & knowledgeable. Together, they all contribute to a highly efficient clinic. When I had to have my first procedure at Napa, I let Dr. Antani know I have a history of anxiety about dental work, & Dr. Antani & his staff were very compassionate & ensured I was comfortable. Most recently, my husband had a severe sinus infection & couldn't get help after 2 urgent care visits. Our dentist (of all people) was the one who finally provided him care & relief! We are now loyal patients of Napa & recommend them to anyone who brings up lackluster dental care.

Dr Antani was very informative and sensitive to my apprehensions about the dental office environment. Laticia could teach a master's class in insurance and also took the time to do a detailed search personal to my insurance situation. I was previously shopping dental offices and went to one prominent dental clinic. In that office I was told that they don't preliminarily reveal their rate schedule. I went home and thought about it and decided that this is some game of financial "hide and seek", and if it is; I will not play. I canceled an already scheduled appointment with that office. I think a huge selling point for NAPA is their openness about cost. I, like most when assessing a modern amazing array of dental options want to know, " what the heck its going to cost me out of my pocket". That's not a trick question and don't like trick answers. I am going to tell my friends to consider NAPA family Dentistry!

I just moved here from out of state and I was behind on my cleanings. I needed to wait until my dental insurance took effect before finding a dentist as a person who knows NOBODY in this whole state to get a referral from. Well, I found Napa Dental on my insurance carrier directory and the fact that it is next door to my house sealed the deal. I took a risk picking a dentist off a website and it paid off! I need to preface this by saying I have a pretty traumatic dental history and I'm really afraid of dentist visits in general. From the moment I stepped in to the X ray booth, through my initial polish and flossing, through the great reading of my X rays by the dentist, straight through to the hygienist and out the door after paying - everyone was the perfect amount of gentle with me. I am extremely pleased with my choice of dental office and I will be referring in my husband!

Adding in more, it's been a couple years, and I highly recommend this place. Always a great environment! I've never felt comfortable at the dentist before, but I always do here. :) --------------------------- I saw Dr Antani for an emergency tooth extraction. Him and his team have excellent bedside manner, and were extremely welcoming and comforting. Always making sure you are ok, and not in any pain. I would highly recommend if you are a nervous patient, go here. They will do everything they can to help you feel comfortable. They also take the time to explain everything to you in detail, it isn't rushed like a lot of places. I would also like to add that for COVID they are taking extreme measures to make you safe. I am extremely scared of germs, and I felt safe here. I appreciate the help with my tooth, and will be coming back here in the future!

Excellent people and wonderful experience from the first booking. Dr. Antani and his team (especially my hygienist Marisol, assistant Thomas, and my Xray friend, and the front desk folks) are all amazing. Literally the best dental experience I've ever had, every time I've gone there. They are all extremely friendly, professional, and transparent. All my oral health/financial questions were answered and I felt safe here! Plus the office is super cute and in an ideal location for me, in NE Heights. In addition to the comfort amenities they offer every time, I got a nice carnation to-go at this last visit. If I wasn't moving from ABQ, I'd stay with them forever! Choose the NAPA family (I promise I wasn't compensated for this review with anything but healthy teeth)!!!

I always have a good experience at NAPA. The front desk staff greet me by name when I arrive for my appointment. The dental staff is very friendly, willing to answer any questions, and they offer amenities like bottled water, chapstick, etc. while waiting (although the wait is never very long). They make recommendations, but have never forced me to purchase anything. I also like that they schedule my next appointment right then, so I don't have to remember to call and make an appointment later, although I can always change it if I need to. All services are automatically billed to my insurance, which makes getting in and out super quick and easy. It is a fantastic business that helps out the local community, and I am grateful to have found them.

When I first visited, I enjoyed the new patient tour and really appreciated the comfort menu options during the exam and cleaning. I was very comfortable with my warm blanket. I just had my first follow-up cleaning and received the same warm and friendly service I received on my first visit. I had the same hygienist as before, and she was sweet, gentle, and clearly knowledgable. I also must celebrate that this is the first dental visit in years in which I didn't have a new cavity or need any additional work. Not only did I leave feeling great about that, but I received several complements from the staff on my jacket, which just made the experience just a little more personal and friendly. And of course, I enjoyed the warm blanket again.

Update: Been a few visits now. Every time has been excellent. All the staff are superb. I’m surprised that even after getting my teeth drilled and such that the amount of pain I have had afterwards has been very minimal. They do such a great job here, I can’t recommend them enough. I really enjoyed coming here. The customer service, friendliness, and expertise of everyone was excellent. They went above and beyond to ensure I understood what was going on, to make me comfortable, and to inform me step by step of what was happening and the results. I’ve never seen a dentist that visually takes pictures of the issues before and after to show you the problem has been taken care of. Definitely recommend them!

Went for consultation and was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism, kindness and patience! Office is orderly and inviting. Everyone was very nice and helpful from the front desk ladies, the lady who did my X-rays (dental assistant maybe?) and the dentist himself. The year is about over and it has been a dental year. The team at NAPA is the best of what they do. I completed about six crowns and two dental cleanings. I have a long history of dental issues prior to NAPA. After my dentist retired after being his patient for 40+ yrs I had concern finding another one. NAPA and staff made my dental ordeal pleasant as dental work can be. Dr. explained the procedure prior to starting. Through the time he was concerned about my comfort. I absolutely love ❤️ this dental office because the staff and doctors are so friendly. This is the first time in my life I enjoy going to the dentist office. I was referred by the veterans administration for dental care at Napa Family Dental. Prior to my appointment date they sent me a text to fill out paperwork prior to coming into the office and asked me if I needed anything to make my visit more comfortable. They were very friendly when I entered the office and were very engaged in my treatment. Before the start of the treatment they asked me if I needed anything to make me feel more comfortable such as music, sunglasses to block out bright lights, or even a pillow. In 55 years This is the first time I’m looking forward to going back to the dentist.

I have only been coming a few times and the last few times my experience was not as expected and I was planning on going elsewhere as the care I received was “rushed”. I was in and out in 1/2 hour and didn’t feel like the Hygienist was taking care of me…BUT today I had a wonderful experience with the staff. I felt like I mattered and the Hygienist I had took her time to provide me the best possible experience. She answered my questions that I had and made me feel great when I left. Came in today for my first post pandemic cleaning and it was a lovely experience. Everyone one super nice and detailed. Everyone at every step of the way took their time to walk me through all the steps, all the findings and all the recommendations. It was efficient and detailed without feeling rushed. They were also clear on anything that would be additional above my insurance costs if I chose to do them (like the fluoride varnish) without trying to upsell me on anything ( like the toothbrush's they sell in house). I def would recommend and am looking forward to my return visit.

Across all the states and different dentists I've been to, hands down, this is the best one out there! The doctor and staff were very professional, knowledgeable and made you feel like they truly cared about who you are and your dental needs. Definitely felt comfortable and at home with all the accommodations--like a VIP. This was my new patient visit (3/13/15) and I have already recommended them to others! In addition, I am on a budget and the office was very accommodating and was able to offer me a payment plan that fit my budget. This is THE dentist to go to, just saying! :D

I scheduled joint appointments for both my daughter and I, after passing the office several times. I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful office of care we encountered! Each staff member we encountered treated us like family, went above and beyond to make sure we were cared for. Just got punched in the face at work and NAPA had me in the next day after I called with a shattered filling and had a root canal and a temp crown placed in less then 2 hours. They are fast, efficient and friendly. I've been going to this location for years. They know be by name. They communicate well with you and try to accommodate all your needs and even some extras if you desire; like a blanket if you're chilling or some head phones to drown out the drill. It's not super fancy or well known, but I'd recommend anyone to go there. Great dentists. Great staff. :)

Absolutely love my dentist and all the dental hygienists! Super, super friendly and kind. It's almost always pain free and they seek for you to be most comfortable. Recommend them to anyone! 6/17 Still love our dentist. One of the most kind and welcoming folks I know. They strive to make you comfortable so that you're at ease. They're super knowledgeable and take their time! The only suggestion that I'd make, my 2 year old goes there and expects a balloon, not sure how realistic it is- but that would be real neat!

I’ve been a patient here for about 5 years after not going to the dentist for almost a decade. Dr. Antani and his team have done all of my fillings, my root canal, and my wisdom teeth removal. Even when I moved across town, I still make the drive to this office. I have nothing but great things to say about all of the staff here and will continue to come here for as long as I live in Abq. Being new to the area, I was concerned about finding a good dentist. Fortunately, High Country Dental was recommended and is close to my new home. I was very impressed with the entire office staff and the soothing atmosphere there. All employees are very welcoming and patient centered, and my hygienist, Amanda, was awesome! Dr. Young-Trujillo is very gentle and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone desiring both a great dentist and dental experience.

My husband and I went to this place for the first time. This place was so cozy! The staff are very warm and welcoming and the dentist was very thorough. He took his time and explained every detail. They even have a "comfort menu" which included things like blankets and provide sunglasses during the exam to avoid that awkward staring while people dive into your mouth ☺️ at no additional charge. Overall we were definitely very pleased and would definitely recommend them to others.

This place was awesome. All the staff was super friendly and made you feel important. It was probably the most gentle cleaning I have ever had. Emily was the best! No pain or discomfort. I have such a fear of going to the dentist, however at Napa Family Dental I had such an amazing experience. Everyone was so kind and attentive to me. As soon as I sat in the chair I was offered different items (ie pillow, music, chapstick etc) to help me get more comfortable. The staff is always so kind, and from the front door to any procedure I’m greeted with my name! They always make sure I have topical numbing in my sensitive spots, and took all my dentist fear away. I’ve needed emergency work in the past also, and Dr. Antani is always able to squeeze me in. They have affordable options for folks without insurance also for maintaining dental health. 10/10 would recommend!

Dr. Antani is amazing! The office is clean and welcoming. Upon arrival I was offered refreshments and when I got to the treatment/exam room I was offered a menu that included hot scented towelettes, water, lip balm, and even a pillow and a blanket! Today was my first appointment at NAPA Family Dental. My entire experience was 5 star. The dentist, dental assistants, and the cool hygienist were not only professional, they were down to earth. The procedure was good. I just did not appreciate the incorrect comments from one of the staff to another staff member. She told the second staff member that I did not want fluoride because I wanted to drink my coffee afterwards. That is not what I said. What I stated was that I remember getting fluoride on my last visit because I could not drink my coffee afterwards.

I went for a cleaning with Marisol, I have never had such a gentle cleaning, and this by far is the most thorough cleaning I have ever received. PERIOD!!! GREAT JOB! They supposedly responded to me with options but I never did receive a response VA told me to call them directly to reschedule but they said sorry we can't help you since I failed to respond. Napa is honestly the greatest. I get my teeth cleaned here once every 6 months. They have excellent staff and my teeth have been cared for every step of the way. I’ve had work done and the prices are always reasonable. I love these guys I can’t recommend them enough.
