I recently had an outstanding experience at the New York Family Dental Arts. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the atmosphere was warm and comforting unlike most dentist offices. I had the pleasure of meeting Liz and Becky, both hygienists, that are not only highly skilled but also took the time to explain the procedure thoroughly. Following the cleaning, I had my cavity replaced by Irina who was just as thorough in explaining my everything and was patient with me throughout the procedure. Lastly, I was fortunate enough the office was able to squeeze in a tooth extraction last minute. Alex reviewed my X-rays and explained it shouldn’t be a complicated procedure. Surely he was correct and it was the most simple wisdom tooth extraction I can remember! Such an amazing team! The office was impeccably clean, and the latest technology was evident. I felt genuinely cared for throughout my visit. This dental practice truly prioritizes patient comfort and provides top-notch care. I highly recommend them for anyone seeking a reliable and family-friendly dental experience. Five stars all the way!

So, no dentists have been a major thing in my life because of fear and mental health stuff… Many moons have passed before coming to NYFDA, found out two cavities and needed root canals on both. Hiyaaah! Liz and Doc’ V. Made me feel comfortable and part of a family… Albeit, I had to shut up on part one of my root canal, because my curious questions were keeping Doc’ V from completely focusing on what needed to be done. They let me listen to my playlist from Spotify on my tiny speaker in the exam room which grounds me when I get anxious, and it turned out to be a pretty fun time, who’d of thunk it? Highly recommend NYFDA for your dental needs and a place to stop in and get a smile… Happy Halloween!

I strongly recommend this dental clinic. Everyone is so professional, kind and not judgemental (last dental visit was almost 2 years ago). More importantly they so flexible with my schedule; I went during my lunch break and they were extremely accommodating. Lastly, I want to take the time to recognize a few shining stars: Manager Annie is running a great clinic where you feel well taken cared of and she makes sure you don't miss your appointment. Dental assistant Lisbeth demonstrates how great she is at her job while always smiling and being so helpful. NYC is particularly a hard place to find great doctors and dentists that aren’t just trying to rush patients in and out. NY Family Dental Arts cares to educate you about your health and the team is also very helpful and attentive with checking my insurance and provide a very smooth process with text reminders. I really, really, really hate going to the dentist but Rebecca the hygienist makes it all worth it for me! She is gentle, caring, knowledgeable and foremost, wants you to be comfortable with every part of the procedure she is performing. Highly recommend!

What an incredible dental surgery!! I’m pretty fussy about my teeth (and sensitive!) and the care, warmth, professionalism and attention to detail that Becky took when cleaning was exceptional! I’m so glad I found this practice as I know I’ll be very well taken care of. The dentist was also thorough and very friendly. I also asked Becky about whitening my teeth and rather than selling me the hard-core procedure she suggested an easier, more gentle route to getting a great result. Very impressive all round!

Had a cleaning, x-ray and exam. The staff is extremely polite and make you feel very comfortable. Rebecca did my cleaning who did an awesome job! Not only is she personable, but she listened to what I had to say. I told her I had sensitive teeth and she made sure I didn’t feel a thing! Dr. Vaiman is super nice and lets you know what should be priority. Before you commit to any procedures, they also give you a breakdown of the costs. Not many people say this, but I enjoyed my visit at the dentist!

This was my second visit to New York Family Dental Arts, which I found via a google search, and I am so happy I did! Dr. Alexander Vaiman is kind, knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable. The staff was welcoming and accommodating to my needs. I had both a teeth cleaning and a bond procedure after a disappointing experience at another dentist, Dr. Vaiman was able to fix the bond and make suggestions for at home care. First time going! The lobby was a bit loud, because you can vaguely the background other appointments, which was jarring. But when I got in, my hygienist and the dentist were both so nice. I felt like I was being treated as a friend. The X-Rays were performed as quickly as possible. The teeth cleaning felt thorough and efficient. When I was having trouble with my insurance, the receptionist helped me sort it out and remembered me. Felt very personalized, caring, and professional.

I’ve lived across the country and this is the best dentist I’ve been to. I missed them while traveling the past 2 years and I’m so happy to be back in nyc and going to them again. Dr. Vaiman is amazing and an absolute professional. He saw me at 8am Sunday morning for a root canal (as a new patient!) before I left Monday morning for a flight. The procedure was completely painless, finished within an hour and he was gentle and considerate throughout. Dr. Vaiman is a fantastic dentist. I had a root canal about six years ago, no dentist could do a crown over it because how tight the space is at the back of my mouth. He’s the first dentist in those years told me that he’s able to do a crown and the process so far has been very smooth.

Amazing experience at my first time visiting this office. Everyone was so kind! All of the professionals who worked with me provided great care and were extremely thorough. They verified my insurance quickly and were upfront about how much any future work may cost.
