First referred to Dr Delaney on 9th December '21 for extreme pain in right leg. He ordered X-rays, bone scan, MRI, etc. then referred me to Dr. Nicholas Llittle for Laminectomy operation on my back, which was unsuccessful and cost me almost $20,000. I may have had multiple back problems but they operated on the wrong one. More recent scans on my leg viewed via my physio (because no contact from Dr.Delaney) showed no problems. My physio took about 15 minutes to diagnose the area of my back which was causing my pain. It has taken two specialists more than six months to wrongly diagnose what a physio could correctly diagnose in 15 minutes.
I’ve been attending appointments since mid-2020 for complex issues. Dr Delaney is incredibly thorough and makes me feel heard and understood. I cannot recommend enough. Sometimes the appointments aren’t on time, but I appreciate I am not the only patient with complex needs. Despite appointments not always being on time, I have never felt rushed out the door to make up for the delay. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend enough.
Great practitioners but the review is lowered by the consistently very late appointments. I often wait for close to an hour. Bring a book, and expect to wait. It would make a lot more sense for them to simply allow more time for each appointment rather than booking people in that have to wait. I wish I didn't use this place except for the help I am getting for my feet. Receptionist staff are not the friendliest.
