The men who moved me were polite but one tried to sell me a wardrobe box that I was told by the company I would give for free. The wardrobe boxes did not have the bar to hang clothes. Instead, my clothes were piled one on top of the other into the 2 wardrobe boxes that were used. Even though I have now hung the clothes, they are still extremely wrinkled so I have a lot of clothes I will need to get wrinkles out of. The movers seemed to be hustling but the move took much longer than expected -- but maybe that is because I just had a lot more stuff than I realized. Unfortunately, my new house was not ready on time so the movers moved my stuff into storage. I noticed the movers piled things -- one on top of another. I did not realize until they were done that they had piled things even on top of items that were delicate or on top of boxes that were even labeled "glass" or "fragile". Because I was not 100% satisfied with their service, I used another service 4 months later to move me out of storage and I notified the storage people when I would be moving out of the storage unit. On the day I had other movers moving me out of the unit, one of the men pointed out damage to antique piece of furniture. When I got it home, I saw the damage was even more severe than I had realized. In addition, there were other furniture pieces that had scrapes and dents and a broken glass in a box. I contacted Nationwide to explain what I found. They said because I used a 3rd party to move out of the storage unit that they could not help me because they wouldn't know if the damage had been done by their people or the 3rd party. I explained that the 3rd party is who pointed out the damage even before they touched the piece. The damage was noticeable after they had removed another piece that had been sitting in front of it. Nationwide stated I should have contacted them to come out to inspect the damage before I moved the piece. I explained there was no time since I had contracted to be out of the unit that day and had the 3rd party movers only that day to help me. I would have had to pay for additional storage time, additional moving fees to the movers, and rent a moving truck AGAIN in order to have given Nationwide a chance to come review the damage their movers had done. Something tells me they would not have accepted responsibility for the damage, anyway.

National Moving Services Inc Moving Companies review My 70 year old parents contacted this service to move them from Idaho to North Dakota to be nearer to our family after my father was diagnosed with lung cancer. Unbeknownst to all of us they set this up on their own with very little knowlege of such things. They were charged $19,000 initially and an additonal $800 at the time of loading because the quote was off. They have been in ND for over a week now. I was FINALLY able to reach someone {an actual person} to find out what was going on. My parent's belongings are in Washington State, in storage and we have no idea when to expect delivery. They took their things that were to be delivered to North Dakota, from Idaho to WASHINGTON STATE and put it in storage. They have 0 furnishings. They have 0 cooking supplies. They walked into an EMPTY home and we have used friends and family to help them limp along. I understand they are a broker company but someone needs to be held accountable. I am apalled. Just......ugh.

Be careful with this company, They will give you an estimate with the supposed price that you will pay for the SCF that you use in the truck, but the reality is that is a scam, when the middle man arrive to your house( in my case was Budget) he will give you a new estimate with a higher price. Nationwide will send you before the day of pick up an email saying that if you need to change something to let the truck driver know to re-estimate and if you have any problem with him they also include a phone number to call. That’s also a scam, they will never permit you to change nothing only if is to add more space and of course pay more. They will never return your deposit if you want to cancel the service. Sometimes is better to pay more and deal with professionals to “pay less” and at the end you are paying about the same for less moving items. I paid $3,200 dollars for those boxes, no furnitures, no beds, only boxes with clothes. Not cool at all

This is my second time working with this moving company and I was fortunate to have a few of the original individuals that helped me move the first time, Ismael and Wilson. Everything was done so efficiently and quick which really took the stress out of moving again because we all know the hassle it can be. For anything we happened to not have boxes for, they had provided various ones and even packages it themselves. The moved my piano from the third floor to another third floor which was super stressful. If you are looking for a great moving company, I promise you will not regret it.

Worst experience ever! Broke stuff, wouldn’t deliver to our home, even though other 18 wheelers had delivered on our street. Gave an estimate and then overcharged with the company they used. Didn’t take any responsibility for broken items or the overcharge. We literally had to Unload our own furniture that we paid for them to unload. We got other peoples stuff and told them. They said to just keep it cause they couldn’t come back to deliver it to the right people! Unbelievable! Absolutely would never use them again!

This guys made my move easier then I thought at a great price! Ismael and his team were so fast, professional, and respectful. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Packed up all my furniture, broke down my king size bed and took down my TVs and brackets for me. They even took their shoes off when I asked in my new house for my carpet. We moved today using Nationwide Movers. My friends warned us that the movers like to drag their feet as they get paid hourly so I was kind of cautious. However when the movers came, Alex and Sonny, to my surprise, were fast and furious. The moved at light speed. Professional, honest, and friendly. They were sweating like crazy. I recommend this company. The cost is reasonable.

I’ve been using Nationwide movers for every move I’ve ever made in the last 15 years. They are thorough and quick every time using extra cation with my belongings. I've used Nationwide movers 5x in the last seven years, most recent being June 9. I've always contacted them via email and the response has always been courteous, prompt and helpful. The movers handled my items carefully and reassembled all furniture without any issues. Total costs was as agreed and no surprise charges.
