"A grand mosque, suffi imans but great servants of Allah SWT"
"TARAWIH PRAYERS they pray in 4s not in 2s I brother-in-law and few others left the prayer and went to Harper road"
Mashallah very beautiful centre, I used to come here every Thursday has a baby and little girl with my family when molana sheikh Nazim may Allah be pleased with them used to come. I have such wonderful memories. I decided I would like my nikha done here by molana sheikh Mehmet (which I had organised separately) however I need some advise on the Islamic certifi ate and other information. Not only were my queries responded promptly by the imam in regard to my Islamic certificate, My husband was also advised on what to do and he is a new Muslim. On the day the Imam as well as Molana team really helped him and shukar ah Allah I am now married. Such a beautiful serene and peaceful place mashallah. Ya Allah swt give you all jazah Ameen!
Beautiful Masjid with fantastic architecture. It was once a church but as soon as you step into the prayer hall you can feel the presence of Islam within the building. The masjid was not always open due to a lack of staff but now it has an imam who recites beautifully and is open for all 5 daily prayers and includes Jumu'ah. The Jumu'ah khutbah is in Turkish, Arabic and English. The people and the imam at the masjid are very welcoming, they will have a chat with you and ask if you are fine if they have a chance. They are very accepting and warm-hearted. Definently a beautiful Masjid.
This mosque is an old church building conerted to mosque and worshipers are mainly moderate and from the Sufi sect of Islam. The mosque has two floors, ground floor for men and first floor for women. These guys do lots of good deeds and encourage the worshipers to do so. They are also very involved in the community. The only issue is that the khotbah or Friday sermon is delivered in both Turkish and English and the English version is read instead of spoken. The mosque is one of the cleanest mosque I've seen so far.
A grand mosque, suffi imans but great servants of Allah SWT. They have turned, and I would imagine a Catholic church into a brilliant mosque mashallah, Alhamdulilla. Very good setup for sisters and brothers and good kutbahs mashallah in english and arabic, which makes it really easy to follow. All in all I would recommend any Muslim or someone wanting to explore Islam to visit this mosque inshallah, if they have not done so already.
TARAWIH PRAYERS they pray in 4s not in 2s I brother-in-law and few others left the prayer and went to Harper road. Would not recommend as all my life I was praying in 2 raka. Last year they prayed in 2s with a line of a surah not even full surah now it’s 4raka instead of 2s in TARAWIH PRAYER
Went here on the day of Arafah to pray and read Quran till Magrib salah, however after Asr salah we got told to leave since prayer is over although the mosque remained open for men. The man who told us to leave was very rude and disrespectful DO NOT COME TO THIS MOSQUE AVOID THIS MOSQUE
Beautiful. Went for a gathering and it was such a beautiful and spiritual event. Really felt home away from all the stresses of this world. It's really nice to go with the family kids are happy it's open and spacious for them to sit with small toys colouring book during the event
Beautiful place, near to East London. We want to know if this masjid does any Hadrah dhikr's? My husband loves it but we never had the chance to be part of a Hadrah. I have only been to this masjid to see Mawlana Shaykh Mehmet Adil QS. We also go once a year to St. Ann's dergah.
nice and clean mosjid, imam and staff members are very nice and friendly. have space for parking and they are organized too, will recommend to local people for worship to allah, oh they have a huge collection of islamic books and sometimes they serve delicious food too
One of the oldest masjid in London (1980). Went there on a Saturday and was amazed by the guidance and care provided to kids . Very much a kids friendly masjid . So happy to see kids playing , learning and even cleaning the masjid . Paid on street parking available.
Very nice Masjid - very clean and spacious, also recitation was nice but pretty sure there was some bidda going on after the prayer ... this is not according to Sunnah. May Allah guide us all to gain the correct knowledge the way it was intended for us Ameen.
Masha Allah amazing masjid .parking available but only very few cars able to park..Saturday and Sunday free.i came again after 2 years .for fajr prayer bit late masjid still open alhamdu lillah .May Allah reward this local comunity Ameen.
I came here to be in the presence of The highly esteemed Shaykh Muhammad Adil QS and this Masjid (which was originally a church) was heaving and buzzing with atmosphere. Didn't use the washrooms hence can't comment. Loved the gallery area
A special Masjid close to my heart! I still visit in Ramadan now with my own children as they love it here alot and it’s the only child friendly Masjid I know and it looks the same as it did back then, but sadly it’s not buzzing the same
I wouldn’t recommend coming to this sufi centre. Came for Fridays prayers as I was working in the area and they do many things that are not found in authentic Islamic teachings according to the prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم . I
A very blessed and Spiritual place to pray. I went there today for the Thursday Dhikr led by Mawlana Shaykh Mehmet on the UK tour. They will be leading Dhikr again here next Thursday ay 8pm. I highly recommend anyone to visit.
Love how prayers been arranged, distancing, plastic bags given for shoes to be kept clean, plain paper sheets given to those without prayer mat's. Its amazing.....
So beautiful and tidy and clean But I been twice there was no open As we know in Islam the mosque is the god house and should be open at lest in the praying time
It's a nice spacious mosque, with a very well designed layout and process. The new Imam Saab is knowledgable and it was nice listening to his sermon on Jummah.
Very beautiful and welcoming mosque. Spacious and clean. It has a women area upstairs, from where you can see the main men pray area and the Imam.
MashAllah very nice well organised masjid. Sisters prayer hall upstairs and brother's on the ground floor. Also has classes for children.
There are plenty of space inside it. We go there for Friday prayer and Eid so we never had to wait in Que unlike other small mosques.
Nice recitation, clean and tidy place... unfortunately, the mosque is not open all the time during the day...
Enjoyed to be there, even though it was Turkish managed mosque and Sufi sect of Sunni Islam in my opinion.
Huge, great Imam and of the few community based mosque who deliver what a mosque should represent.
OLD CHURCH NEW MOSQUE WITH CLASSICAL HISTORY OF PAST MAY ALLAH SWT BE MERCIFUL WITH US.. AMEEN..
Beautiful Masjid. Nice spiritual activities such as Zikr after some prayers. Lovey people here.
I am really sad that church turned into Mosque. Its sad that we have forgotten our religion.
Beatiful mosque. They just refurbished the toilets. Free soup served after Friday prayers.
