I don’t normally write anything negative about anywhere, but tonight… unfortunately I can’t hold it in anymore. Am I the only one who thought this was a hip hop/r&B bar We walked all the way from Ahmet’s after dinner cos we felt like listening to some, we were so excited. But unfortunately we entered and all we could think was what de hell?? Hmmm I thought surely the music would be hip hop/r&b. It wasn’t. It was sort of I don’t know how to describe, just generic instrumental music you’d hear while on hold on a phone call, or in the elevator. We thought it’d be rude not to order anything, so we did. When the guy delivered the drinks to our table, I politely ask if they would have any hip hop/r&b songs that they would play. He said: “I’m the bar, not the DJ, don’t ask me”.

I had my sisters hens at this place, were all in black with black sashes, my sister in white with a white sash saying bride to be... clearly obvious. The bartender Sean was so rude, to my sister and alot of us. He should not have a job. He ruined the night for us. Not helpful, stink attitude, serving only one of us consistently (who had a cleavage revealing dress maybe that might have played a part in this sick persons mind) but refusing service to others. It made no sense. It made me so angry he upset alot of the girls. The host was great but the bartender was disgusting!!! #GetSeanOut #brisbanedripsplash

Took some friends to next episode who have never been before and boy has this place gone downhill I presume owners have changed. Gentleman name Sean was extremely rude and unprofessional, he kicked a group out due to a gentleman talking to his girlfriend and then started having an argument with his gf at the bar in front of us and other customers. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. By the looks of the other comments this isn’t the first time Sean has left this impression with other customers. Don’t bother going here if you wanting to check it out.

Loved my experience with my girls at the next eposide bar as well as our instructor he was super super nice and helped in every way he could. I do have to complain about the bartender we had "Sean". He was extremely rude the whole night and definitely wasn't welcoming. He would step away from the bar when we wanted drinks. I definitely think the price we paid for was worth it at all! Sean wouldnt serve us drinks as we only wanted to get our moneys worth. He definitely had ruined my Hens night and this was also recognised by the 13 of us that were there!

Have been before and thought it was a fun, quickly venue with delicious drinks. Tonight was an absolute let down. As we were taking photos with the phone - as intended at a gimmicky place like this, we were rudely accosted by the man at the door. He rudely demanded that my friend move and stop blocking the door, even though it is a hidden bar and the “door” is disguised. Not sure how you can block a door you can’t see. Disgusting service that ruined a lovely night with friends. Will never be back.

I was already having an amazing night and I wanted to end it by trying this bar I've never been to. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the atmosphere was. The drinks had creative names like biggies baby babay and Wu-Tang slam with combinations like a spicy cocktail with tabasco. I think the best part of the night was the DJ always playing the perfect song and the song that I decided to leave to was Pharrell's "beautiful". That's how you leave on a high.

It's a novelty venue - very small, hyped up entrance method, worth it if you're chasing that Insta shot. But obviously they're a cocktail bar so drinks aren't made in 30 seconds and they can get quite busy, which can mean a while to wait both for a seat and for a drink. It's good if you're bar hopping and it's not peak times on a Friday or Saturday night but that's about it. Music can be very loud, considering it's size. Drinks are great quality though.

It was cool to enter (ruined a bit of the mystique with the post it note of the code above the phone though) but the service was terrible. While it was busy, I stood at the bar for almost half an hour waiting for an acknowledgement. I understood that there would be a wait (the whole bar was filled and it's tiny), but to not even have a bartender look at me the entire time was ridiculous. I ended up giving up after an hour and going to another bar.

It had a cool entrance, however there was a pretty distinct smell upon entering the venue. I was hoping to look for a quiet place to sit and have a drink with my friend - but the music was way too loud despite the fact that there weren't many people. So if you are trying to look for a quiet spot to catch up with friends, probably not the best place. The cocktail was unremarkable, I'd say. Just the vibe and novelty of a hidden bar was attractive.

Ashley is the most incredible venue manager I have ever had the absolute honour of meeting, thank you so much. we came back to brisbane for the first time in two and a half years and she seriously have made us feel pleasant about this place which my partner and I never thought was possible. most incredible person ever, Ashley deserves the absolute world. if I could give ten stars to this woman wholeheartedly all of them.

This is a great little bar in Fish Lane! Fantastic and unique set-up - one seated barber shop out-front, bar in the back . Enjoyed the hiphop music, a live DJ was a good touch. The decor and the atmosphere is very hip. Limited selection of beer and a cider on tap; my beer was nice...quite a few cocktails on the menu though. This place is definitely worth a visit, and the novel store front is impressive.

Absolutely love this place! The secret entrance is such a fun quirk and once inside you're immediately surrounded by the best 90s and early 2000s music and friendly staff. Recent tasty and sustainable upgrades to the menu by the lovely manager, Ash, have made me love it even more. Next Episode is a must see in South Bank's trendy Fish Lane.

Cute secret bar. Everytime i bring friends to this place they're always surprised and i love seeing the surprise on their faces. I don't mind paying $22 for a cocktail but it has to be good and not made by a new bartender who isn't yet confident, and with average liquors. Cocktails are about entertainment and presentation.

Nice bar with a unique concept. The entrance through the barber shop is a great idea. The bar itself has a chilly vibe and the cocktails were really good! Would 100% recommend, especially (but not exclusively) if you like Hip Hop and RnB music.

This bar is a very cute well hidden bar. We initially thought it was a student art project or a barber. But on closer inspection it was a fantastic mini cocktail bar. With many cocktails to choose from. The atmosphere was great, and the cocktails were delicious. I highly recommend checking this place out.

I really wanted to like this place and it was hyped up so much on social media, but why let people wait out the front for so long just to come inside and have nowhere to sit because it's so packed in a bedroom sized venue. Good idea but honestly stood there for 5 minutes awkwardly just to leave.

A great speakeasy with a fun and unique twist! Bartender Sean made me the honest-to-God best cocktails I've ever had. There's good music, great variety in cocktails, a cool and relaxed vibe, and even card games on hand incase you need any extra entertainment. Recommend 10/10 More

This place was a huge disappointment. Waited over 45mins to get in, put the code in the phone and pretty much nothing happens, you just push on the mirror. The place was so small, the floors were sticky. One toilet for everybody! Was not worth the wait.

Tastiest cocktails in Brisbane in my opinion. The music is a little too loud, making it feel like a nightclub, and we had to wait 30min for 3 cocktails, but overall still had a great time there!

The guys at next episode were so lovely and such a great vibe in there we travelled from Newcastle and heard great things about this place and it did not disappoint! Would 100% be back !!

Amazing place to hang out! Love the idea of the secret telephone code. Bartender is really friendly. The only problem is that it's a small space so gets cramped very quickly.

30 degree weather and I can’t walk into this bedroom sized bar with shorts on while my girlfriend can walk freely around in a skirt. It’s west end for gods sake.

Cosy bar, DJ played a wide range of music. Drinks were good - they have their own cocktails but you can order other drinks too.

We had really good time here. All of their cocktails are very interesting and delicious. Staffs were really nice and friendly!
