Car was good. We rented for a week to travel on vacation. I ended-up having emergency surgery. I called the morning that it was due back and explained my situation that I was waiting for someone to help me return it but it might be the afternoon. I was told that $19 would be added for the extra day. I questioned the total amount and was reminded that I had signed-up for satellite radio for the week (a GREAT thing to offer.) I said, please discontinue that for the extra day since the vehicle is sitting in my driveway and will only be driven to the airport when someone arrives to help me. When I arrived to return (basically four hours after the original return time) I was changed an additional $31.32 for the day, plus an additional $5.99 for the extra day of satellite radio. I was also charged the extra day concession fee of $4.50 but I understand that is non-negotiable as it goes to our taxing authority. I questioned the person at check-in and was advised to walk to the main airport rental counter (a long way due to current construction.) With 20 exterior staples and over 80 interior stitches I simply could not do that so I gave up. I also didn't add that we only had a few small cars or large trucks to choose from. We waited almost 45 minutes for a smaller SUV because neither of the style of vehicles available would fit our vacation needs. We showed great patience and understanding during the rental only to have National not reciprocate on the return. Now I receive a request to write a review. Probably not the best person to be asking to perform this task because I truly feel that National failed me, an Emerald Club member.

I went to counter for help a woman in a white shirt and long brown hair I asked for help was extremely rude and would not even help me or try to help me find a solution, meanwhile they are using two vans Chrysler one and another dodge one to shuttle their employees around the lot to and from to drive vehicles over and drive them back I asked if they could use a sedan and let my family use the van and. One would help! Another Indian gentleman looked like a manager told me they can’t get enough vehicles due to Covid still so that is my problem now also! This has ruined the start of my trip and most of all the treatment and unwillingness to help even after I explained our situation last year and I still came back to use National after the bad experience, my mistake!! My husband has been a emerald member for years and this is how we were treated amd the situation was not even tried to be remedied everyone just kept walking away with the attitude oh well!! Thanks National good to know this wasn’t a one time issue, this clearly is how you treat the customers!!

I have been a loyal national customer for the last couple years; always having a very positive experience and often referring the emerald club to friends, family and business colleagues. Unfortunately, my most recent experience fell far below my expectations. On May 29th, I picked up a rental at Nashville airport. Almost immediately after leaving the rental site, both the tire pressure indicator light and the indicator for low washer fluid appeared. On May 31st, the rear passenger tire was completely flat. I contacted roadside assistance and Enterprise. I was told to take the car to Firestone to repair the tire. After waiting an hour and a half for the tire repair, the gentleman at Firestone informed me that Enterprise would not let the vehicle leave without performing an oil change. I waited another 45 minutes for the oil change. Clearly, this car was in no condition to be placed on the lot for a customer to rent. As a customer of National, I place my trust in this company to provide me and my family with a safe, well-maintained car; that clearly did not happen in this case. I sincerely hope that the company will take time to look at the chain of custody of this vehicle and ascertain which employee decided to overlook both warning signals and routine maintenance. Renting improperly maintained vehicles is an enormous liability and I am deeply disappointed that National and Enterprise would allow such a vehicle to be offered to a customer. I submitted this complaint through the National website one week ago and have yet to get a response. I am sincerely disappointed in this company.

Just a short note to let you know one of your car return associates was extremely rude and difficult to understand why he was accusing me of not parking the car in what he said was the wrong location. There was no one guiding the returns so I selected a lane. He then proceeded to accuse me of calling him a liar which again I didn't understand why. When myself or anyone else for that matter rents a car I expect to have a good experience. Pick up a car, use the car, drop the car off, simple. This was far from it and very disturbing. Sorry for the negative feedback. I love National and the Nashville location however lately it has not been so great. I agree with the below review posted 2 months ago. The last few times I have had to wait quite some time to get a car and being an Emerald Executive member doesn't seem to make a difference at this facility. Just saying.... 2 months ago- There were no cars available when I got to the garage. I had to stand in line and wait for cars to be returned before I could get one. I was almost late to my meeting because of this. The staff wasn't apologetic or friendly about the matter and acted like it wasn't a big deal that they didn't have cars waiting. This was my first ever experience like this. One of the reasons I rent from National is to pick out my car. I had to take what I was given. Fortunately it was a nice car and one I would have chosen.

Unfortunately, my most recent rental experience with National at the Nashville Airport was not smooth at all. Arrived on Tuesday evening at what was a normal arrival time (not late in the evening). Walked to the National section of the rental car garage to discover they had NO available vehicles. The on-site customer service agent had all customers line up and take the next car that rolled into the lot. Waited 20 minutes to get a vehicle and then dealt with a long wait to check-out as only one check-out gate was open. The vehicle I had to take was a low end mini-van (the last vehicle I would have chosen). The guy behind me took a Cadillac and the renter in front of me drove off in an Infinity QX80. No consideration to Emerald Club status at all...just take what shows up and drive off. Returned my rental on Thursday late afternoon after filling up the gas tank less than 5 miles from the airport. Arrived to a back-up of 8 cars waiting to get into the return lane. Finally was able to drive into the return lane. Left the vehicle in the lane without collecting paper receipt as I receive email invoices. When I checked my invoice, the check-in agent decided to charge me for a full tank of gas to the tune of $51. Had to call National customer service to have the charge refunded. Overall, very displeased with how poorly this entire rental experience went. Completely atypical for National.

The National Car Rental Located in Nashville, Tn. Airport was crazy, because they really didn't have any cars or SUV to choose from. I did finally found one SUV, now it is time to leave and check the vehicle out at the National Car Rental check out Desk. I was ask if I wanted my rental contract sent to my Email address on file. I said Yes. Sure, that would be great. The lady said, My rental contract has been sent to my email address on file. I said Okay, Thank You and went on my way. When I got home I checked my email address and I never did receive my rental contract. I called twice and both times someone said they emailed the Nashville Location and the Nashville Location will contact and send me a rental contract. I called Customer service, that same day I pickup the vehicle One of the Agent stated you don't need a rental contract. I said yes I do, what if i get pulled over by the police. What should do, if I don't have a rental contract. She said just tell them I was renting a car with National car and that should work. I said, that will not work I need a rental contract just incase something happen. The Nashville location never did send me anything or called me. Ladies and Gentlemen please remember to have the National car rental Agent print you out a copy of your rental contract before leaving the check out desk. Thank You!

This is SPECIFICALLY regarding the RDU location! My flight to Nashville got cancelled and I was unable to take advantage of the only available flight, so, I had no choice but to rent a car. Mind you, I HAD a reservation already in place at Nashville for this day..BUT, they refused to amend my current reservation and just start me in Raleigh instead of Nashville...I would have gladly paid any additional fees. SO, 212$ later, I had a car, (this lazy bunch also made me call the 800 number and make this new reservation for ONE DAY, and AFTER I drove to Nashville, I had to turn in THIS car and pick up my original vehicle...PLUS pay for the taxes, etc there (ANOTHER 192$)!!! Ok,you would THINK that a worldwide company would have the capability to make that simple adjustment for the customer! I did call and complain, and the lady said that the rdu people had not done something correctly and reimbursed me 85$...I guess that's better than nothing! **update** I sent an email to their response to this review last week and I have YET to get a reply to the email. I will be contacting Enterprise, since they are the parent company!

Definitely the best top to bottom National Car Rental experience I have had. As an Executive Emerald Aisle Member, I love being able to walk right up to a car of my choice, hop in and drive off. However, when I arrived in Nashville, there were only 8 or 9 vehicles on the aisle, three of which were being taken by other parties. I think it has to do with late at night arrivals. I always arrive at 9pm or later, so the crew working at the time of night, may be smaller and not have time to bring more cars around to the Isle. Hopping in the most appealing of the 5 or 6 left, I drove off. The clerk at the booth was a delight to talk to as she processed my paperwork and sent me on my way. However, when I was driving the vehicle for the two weeks I had it, I noticed the transmission was slipping, and the tires were bald. I decided to look at the mileage on the odometer, and it was over 31,000 miles. National, you are holding onto those vehicles for too long, if your customers are driving on US Baldies! Other than that, it was a great experience.

The National 1(800) Reservations Team is great. It is quicker in most cases for me to call the (800) number to reserve a car. Those folks on the phone are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I appreciate that they are local and NOT overseas......so THANK YOU, National.... The Nashville Team is also great..... They are equally "in the know".... The difference for me is that they understand how to use all systems efficiently so if there is a challenge, they are ON IT. Additionally, they always seem to be "ON IT" by personal choice....that is nice. Nothing worse than someone who you can tell, would rather be elsewhere..... Last....I appreciate the variety of cars. I have rented a few foreign cars, and have had a pleasant experience. However....I have to say....the Taurus....The F150.....The Fusion....they are THE BOMB to travel in.....Thank you for having quality cars available for rent.... The facility is very nice and clean. I travel to the Nashville area frequently for work and the car selection is hit or miss, sometimes there is a wide arrange of vehicles to choose from and other times there may be only one or two cars depending on arrival day and time. The only issue I have as an executive member I have found there is no difference in vehicle type or amenities for being a frequent renter, many times I end up with a bare basic vehicle (no blue tooth, Sirius radio, etc) that appears to be the same selection in the emerald aisle, so not sure why they separate aisles as such. I do appreciate the choose your own car process and as a emerald club member I do not have to stop at a desk or check in. The check-out process is easy, just hand the attendant the tag and your license and off you go. Check-in process is just a matter pulling in and waiting for an attendant to scan and review the car and a receipt is printed out for you.

11-months later and they’re still opening all the trunks on the Executive Aisle. It’s extremely annoying. ===Previous Post === This location is really disappointing. It’s a long walk from the terminal. Then when you get to Emerald Aisle all of the trunks are open. This is such a pain in the buns as you can’t see what cars to choose. The make or model are usually stamped on the back. National’s car choice is the best thing going. It’s just hindered by stations like this that make choosing a car a pain. Especially when car selection here is so slim and they don’t put their best quality cars on the Emerald Aisle. Notice an unusually high amount of incredible reviews? They email customers begging for Google reviews post rental. They don’t need my name or rental agreement number to fix these issues...all they need to do is tell the vehicle porters to close every trunk, and bring higher quality cars to the Aisle.

First of all getting to the car rental place in Nashville was a joke because of the construction. We finally followed the signs to the counter and no one was there but another sign telling us to go to the garage and pick the car up there. Finally after walking with all of our luggage we made it to the garage where again there was no one there at the counter and was told to go to the enterprise line. Well if I wanted to go through them I would have booked with them. I was not happy with the car a Chevy Malibu that bucked every time you stepped on the gas. I told them when I dropped it off but they didn’t care. I went with National because my company is affiliated with them as with Enterprise . Very bad first experience and I’m in your “Emerald Club” sorry to write such a bad review but maybe someone will look at this and fix the problem for the next guy!

I am an Emerald Member and have been renting vehicles from National for the past 3 years. One day the manager at Hertz was very rude to me so i walked next door and began using National. The National front desk lady (at the time),Carla, took great care of me and i have kept a rental vehicle from National since. I always have tried to turn the vehicles in once they reach 20K miles (I take them to Firestones every time the oil needs changing since i stay 40 miles away from the Nashville Airport) and i take exceptionally great care of the vehicle. The other day i took my vehicle back, after National called and asked me to so they could sell the vehicle, and i ran into the general manager. He was quick and prompt to get me another vehicle and got me out of there very quickly. I am still a proud customer of National Car Rental.

After being Emerald Executive (?) member for two years, I was finally excited to pick up a car from a location that has the isle to choose from. Except that when I arrived, it was mostly empty with just a half dozen of minivans there and nothing else. Well, also about a dozen other members scratching their had trying to figure out what's going on and one employee frantically taking peoples names down and promising that the cars are under way. Finally, after 15 minutes of chaos, the cars and trucks (and more minivans!) started to arrive and I was able to grab something that wasn't as much of a fuel hog. But since about three dozen people were jumping into their cars by that point, it created another chaos and another 10 minute wait at the exit booth. Great experience! Not...

Just back from a quick trip to the US (end of April'16). No other car rental- Budget/AVIS/Hertz at Nashville would allow me to rent a car without a credit card. But the folks at Nashville,TN were so accommodating and just asked us for our Travel itenary and allowed us to use a Prepaid credit card ( which no body else accepts). We even got to choose the car we wanted any thing from a Sedan to a 4x4 -Traverse-Chevy- All New car 2016 with less than 5000 miles in great condition. I had it for a whole week and enjoyed it thoroughly. Thank you National !.... for being so flexible and recognizing genuine customers, when no body else did. You were really a blessing/ God sent for us. I will definitely go with you next time around.

I've never used National before but my company recently made them our preferred car rental company. I've been loyal to Hertz and still think highly of them but was pleasantly surprised by National. There was a wait getting checked out (I signed up to become a member so i picked a car and went to the gate to checkout), but the guy at the gate immediately apologized for the wait and offered me a free fill-up which was a pleasant surprise. My company pays for the gas anyways, but still it was a very nice gesture. And i was very pleasantly surprised to be able to pick my car out of a wide variety of selections. I will definitely use them again and again on my business trips if it continues to be like this experience.

I was encouraged to join the Emerald Club a couple of years ago, and it's really amazing. I walked from baggage claim directly to my car, which had the keys waiting in it. I actually had my choice of several cars, so I could inspect each one and choose the model, color, features, etc. that I wanted. This was without waiting in line or otherwise checking with the Nashville staff. Then as I drove out of the lot, I passed the checkpoint, handed over my driver's license and was asked to choose the gas option (return full or empty, etc.). Then off I went. Since my flight landed a bit early, I was actually on the highway before my scheduled arrival time. I love National car rental, and the Nashville airport branch.

This was not the rental experience I expected from National and the Emerald Aisle. When I arrived at the car garage, I was shocked at how empty it was and just how few choices there actually were, especially in the Emerald Aisle. The car I was left with was not consistent with the quality of vehicles I've experienced with National/Emerald Aisle to date. Besides being a "non-executive level" car in my view, the cleanliness of the car left a lot to be desired. The experience of picking the vehicle up and dropping it off was easy and consistent with my experiences so far. Overall, I was not pleased with the vehicle, but would be willing to rent through this National again to give it another chance.

I have zero complaints about rental from National. I don't think car rental gets much better. I showed up and just walked right up to a nearly new Camry, hopped in and pulled out. On the way out I wanted to add my husband as a driver and the man took car of that very quickly and sent me on my way. No waiting and very cozy car. The drop off took less than sixty seconds. It was very busy, but I pulled up, an employee came right up and scanned the car, printed a receipt off of a mobile unit on his belt and I was done. Seriously doesn't get easier. For the price and the simplicity, I'm actually considering renting for most of the trips that I used to take my own car on. Thank you National.

Of all the rental companies, National is the best. Customer service is 5. Convenience is 5. Cleanliness is 5. Selection of cars is 3. Age of cars is 4. I gave selection a 3 because I usually only see mid-size SUV's and mini-vans in the Executive section at the airport. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the types of cars in the emerald club or executive section. I gave a 4 for age of cars because most of the cars I get have less than 10,000 miles on them. I have had a few with over 10,000 miles. While most are still in good shape, some have had issues with tires or mechanical wear. Overall, National is still the best and I will continue to rent from them.

I am an Emerald Club member and love how easy it is to avoid the counter and pick any vehicle you want in the Emerald aisle. I have rented many times with no issues, however the last time I was traveling with my family and we picked a car, drove to the check out gate and noticed a "low tire pressure" warning light on the dashboard. I informed the attendant who let us back up and pick another vehicle which was good but we didn't like the alternate vehicle as much. Also, when I informed the attendant he looked at the warning light on the dashboard, looked down at the tires and said "they don't look low to him". Not the response I was expecting!

Honestly a pretty good experience from start to finish renting a car here. It was very easy to get a car here. Simply walk out to the baggage claim area, follow signs to the rental car center, and then go to the car. If you have status with National as Executive or Executive Elite, choose any of the full-size cars in the executive aisles. Return is also super fast and efficient. Only thing I wish is that they had better selection of higher class cars available in the executive aisle. Many other airports of this caliber have nicer cars like Audi‘s, Alpha Romeos, and convertibles. Would be nice to get a few of those here!

Had to walk about a mile from baggage claim to get to the lot which had 5 vehicles to choose from. I'm executive elite and I spend about 250 days a year, or more, in rental cars. It would sure be nice to drive a decent car. Budget car rental has top of the line vehicles for rent. I'm seriously considering switching. This issue is increasingly occurring. I've been all over the country to find rude customer service people who take it personally when I ask if there's anything else to drive, I get the comment... I'm a nasty tone... "Well what do you want to drive?" "Well, not a base model dodge journey or a base dodge ram!"

I am a veteran trying to get to Florida for a reunion and national just completely ruined that trip. After 8 years of being a loyal customer, I have never experienced a worse customer service. After waiting for 45 minutes for a vehicle i was Denied my rental due to no credit card. Debit cards are only accepted with a airline ticket and I was punished for being from Nashville. Completely screwed up our entire trip. I was informed through customer service that I could rent from another location, but that’s the only location in Nashville. That makes perfect sense. Never renting from national again!

Other than the fact that I had to wait almost an hour in line with only three people in front of me, it was a good experience. Apparently, Hertz is doing the service for all rental car companies, and it's putting a burden on one little building with only two counter agents that were servicing everyone. The Nissan Altima only had 700 miles on it, so that was nice. It was a really nice car and it was easy and quick to return. I only wish picking it up was easier. Had it not been for the long wait to pick it up, I would have given it 5 stars.

When I arrived at Nashville location there were no cars. Others and I queued up and eventually a car came. As I checked out I asked if this was typical and she explained that it was her first day back from furlough and she said they they had underestimated the volume and there were not enough folks working to process the cars. I know that you know how many reservations you have for any given day so i find this a poor excuse. No what I am accustomed to. That said the staff was pleasant gentleman at the desk was a bit harried but pleasant.

I'm an emerald member and this time I forgot that my work rented the car for me and I didn't tell anyone. No worry, when I arrived at the airport, my license was already registered and I was free to by pass lines, go pick my car and get moving. We drove a beautiful Chrysler with leather seats, navigation, sun roof and optional satellite radio. It was great and the National representatives were so friendly and helpful. Although the pick up process was easy there were very few cars available. The vehicle I received was clean but had a strong smell and quickly after leaving the airport I realized it was to cover the smell from the previous customer smoking in the vehicle. I had to drive with the windows down the entire time. Later I also noticed the car tags were expired and contacted customer service about both things. I was told not to worry about the tags and they would note the issue about the smell. Not a great experience.

I travel quite a bit with my job and have tried a number of different rental agency but National is the best I've found. It is totally worth it to sign up for the Emerald Club, avoiding the lines and just picking your own car out of the lot. The employees are courteous and efficient, not pushing their extras when you're leaving and conscientious of your schedule when dropping off. I've never had a bad encounter on the very rare occasion that I've had to interact with others. A very professional establishment!

Great experience, super easy to locate and gain access to the vehicles. I love my emerald rewards that allows me to pick from a large variety of all vehicles all for the same cost, and all the vehicles are clean, serviced and fueled ready to go. This all is very important to us frequent flyers who have extensive travel leading to long days in airports and traveling around to be able to get to a vehicle quickly, easily, and know that it will be a good experience so that we can get to our hotels without delays,

As a business traveler, using the Emerald Isle is extremely convenient. The addition of being able to pick your car and being charged the cost of an intermediate size is a value that is rarely seen. The rental was clean and in excellent condition. The check out/in process is quick and efficient with automatic email of receipt. National also provides exceptional services to those who fly civilian/private and require cars at FBOs. National is my new "go to" for car rentals when needed.

Absolutely Terrible Service. Rented a car at 6pm by 8am the tire was flat. Called to have fixed, showed up 3 hours later. After 13 hours was still not fixed. NOT able to use car an entire day. Several calls to their roadside assistance which never resolved anything. They even hung up on me twice "trying to get information" but never called me back but they verified my number when I called. Tried to call the actual location but never could reach anyone. I will not use National again!

My car rental experience was one of the easiest and smoothest things I've ever done! With my Emerald Aisle status, I had an abundance of vehicles to choose from. Sedans, mid-size and smaller SUV's, pick-up trucks, minivans, and even a Jeep! The minivan we selected was perfect for our trip! It was impeccably clean, and we didn't have any mechanical issues with it! The National Car Rental staff were helpful and friendly. We will definitely rent from National again!!

Excellent service from pickup to return. I was greeted cheerfully at the desk in airport terminal. As I approached the car pick up area the attendant did not wait for me to get to the kiosk but jumped up to meet me and walked me to the available cars where I was given a wide selection to choose from. The return was easy. Pull in, park in one of the lines, get the car scanned in, and off you go. I will definitely consider National Car Rental in the future.

We had the best experience with National car rental! A small group of us girls went to Nashville for a girls trip and had a blast. We were greeted with a very friendly employee at the Emerald check-in station outside the airport. No waiting in lines!! She promptly escorted us to our car choices, but was very receptive when we expressed interested in a white BMW convertible. She immediately met our needs and we were off exploring Nashville in no time!

National Car Rentals is always easy to work with. Pick up and drop off are both always super quick and my bill is always accurate. Their app is easy to use and if modifications to your reservation are needed the app accommodates almost all you could ask for. I did have an issue with the satellite radio last rental that never did get resolved and I was still charged for it which is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars, but otherwise no complaints.

My experiences with national have all been great. Six month of being and Emerald member, 6 months of dedicated use of their fleet, other than in areas not served, and not a complaint. Walking from a terminal straight to the car of my choosing is such a plus. No lines at counters, no waiting in the parking garage, just pick a car and go! Very nice. I just will that all locations had fuelling stations closer but that's not an issue with National.

Usually National is great. Unfortunately, the return at Nashville airport was terrible. The attendant was rude, disorganized, and very inefficient. He was yelling at the patrons returning cars. Many of them just left their cars rather than be further insulted by the attendant. Getting a printed receipt was also a major ordeal. Like I said, National is usually a pleasant experience. Not this time. I will have to consider alternative next time.

I am an Emerald Aisle Member with National. I, mostly, use National when I travel out of town. This was my first time to rent a car in Nashville. All staff members that I encountered were very pleasant and helpful. I prefer a car with multiple settings for the driver's seat that adjust to my comfort. The 2016 Chevrolet Malibu was prefect. My selection still had the new car smell with under 600 miles and that is always an added bonus for me!

First, I must say I enjoy the flexibility and freedom of choice I have when using National rental car. They have a great selection of vehicles and their process for emerald club members makes car renting that much easier. The new car rental facility at the Tampa Airport is still working out it’s kinks and it’s a massive facility to maneuver through. However , don’t let that distract you it still a smooth process for emerald club members.

Being an Emerald Club member makes renting from National such a great experience. I love being able to pick my car based on my needs but at the mid size rate. It is always a great selection to pick from and the employees are very courteous as well. The only reason I could not give 5 stars is that the past 2 rentals I have received I experienced minor issues but they were handled promptly each time. I will continue to rent from National.

After reserving a car at another rental agency at the airport and finding they did not have a car ready for me, the folks at National were able to get me in a car and on my way within 10 minutes. They were friendly, courteous, and very helpful. It allowed me to make a critical meeting on time. The car was clean and well maintained, and National is on the first level of the parking garage. I will use National first next time!

I always have a great experience with National and this time was even more special. I used a free rental and was told to pick whatever I want from the lot. I picked an Amazing Audi A3 which I would never be able to afford (remember it was FREE!) When checking out at the drive through the attendant added, bring it back on empty, your gas is on me. The BEST crew! Lost and found was great. I was having struggles getting from CLT to BNA. Delayed flights. I picked a car, but at checkout, found the car was scheduled for warranty work. Very nicely told to park this one and pick another. No problem, plenty to pick from. But I left my cellphone in the car that was never assigned to me. Brandon took time to help me look, but no luck. Today, got email that it was found.

My rental in Nashville was my second use of National Car Rental as my rental car provider. The experience was pleasant enough, mostly on the return. There was no special effort by either of the employees that I encountered on the front end. I was disappointed in the car that I chose but pleased with the company itself. It's a learning curve for me right now to choose the best available car.

The seemed to share a fleet of cars with Enterprise but just charge a few dollars more for the honor of renting from the "premium" brand. I also had to wait for almost 20 minutes for the vehicle I had reserved.

My company switched to National and I just had my first experience walking down the Emerald Aisle on my recent trip to Nashville. What a great experience! It was great to select the car I wanted from the row! I chose the 2016 Fiat 500X since I normally drive a small SUV at home and it was terrific. The return process was also stress free and super convenient! Happy we switched!!

Beginning of the rental process was great! Returning the rental was horrible. No one to assist with return. Ended up being charged for 3 extra days plus fuel even though we returned the vehicle early. Called customer service twice to resolve the issue but got zero help. Worst rental experience ever! Not the norm for National. Definitely would chose another provider in Nashville.

My experience was great. We rented the car in Nashville and took the long way back home to Tampa Fl. Car millage was excellent. The people at National were very pleasant and professional. This was my first time renting from National and will not be my last. Only disappointing event that happened.was when we took the car it had satellite radio. two days later it stopped working.

Great Experience in Nashville Airport with National. This was my first time renting from National and I didn't have their Emerald Club card. Requested the application when I went to pick up the car. You can't bear National Emerald Club... the Nashville rental car area of the terminal is brand new and still some finishing touches being done. Very nice. No tram, its on the terminal grounds so a quick walk and you're in the car lane. As Usual great service.. get the car you want, drive out , pay, add or subtract some options, and you're off. 5 min max.. Great Job!!

Always friendly and accommodating staff At National. Cars are new, clean and good condition however during this unprecedented times there has not been much of a selection for Executive Elite. I’m not sure what the reason is. Maybe more people are renting than are traveling. Anyway I drive National cars exclusively (142 days out of 162 days) so you am a National guy.

Very good experience. Car was very clean and smelled disinfected. Location was a little tricky finding the exit even with the many signs, maybe adding arrows and exit painted on the ground might help. Car return was easy and quick. Maps brought me right where I needed to be even with a fair amount of construction that is going on at the Nashville Airport.

I am an Executive Emerald Club member and on my recent rental in Nashville, there was only 2 cars to choose from and the service agent was unapologetic in saying they were out of cars. Upon return I had to wait 4 minutes for the employees to stop talking and come over and check me in. One more experience like this and I am changing rental car agencies.

If you sign up to be a member online (it’s free) you can just walk up to a car and the keys are in it and ready to go. Return is just as painless - pull up the car, leave it in the garage with the keys, and head into the airport. The Nissan Rogue I drove was very clean and new.
