This particular branch has been a disappointment for so many times. I use to live in Southgate & Naturena. I have also complained several times however no one bothers to improve this shop. On Saturday 24th Feb 2018, I bought a full chicken, rolls, peri wedges, magnum ice cream and lemonade freeze. I asked for the chicken to be cut in 4 and not the 8 tiny, dried out, burnt pieces I got. You talk and it is as if no one is ever listening. I was so disappointed when I got home with this meal, dished out for my family and to find none of us were enjoying the meal. They make it a point that when you order take away you are utterly and always disappointed and yet when you sit (which I've done twice) you get the freshest meal. This proves to me that this shop robs people of their hard earned money and have no shame. I don't know if this is because the area is more of a the Black Community that this has been going on for years since 2012. I am no one who likes to complain but really is this fair?

Having moved to mondeor recently, I naturally started ordering from nandos Southgate and I must say I have never had a pleasant experience with this particular nandos branch. Earlier today I ordered a festive special that comes with a full chicken, salad, 1,5l Coke zero and sides in this case I ordered four rolls, peri wedges salad and extra source. The order arrived on time from Mr D but missing the four rolls and extra sources. Of the staff that di come the chicken was stale and over cooked that it was on the verge of being charred. We ordered mild and instead got hot . We order peri wedges and instead got plain wedges. Upon trying to call nandos the phone just rings or says the number is invalid, Mr D on their part offered us a refund of 50 rands but this nandos experience has literally and physically left me with a bitter taste in my mouth( from the charred chicken) I will still buy nandos as it's my favorite but not from Nandos Southgate

The manager hung up on me when I called to order and collected told me they were busy and hung up on me. I still drove there and stood in the queue with other grumpy customers. Musa, the manager was unapologetic. Nonchalant to say the least. Bad Bad Service. Pity I was starving and they are 1 of the few Nandos that grill my chicken how I want it.

No kids friendly. My 2 year old and other kids were just running around the restaurant as there's nothing to keep them busy there.

They did not have coke in the fridge ,only after i pointed out to them they frantically started filling up the fridge ,this meant that i had to drink warm coke on a hot afternoon . they had alternatives such as Fanta grape etc..

Service is fair, stuff do not wear name tags and I ordered food as a take away and then decided to change to a sit down due to that I was going with a kid who was hungry, having notified the lady at the order issuing section, just left me and continued with her work, leaving me wondering if my order will be change or not. Then after some time I had to ask if its fine for us to sit or she's going to give us feedback. It the same treatment when asking for a take away doggy bag. The first is for ordering and the other is for a clean shop the rest is nonsense service

Ordering online is not always great I guess, it's either they come late(precious orders) or they don't come at all. I ordered at around 17:30 online, estimated delivery time being 18:35. At around 19:15 I tried calling to find out if the order is still on its way or not. But the phone just rings unanswered, the least they can do it's just to communicate if they won't be delivering anymore. Worst service! I've previously lodged a complain about the service at Nando's South Gate but clearly they are not bothered to improve their service.

Placed an online order and the process was swift and efficient. I will recommend this place to anyone who likes to explore chicken meals. Juicy juicy and spicy meals. My online order was processed in time, let me say a bit earlier than I expected, not sure if the same will apply to yours. Well located at the southgate mall, for online orders, you will have the choice of collecting right in the mall or on their other branch opposite Southgate as long as you have notified them your point of collection.

Good eating joint . If you do take away PLEASE check you stuff before leaving the joint . On 3 occasions I've walk away with wrong meal . Yesterday night was the latest. SO CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING. Otherwise it's a great place , kiddies friendly and very chilled place to be .

I enjoyed my first day- but when I went back for the second time I experienced the worst service ever. I had to attend work meetings while I was there and the music was sooooo loud, I'm sure they even thought I was at some party. I don't mind music in restaurants, but be considerate- not everyone is a fan of loud music.

The people here steal guys,Everytime when I order nandos meal with a drink they never deliver my drink,I’ve never received my order with a cold drink,I always have to drive to them to collect it .The staff here isn’t loyal at all and they don’t take their job serious,The manager needs to talk to his/her staff .People will end up not coming to the restaurant because of the poor service.

Great service from MPUMELELO. I hope the mngr will give him credit where it's due to encourage him to keep the excellent service he gave me and my family. I saw other waiters but they would dissappear, he was the most present, attending to everyone that called him with a huge smile, and amazing patience. Your other waiters could learn from him, starting by being visible.

Very terrible service . Dirty plates everywhere. Waited for an hour for food very slow and when the food came it was cold. Went to ask after my order she kept saying it's coming . Shocking, terrible service from nandos value Mart. Ordered online. Got an sms stating that the delivery will be estimated at 19h55. After following up with the call Centre and the store twice. 2 people from the store said they would call me after checking ong with the driver. No feedback calls. the food was eventually delivery 2 hours later.

This Nandos has space even when busy. The staff is attentive and the orders are quick to come out. Standing in a que is no big dea l because service is fast. I loved the floor plan and the exquisite design. Very comfortable sitting and the music is not too loud that one cannot hear each others conversation.

The food was bad I ended up not finishing my food, the chicken was not well cooked, it was as if it was half boiled not even grilled, the rolls where very stale . regret going there just wasted my money

On Sunday 2 May we bought a Nandos meal (Full chicken with four sides). I am very dissapointed with the meal, considering we buy Nandos every week. The chips were soggy and cold. The chicken was burnt, dry, lacked seasoning and the portions were small. This has literally left a bad taste in my mouth.

Enjoyed my lunch here. The food is always fresh. The orders didn't take long to arrive. The waiters are always visible and ready to serve. The staff is friendly. This restaurant is clean and warm. The environment is fresh and the restrooms are clean.
