"My kid was doing excellent in her 2 years of preschool at a different school but in subjects like math, she brings home assignments they've done in class that tell them to see how many they can get correct in 60 seconds, so they're basically teaching them to guess the answers, which I've seen my kid do after they began those assignments"
"If you are a Spanish speaker and want your child to go to a school with predominantly Spanish-speaking students and teachers, this is a great school for you"
"I graduated from this school! I’m a freshman in high school now and all I remember was making new friends and having teachers that only want the best for you"

"Hi this is me Monsura! I graduated from this school but I miss and love new field! ❤️"
My kid was doing excellent in her 2 years of preschool at a different school but in subjects like math, she brings home assignments they've done in class that tell them to see how many they can get correct in 60 seconds, so they're basically teaching them to guess the answers, which I've seen my kid do after they began those assignments. For some reason, in the last report card, the reading was 2 levels lower than the report card before that, so they're not even giving them a proper education. My kid brought home a complaint note saying she was tickling a kid, which I just threw out, because they want to complain that she tickled someone but when my kid has been hit, the teacher just says are you bleeding, is anything broken, then that's a problem for you to solve. The kindergarten teacher she had took off at least 2-3 weeks of the first weeks of school so the class missed the first few weeks of school because they didn't even have a substitute. The clerk has always had a bad attitude, which is why I don't communicate with her unless I have to bring something to the office & she's there. She even called halfway through the school year saying my kids confidential paperwork wasn't turned in, which it was turned in with her enrollment papers & her preschool printed & faxed it too, which means she lost it. I don't know if I'm gonna send my kid back here after the school year is over because they're very disrespectful & don't educate children well.
If you are a Spanish speaker and want your child to go to a school with predominantly Spanish-speaking students and teachers, this is a great school for you. But if you are not a Spanish speaker, this school is a terrible place. Here PTA meetings and other presentations also happen in Spanish language, including PowerPoint in Spanish language. My daughter went to preschool here, and Ms. Bermeo was great. But the school, overall, I felt was unapologetically focused on serving Spanish-speaking students and parents. The rest of the folks can go to hell.
I graduated from this school! I’m a freshman in high school now and all I remember was making new friends and having teachers that only want the best for you. The school also takes mental health and emotional health very seriously. Before my highschool burnout kicked in I would get straight As from the outstanding learning here
My 2 kids received an amazing education Pre-k -2nd grade at New Field. & I was embraced in their community. (We are not Spanish speakers, I must state based on other reviews. A majority Spanish speaking population was a great, realistic experience for us, & we never felt overlooked or underserved.)
Hi this is me Monsura! I graduated from this school but I miss and love new field! ❤️. This school taught me a lot but the problems was Inappropriate Behavior, Racism, Cussing, and some favorites in between 3rd and 4th grade but the favorite were 2nd grade. But overall I love this school. ❤️ …
This school focuses on social services more than they do teaching. 3 teachers to 21 students and they still can't effectively teach. This school caters to Spanish speaking students and parents only!
I have 2 children enrolled and it's absolutely wonderful. The staff is professional and helpful, the community is diverse, and the teachers and staff go above and beyond for the students.
I have went to this school from pre k and i habe got good treatment from staff and they have good teachers for all subjects and they all remember your name i would recommend going there
