These guys are great! My 13 year old Subaru Imprezza wagon was rear-ended by a heavy car. There was not much apparent damage to my eyes. But viewed from the lift the supporting damage was visible. The other car's insurance paid for damages and New Xcell did the repair. My car looks new (at least the part New Xcell worked on). They even did a few extra touch-ups and returned the car, in very few days, beautifully clean -- really almost detailed. I am completely satisfied with their attention to detail, the pleasant and courteous service and willingness to represent my interests with the insurance adjuster. The price to the insurance company was quite reasonable, well within the companies guidelines.

This shop is amazing the people are friendly an helpful, they will go out of their way to help and they will always work harder to give you a better price. They have made the process of rebuilding my vehicle so easy. They let me know the things I absolutely needed versus things that can wait. And they did it within my budget. A project that I was dredging was made into an well priced simple repair job in sessions. Just good guys. I recommend this place for anyone who wants to have an easy time fixing their vehicle.

I have been a car owner for about 15 years and owned multiple cars. I live nearby the shop, and when the car battery died – luckily in my garage– they fixed it the same day. They are unbelievably nice and service minded, and genuinely care about you and your vehicle. I consider them a great staple of my neighborhood, one that makes living here convenient. I go every year for NYS inspections, oil changes and whatever else might need care. They have always met my expectations or gone above or beyond. Thank you!

I went in at 8:15 am on a Thursday desperate for my NYS inspection to be done. Although the parking lot was jammed and the phones were ringing off the hook, they worked me in. It helped that I offered to wait and get my car off the lot as soon as they were done. The father and son were quite lovely and a joy to speak with as they whizzed in and out helping customers. They seemed to have a good rapport with every person that came in. I was impressed and will not hesitate to go back.

While visiting our son and his family in Brooklyn, had a flat tire and some other minor repair needs. Not being familiar with local auto repair shops, I randomly contacted New Xcell and talked to Ray. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, and willing to have my car towed to his shop and evaluate what was needed. Ray did all the necessary repairs in a timely manner and at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Ray and his other crew members for auto repair needs.

On a Sunday afternoon my shifter cable bushing failed on me while driving into the city. Only had first and second gear when I just crossed the GW bridge. New Xcell was the only shop I could get to in time that would take my car in. Eric was transparent about his pricing and quoted me a fair price for the work that I requested to be done on my vehicle. Tip: If you prepare ahead and know what needs to get done to your vehicle it will save you time and money.

Small and efficient shop on the corner of Old Fulton and Hicks. Unlike hundreds of alternatives, all 3 bays are clean and actively used to work on customers' cars. The parking lot has an assortment of Japanese, European and American cars. Nevertheless, the manager (Ronny) and his techs are very knowledgeable about BMWs. They knew the usual "weak spots" of 3-series rear suspension and use quality OEM replacement parts (not the cheap junk).

Honest, fast, good prices, and good knowledge of a wide range of cars. I went to the Honda dealership for a under-warrantee battery replacement. They tried to upsell me, I said no thanks but to be sure everything was okay I took it to New Xcell. They said most of the dealer recommended work was unnecessary. They took care of the one legit issue for a fraction of the cost quoted at the dealership. Recommended without reservation.

Phenomenal place. They did a ton of work at a reasonable price... much lower certainly than the Honda dealerships I've gone to (which is perhaps not a surprise, but I got dealerships priced pretty low with discounts). Moreover, they did the work well -- the car hasn't drove this way in years! A friend recommended them and said he's their mechanic for life. Now I feel the same year. Eric is definitely the guy to talk to.

The only place I’ll bring my car and I will miss it when I move across the country. Kind, honest and hardworking is how I would describe everyone at New Xcell. They have changed my oil for years, always been helpful with updating registration and tabs and this year I was involved in a hit and run which took off my drivers side mirror and Eric was so lovely to work directly with geico and handle the whole thing. 10/10

Needed a new antenna installed on the roof of my car because mine I dont know what happened but it was damaged. They were able to order the part for me and in a few days later brought my car in and it was ready in less than 24 hours. So glad I was recommended this spot. I live far but it's worth coming here. Eric is fast and great with communication and service. Definitely come here for your car repair needs.

AMAZING SERVICE! Woke up to a flat tire and without a spare. Called like 5 shops and only they were able to willingly accommodate me going in last minute although they had full lot and were crazy busy. I went in to New Xcell to replace tires and investigate an issue with my AC / blower, and the service I received was top notch. Service was fast, the manager Eric kept in great contact throughout, and I learned a few new things about my car. This place is great quick and easy. I recently had a bad experience after going to the nissan dealership to get my oil change and inspection. They had told me it would take 3 hours with an appointment. After going to New X-cell, it took a little over 20 minutes and they did an amazing job. Will definitely go again and recommend to my family members.

Xcell Automotive Repair is one of the best things about moving to Brooklyn Heights! We had a dead battery in our Prius that no one wanted to touch. He was swamped at the shop but took time to come up to get us started. He is knowledgeable, honest and loves Prius! I appreciate a local mechanic and HIGHLY recommend him.
