I went there to buy a nose piercing, I previously purchased one a couple months prior which I ended up loosing hence my 2nd trip here. I was ignored for 15-20 mins. Until this older lady came and said yes. I told her what I was looking for and so she showed me. Clearly she wasn’t interested in helping as it showed on her face. Anyways, I ended up finding the peice I was looking for. It wasn’t in the perfect shape, the hook was bent and it wasnt closing properly. I asked her if she had another piece and she said that this was fine and it wasn’t necessary for me to look at another piece. She went to the back to get it adjusted and what not. I still looked the same and she said don’t worry, it’s good. I didn’t want to stand there and put a show on so I said fine, I’ll just take it. I asked her about the pricing and I said ok, she charged $100 for a little nose piercing plus tax. I told her that was too much and that the last time I took it it was for $50. She said well prices change. I mean doubling the price within a couple of months is ridiculous! Such bad customer service, no acknowledgement whatsoever. Why do older indian ladies think its ok to treat their customers like that? It’s sad. I hope she realizes that it’s right to treat customers like that. What a shame. Please watch out, there are plenty of other jewelers out there who actually are devoted in finding pieces that you request.

Be Alert? Bunch of thieves and liars... WE visited Rana Jewelers (November 16, 2023), Airport Road, Malton with a certified gold coin to have it melted and reshaped into a raw bangle to be gifted to my family. One staff with turban came out and quoted a price and later he agreed to reshape it with our price... The cheating, deception started here: first we were told that they will not melt the gold but rather with reshape it by hammering it but later on he came out to weigh the gold and he was adding up small pieces into the main design. When questioned, why he is adding more when he just had to hammer or for that case melt, he replied we lost pieces of golf and we are ‘compensating to you’. Our suspicion on the despicable practices of Rana Jewellers raised when three staff were giving three different explanations!!! After returning, we contacted few of our friends in Jewellery business and were informed that Rana Jewellers have (for sure) replaced our certified gold with their own. This aggravated our concern and we called Rana Jewellers with questions and were informed he can replace the gold with certified coin but have to wait for 7 days!
