Ideally, I prefer posting review so that others (like myself) can be benefited from the general experiences and advises. I sometimes read other’s review, post before I make some decisions too. I have visited to Next store at the Ilford Exchange to collect one of my order at 6:46pm on Saturday. I was refused by the store. Although I was in the store before 15 minutes of the closing time. However, I found the young lady was closing shutter @6:46pm. As I have requested whether I can collect my order and the store meant to be open till 7:00pm. The lady replied due to the queue inside her manager asked her to close the shutter. I have explained that my order meant to be collected by the date, otherwise order would be returned back and cancelled. I have requested if I can speak to the manager. The manager (Ms Sidra, as she told me) came and spoke to be very rudely and asked me to come anther time to collect my order. I found her response was bit arrogant, unhelpful and bit of unethical.

I visited the Next store at Havelock St Unit 1a, West Mall Exchange Shopping Centre, Ilford IG1 1BY on my birthday, September 18, 2023, and unfortunately, the experience was marred by an encounter with a staff member named Has. Has, who I believe is of South Asian background, displayed a shocking level of rudeness and unprofessionalism during my visit. I had come to pick up a parcel and return an item, and despite having the receipt, Has refused to cooperate and even raised her voice. It was upsetting for both me and my mother, and other customers in line were also taken aback. Initially, when I asked to speak to the manager, Natalia, Has was uncooperative, but thankfully, Natalia stepped in later and resolved the issue professionally. This encounter was far from the excellent customer service I expect from Next. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures such incidents don't happen again.

The one star is for the rude behavior not for the products. I along with my family had a very distasteful experience here today. I don't want to mention the name of the guy. I was waiting outside the trial room with some cloths in my hand. To get a rest to my hand i put them nearby place onto some oher hanging cloths. Suddenly the guy came and rudely asked me to remove the cloths from there. I did so but very surprised by his behavior. Then again while i was in trial room, i heard he misbehaved with my wife and sister in law asking them to pick up the bag from the floor that i left there before went to trial room. I don't know the reason behind his strange behavior. May be he was stressed or might be these are very normal here in UK (i m not from here). But i would like to request the manager to take care of these hot headed employees who directly dealing with customers.

Have been shopping here for a while and they have a good selection of clothes. The childrens section is probably the best followed by the mens. Not much of a variety for women and worse if you’re petite. It would be better for you to visit Stratford Westfield where the entire shop is dedicated to women. Saying this, the shop in ilford is always busy and the customer service is good. The shop is located within ilford shopping mall. The mall has great accessibility for people who need it. Lifts, elevators, accessible toilets and changing rooms, quiet hours for shopping, shopmobility - assistance to help you with your shopping, scooters and wheelchairs. There is parking around ilford shopping mall but a lot of people use public transportation or walk.

Think twice before shopping there! I ordered cloths and had it delivered at the store, on two separate occasions they gave me someone else's order, first time round I returned it and left it. When it happened again for the second time, I spoke to the manager and his attitude was somewhat disappointing to say the least! He apologised but explained that these things happen and there is nothing they can do about it!! No reassurance that they will speak to staff to make sure this doesn’t happen again or extra measures to put in place…. Nothing from him! I was disappointed because I had to make a trip to NEXT just to return and this man’s face was like, ‘stop wasting my time’!! Management needs changing!!!

I'd gone to the next sale and a few items I'd purchased had been put through the till incorrectly. I went back to the store hoping that I would get a simple apology and a refund of the difference. I waiting for a manager for 20 minutes. First of all she looked at the items and made no attempt to speak to me. Secondly when explained what had happened she authorised the refund and walked off. There was no attempt at any communication not even a hello or goodbye. If that's management I will certainly not be going back to that store again. Disgraceful and utterly rude!

One of the smaller Nexts, lots of clothes are out of stock. The staff were very unhelpful and closed off one of the exits before closing, we couldn't get to the elevator with our pram and the staff refused to let us out through that particular exit to the lift that led to the elevator, we had to take another exit that only had escalators,

Always my fav store at exchange,i am a regular customer for more than 10 years,love the quality of clothing nd mostly do my click nd collect orders here at exchange v easy and hassle free quick returns yesterday i went there too and served by an amazing lady RAMESH she was v helpful nd quick,i appreciate her professionalism.well done

don't go there looking for Women's Work Wear. It has an entire top floor for good quality Men's clothes, but the women's wear is third rate compared to this. Most of the lower floor is taken up with kids clothes, and a few Women's casual/leisure clothes almost as an afterthought. Are women just Mummies in this area? Disappointing!

Our local very good high street brand shop in Ilford Exchange shopping mall. Especially they are famous for clothings and home stuff business. Most of the time I bought their products online and their online shopping delivery takes a bit longer time compare to other store or their rivals.

I like to go to NexT ! I love this shop ! But If you go there , be careful .. Someone stole my wallet( money, id ,etc) from my bag 2 days ago .. One lady who saw me there , told me that the same thing happened to her with phone in the same place ! Just Take care When you go there !!

Shuraiz was extremely helpful and patient with me. I initially had trouble finding the correct style and fitting for a shirt but Shuraiz made my experience at this Next extremely positive and I can only say his customer service skills were nothing but excellent.

The staff refused to change me a shirt because it wasn t looking nice inside the bag.Very rude!How can you try a cloth if you can t take it out from the plastic bag?I will never go back there.I never had this kind of problem with other shops!zara is superior!

Very arrogant staff. Especially the store manager named Girda Javed, she doesn't even bother to respond properly. I had to wait with my 15 months daughter in the line for 40 minutes to collect a courier. Doesn't bother much about the customer.

Love to shop from next. Good quality clothing but recently added so many brands that there own clothing quality seems cheap. This shop is not to big as compare to the one in Gallion reach but you can order in store as well.

If I could have given no star i would, someone who I think was manager making out to look busy, didn't approach me to offer help or to find the jeans I wanted, won't be going back there in a hurry, Romford is a lot better

There is an old lady who is a cashier and i hate her attitude. She always goes, 'one item at a time on the counter', when I want to return my items. I return in bulk so how am I suppossed to hold 15 items in my hands!?

Employees need to provide better customer service. The guy there wasn't interested in helping me out. Need to improve customer handling skills. Ended up not buy g anything as the variety of suits there was poor.

What a lovely branch, helpful staff and really attentive. They acknowledge you as you walk in and apologise for the time spent queuing. Well done next! This is a great store because your staff make it so.

I am toll and I can buy only in Next shop high quality and nice style dress, jackets, shoos which looks perfectly on me. That's why I like so much this shop. Also is many very beautiful things for kids.

I have been in ilford for over 7 years now. And seen everything redevelopment. Which is truly looking great. You can find everything here. Except two things mothercare and a toy r us. Thank you. Hifza

Right now standing in the queue for half an hour to be served. Ridiculous service , they are short of staff and the client is suffering. they need a proper management. Idiocy at its peak....huh

On 1st Floor of mall next to escalators. Carry a good range, children's and women's on entrance level. Men's and homeware on upper level. Slightly understaffed, however friendly and helpful.

Store was closed 9 minutes before actual closure time. Just wanted to pick up my online order and that's the time I could make it. Had hope but then the store management let me down

Great clothing store and a one stop store for all the family for good quality clothes that are on trend. The store is well displayed and conveniently placed in the shopping centre.

Next is a good shop for women's clothing. I love their shoes and holiday wear. I always pick up the nail polish packs and small perfume kits, which are great for gifts.

Easy to navigate and easy to find in the town centre. Everything in the store is easy to find and well layed out. Some items however are not in this store.

Pretty good branch of next. Not big but that isn’t a problem for me. Tidy in the morning but by the afternoon and early evening it’s a complete mess! ;)

As a chain next is brilliant in what they come up with every season. This specific store needs attention in terms of customer services. Big time I mean

Last Saturday 01/07/2023 i was visited at Next. wanted to buy a shoe for my daughter. farzana helped me to get the size. pleased with her service.

Staff have all the basic customer service training in place. Doesn't blow you away but moles better than other stores. Well done team …

Sorry to say this is such a disappointing store for next. The cliick and collect is very slow the staff just seem unhappy or bored.

I will never buy clothes from Next, they are all fake clothes, every time i buy from Next the clothes get ripped off in few days,

Ridiculous. We waited for 20 min for a collection. Romford is 2 minutes, job done. Just very lazy staff.

I rarely go to Next but when I do, I find their shoes pretty long lasting and generally comfortable.
