If I could rate this clinic a zero I would because this place doesn’t even deserve a one star rating. If you’re lucky enough to get someone on the other end to pick up your call I’d say you should count yourself lucky. Expect a 45 minute wait in order to speak to a receptionist if you haven’t already hung up by then. Once you do speak to someone, expect a rude and impatient person to take your call. There is absolutely no communication, no confirmation calls, no organization, just chaos with this clinic. You will get a different answer depending on the receptionist you speak to. After a visit to the hospital, I called to book a physical appointment with the doctor and realized I already had a phone appointment in my file for THE NEXT DAY but no one bothered to call me and advise me of it. After saying that I’d much prefer an in person appointment, they stressed that appointments are now done just over the phone. The phone appointment came and went but no call. I called the clinic only to be told it was an in person physical after all and so they marked me as “no show”. I then called 3 more times and received three different responses about their upcoming availability. I mean it’s a good thing I’m not dealing with anything life threatening otherwise I’d be toast. Do yourself a favour and stay away.

Dr. Shaide was at first simply my doctor and doing his job very well. I have many health issues that made me into a disabled person. He is now one of my best friends and so warm and attentive to any of my needs. May God bless him and his family. I understand that the clinic has a problem with their phones, and they have been trying to solve this problem since the beginning and cannot. The secretaries are very courteous and devoted, They always try to do everything to help me, I really appreciate their attention. To me they are now family, I really have the up most respect for them, they always try to do more and help. The nurse I think is not in the right field of work. I think that she does not realize that working is giving of yourself cause it seems in her mind that the patient is their to give to her, while it is not the case. I think she needs re-orientation, as a patient I often see her back, and it is not suppose to be. A real nurse is a professional and a person you can rely on, but this nurse is not in that frame of thoughts. With that being said, I have to walk one kilometer to get to the clinic and i do it with great efforts, but to see doctor Shaide, it is all worth it. Louis :-)

Dr. Issac might be a good doctor but does not have respect for your time. I had submitted a form to become a new patient and they called me and gave me an appointment for Sep (in the form, they ask for your address and phone number as well). We go there after 5 months for meet and greet. The first question he asks my sister (we went together and we live in the same place), was where we lived and if we were planning to use their walk in clinic. We clearly said where we lived and he said it is far and we said, "yes, but we do not mind coming here but not for walk ins of course". He continued getting my sister's personal health information and at the end he told her to sign the consent form to transfer her file from the previous family doctor. When he asked for all my personal health information, at the end he said, "Oh, I cannot accept you as you are not in the area"!!!!!!!!! Why he kept collecting our personal health information when he already knew we were not in the area??? why he first accepted my sister and told her to sing the consent form??? so humiliating and disappointing, they do not have any ethics......

Horrible!! They almost never answer the phone, are so disorganized, and the receptionists don't know any of the doctors schedules. Went there for a few months and was the worst experience I ever had and will never go back! I signed the form to have my file transferred from my previous doctor and they never transferred it or even contacted them, and they never read any of the important stuff I gave them from another file I had. During Covid I tried to get an appointment in person to have my ears checked due to pain in them and was just prescribed medication for it without even knowing for sure if I had an ear infection. Forced my license to be suspended after lowering my medication for my ADHD without my consent, and without bringing me down slowly which could've been very dangerous, and they never listened to any of my concerns. If I could give 0 stars I would and I would sue them as well if I had the ability to. Do not recommend at all, had to immediately go back to seeing my pediatrician at 19 years old and had to once again find a new doctor because obviously I couldn't continue seeing my pediatrician forever.

2020 to 2023- Forgot to send super important referral, waited six months for it to be processed before being notified that it was never sent. Did it AGAIN, and this time the office I was being referred to rushed me to the top of the list because of how distraught I was. Also had a consult in June 2020 where I was to be referred to a neurologist. The Neurology referral was only sent in December 2020 (SIX MONTHS LATER). I was dealing with numb fingers and they waited six months to send a referral! July 2023- Very unprofessional- never send referrals on time and doctors openly discuss private information with staff in front of other patients. When I told Dr. Awad I would report her she asked to see me alone with her office manager for a meeting. I do not feel safe to be in a situation where I am outnumbered, and I should never feel unsafe with my doctor. November 2023. Absolutely awful. Hung up on my sister after using every excuse for being rude. Currently reporting Dr Rita Awad for poor bedside manners

Since I have been waiting on the phone all day to rich your reception service. I might as well use some of MY time to write a review on your clinic. I had to deal with many medical clinic in my life. I most say that the reception service you offer to your patients is awfull and show a lack off respect for people who have to book appointment and talk to a receptionnist. (not blamimg the receptionnist) but the administration. I have been trying all day to confirm an appointment. Nobody bordered to call to confirm the appointment . Unless they cancel...you might be lucky enough to get a call. Today greeting on their answering service, says Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Really? On the 11th of November. Well I wish that the New Year..... will bring good changes to your medical clinic and show more consideration for your patients. I would give a -1 star if I could.

For the people who feel the need to post a nasty review after a bad experience: Please Please Please understand that the front desk has to juggle so many tasks that you can't see just from sitting in the waiting room waiting to be seen. At times we may seem short or "rude" but we all have our bad days or bad moments in the day so please do not take our tone of voice to heart. Clinics are a hectic place to work in where there are constant tasks needing to be done. I ask that you take a step back and try to put yourself in our shoes. We are here to do our best to help you but keep in mind we are not the ones who imply the rules of the clinic.. we are simply asked to keep them in place. As for our doctors, they see many patients in a day and they too get overwhelmed as we are only human. So please treat us the way you would like to be treated. With respect.

I have been going to Dr. Rita Awad for several years now and she was my mothers doctor for many years as well. She is currently my family doctor as well as my wife's family doctor. Dr. Awad is extremely knowledgeable and one of the kindest people I have met! When my mom was going through difficult time, she was someone I can talk to and she would be so empathetic to my situation. She always tries her absolute best to cater to her patients and never showed a sign of dismissal. She has an extremely high level of integrity and care so much about her patients. To demonstrate how important she is to me and my family, we recently relocated over an hour away from the clinic but we refuse to change our family doctor to someone else! Dr. Awad, thank you so very much for all your hard work and your care to your patients!!! God bless you.

Dirty clinic, rude staff and undertrained doctors. I only recommend going here if you are absolutely desperate & there is no other medical care available anywhere. My family saw two different doctors here and each time was a bad experience. They don’t follow proper hygiene procedures! Dr. Gerges didn’t wear gloves when administering my child’s vaccines, and left the open needle sitting on his desk exposed to bacteria! The nurse I would be surprised if she has any medical training because she literally can’t even weigh a baby properly or do the measurements the right way. Dr. Rita Awad is rude, unprofessional and only cares about billing the number of patients she sees in a day instead of providing quality patient care. The administrative staff are immature, clueless and provide horrible service. Don’t waste your time!

My experience with Dr. Award and her team was exceptional. They were always professional and polite. My mother's health care needs were very complex. They understood her needs and worked closely with me to ensure they were met. They were always available when needed and greeted both of us with respect and friendly smiles. Mom has severe Alzheimer's and with that many health concerns. Dr. Award and her team treated mom with the utmost respect which in turn, allowed her to continue her journey with dignity. Both mom and I thank each of you very much and appreciate your professionalism, respect, support and dedication you provided us with while in your care.

Last week experience and Today's experience with the person answering the phone is awful. These people should know that working in the humble job to make patients feel welcome and appeased. I understand that they may be stressed but that is no excuse to be rude on the phone and expeditive. Question to these people would you like to be treated same when shopping? Would you like to be treated same by your cable company? Would you like to be treated same by your travel agent? Would you like to be treated same by your bank? I'm sure not, so open your eyes and treat people the way you like to be treated. You don't have any excuses!

I have been a patient here since it opened a few years ago. The service has declined steadily - and rapidly. Before COVID it was bad enough, hours waiting on the phone only for the phone system to disconnect you, horrible support staff etc. but now it is a whole new level. It is not possible to reach anyone at this clinic, I literally had to call the pharmacy to have them walk a message over to have the receptionist call me. It was the only way to even reach my doctor for assistance. I am removing my family from their patient list as a direct result of their incompetence.

I had been with Dr. Shahid for about 3 years. I can honestly say that I would never recommend anyone using him as a family doctor. I had to switch my family doctor because his lack of work ethics and inability to explain simple medical terms. The two essential qualities I think every doctor must have. He once made me to pick up the prescription at the front desk and go back to his office for him to sign. hum....why was I there in the first place? Oh right, I broke my ankle and needs medical attention. I didn't get a feeling that he cared whenever I visited him.

This clinic and Dr. Abdelshaid are the God-sent for us since we met him. He has been dedicated to towards his profession, and the welfare for my family. Relatively new in Canada, we have been through many ups and downs since he has became our Dr., and its hard to imagine, anyone else would have been more companionate and accommodating to help us through these times. Without his encouraging madical support, my wife and I couldn’t have been parents of our two beautiful children in our late forties. God bless him and his loved once for his kindness.

What an amazing clinic. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. So much respect and appreciation to our Family doctor Dr. Oussama Fares. Not only they always try to accommodate urgent care especially for my kids, but he also makes sure to call and follow up personally on our kids health after illness. We need more of such clinics in our community who value the human touch and put patients as a priority. I come all the way from Kanata and it's always worth the trip for me and my family. my wife , 2 daughters and I have had Dr Rita Awad as our GP for over 2 years now. one one occasion in her absence I also met with a Male doctor as well who was excellent. Not once have we left unhappy. Dr Awad has always responded to our needs in manner that is sensitive, patient and more importantly appropriately responsive to our complaints or ailments. we cannot be happier with the services at NMC and recently signed up for thier pharmacy services as well. thank you to all the good staff there.

Compared to my last family doctor, this medical center is a Godsend. The doctors are helpful and take my health seriously. I find the rest of the staff to be courteous and professional so long as you also show that courtesy. I made the right decision changing family doctors to Dr. Abadir. I would recommend this clinic and it's doctors to everyone and anyone. I also appreciate that they take the COVID-19 pandemic seriously and restrict face-to-face visits to emergencies only.

Could not feel more lucky to have Dr. Fares as my physician. He helped me tremendously after struggling with many issues and no support from my previous doctor. He’s extremely professional, very caring, compassionate and very thorough. I don’t know where I would be without him. I’ve cried so many happy tears knowing I’m in good hands now. Also, the reception has always treated me with great respect and are very helpful. Very happy with my medical care for once in my life.

I went to pickup clinical notes for yesterday visit. The reception told me, I will ask the doctor. I don't drive unfortunately. I could have waited 15-20 if I had to. She said the patient will take 1 hour and she will call me. I just waist my time my energy and my patience. All that for a psychiatrist and sexology at the Royal Ottawa. I could have given 5. Unfortunately you deserve 1. Sorry. I will look for a new one this weekend.

received a call from the centre - thought it's about checking on us, specially a family member is awaiting to have an appointment with a specialist for long- eventually they wanted to know why we went to an urgent clinic during a weekend! so as always they care about their money nothing more. overall medical service is below average. the doctor doesn't even know how to help patients or where they should go to get further help.

I’m thoroughly impressed by the professionalism and care provided by everyone in this clinic. Dr. Ibrahim is extremely kind, patient and listens to all your concerns. The Nurse practitioner has been gentle with my baby when he has to get his shots. Most of all, the admin staff are my favourite. They are thorough, caring and extremely competent at their job. They get things done!

I’ve been a patient with the clinic for years , never experienced medical service this bad . Was supposed to have an over the phone appointment with Dr.Rita Awad at 11:30 am. Took my break off work early, she didn’t call . Spent 45 minutes of my time only to not receive a phone call, extremely frustrating and unprofessional.

This is by far the best doctor I have ever had. They are always running on time. Dr listens to concerns and acts accordingly. I love him!! My only complaint is it sooo hard to call in. They never pick up the phone and answer machine stays full. Sometimes I can call every hour for 3 days and never get through.

Avoid this place if you can. The receptionist doesn’t answer the phone, won’t respond to voice messages, and IF she does finally answer after waiting over 15 mins she will hang up the phone before u can even say hello.

This is NOT a walk-in clinic, unless you are a patient there. I showed up with severe chest pains, told the receptionist, and she shrugged her shoulders saying - sorry. She could have, at least, called an ambulance!

Absolutely awful. You will get sicker going here not better. Do yourself a favour and love yourself by not going to these doctors- DR AWAD SHOULD LOOSE HER LICENSE AND I HAVE FILED A REPORT AGAINST HER BEWARE!

We've been here a few times to see the doctor and have had only good experiences so far. The reception was welcoming, and they've always returned our calls whenever we had questions for the doctor.
