On the ground floor of the Holiday Inn Express Kuala Lumpur City Center. Cash or credit cards accepted. I ate here twice just to test both sides of the menu. I suggest you opt for pizza instead of Indian or Mexican food. They were out of the grilled squid but I had the chicken nachos. The salsa was more of a BBQ-based sauce and the guacamole was mealy and mostly tasteless. I know corn is a big thing here but I still don't think it belongs on nachos. Chips were thin but crunchy and the chicken was dry. I opted for the mutton biryani and garlic naan the next time. The naan is very thin and at times crispy, almost like a matza cracker or tortilla. It was tasty but not necessarily overly garlic-y. I'm used to naan being thicker and more pliable, but this was adequate for eating with the biryani. The biryani was spicy but the rice was a bit on the dry side. The mutton was a little juicier and there was a good amount of it. I also tried the margherita pizza. Large, somewhat thick slices of tomatoes under the melted mozzarella cheese and the crust was pleasantly crisp. The sauce was a bit on the sweet side and may have been similar to the salsa with a BBQ-y taste. It was good enough that I'd be curious to try one of their other pizza flavors. Staff have always been friendly and the restaurant itself is a very pleasant place. It's very convenient if you're staying at the Holiday Inn Express and need an option for lunch or dinner.

Our family of 4 stayed in KL at E&O Residences Hotel, just across Nicks Restaurant for a couple of days. If you are near this restaurant, it is a must to visit. (Only few minutes away from the Pavilion Shopping Centre). The staff were very welcoming and the food was marvellous, mouth watering delicacies. We ordered: Grilled Salmon with veggies Spicy Chicken Wings Fish Tikka Masala Prawn with steamed rice Parathas (stuffed) Masala Tea Milkshake & Beers It was also my daughters birthday (2nd Jan) and the team made it so special, secretly! I mentioned to the waitress about it while ordering and behind the scene they prepared a speciality ice cream with a candle (my kids have coeliac so this was a gluten free option). My daughter was so happy after we all sang happy birthday together! Thanks team Nick. The best restaurant to visit! Not to forget, they understand Gluten Free options and guided us what to order as well. Ps: I only took photo of the fish tikka. We quickly indulged in the other dishes haha. We came late evening on a Monday night. Big place, only one other table eating when we arrived. Young female taking orders, was really polite and attentive and poured a great pint of tiger!! Lots on the menu, including chicken tikka fajitas and butter chicken pasta! I ordered the Chicken Vindaloo and made sure when ordering to specify I wanted this spicy, the waitress said this was a spicy dish so all good. What I was served, though was rich with chicken, potatoes and flavours, was not a chicken vindaloo by my flavour, taste or spice and though I ate it because I was hungry, I was disappointed that this would be called a vindaloo in an Indian restaurant. Naan and rice good. No complaints here. There is nothing, unless it’s in very small print about the 10% service charge in the menu. I’d like to be able to choose if I’m going to be leaving a tip or not and how much I would like to leave, not have one already taken out of my bill. I think this is poor form and should be stated clearer. A solid enough little place, well price but if you’re an Indian purist, I think there must be better options in KL.

Having lived in the area for 5 years and being called Nick, we were surprised it took us so long to find Nick's - especially when Mexican and North Indian cuisine are favourites. At Nick's you get BOTH in a comfortable setting just 7 minutes walk from Pavilion Mall. Staff are warm and friendly - as you would expect when Nick the owner is a fixture at the restaurant keeping a sharp eye on how things are being done. All the dishes - from the tandoori chicken quesadilla, to the guacamole, vegetables and corn chips, to the butter chicken and prawn curry were excellent. Clearly made with love and care. And the prices are most reasonable, especially considering the quality of the ingredients that make up the dishes. We will be back and will tell our friends. Well Done Nick & Team! PS. No food photos - we were too busy enjoying the food and forgot the photos - actually a very good sign that things are good!

I've been coming regularly to Nik's recently. A stone's throw away from Changkat or Pavillion, Nik's is a great value North Indian and Mexican eatery and bar. Get ready for the fusion dissonance: the samosas are divine and the tacos somehow make a lot of tikka sense. It works. Signature dishes abound, and the Butter Chicken comfort food doesn't disappoint. The Indian-Mexican burritos challenge taste buds, but demand to be eaten. By the end, you'll wonder why you hadn't thought of it first. Chicken Con Carne will have you asking for more. For Gin loving folk, the 5 shots of Gordon for 75 RM is a steal. Enjoy. Other specials are alluring, too. Malaysia is the land of fusion, and Nik's makes transcontinental fusion food with delightful results. If you don't like mixing continents, standard fare are available, with the menu offering Indian and Mexican standalone dishes. But do try the homemade ice cream.

My husband and I visited about a week ago, very conveniently located by the Holiday Inn. There is a nice selection of Mexican and Indian dishes. We enjoyed our first meal and service so much we went back a second time. The waitress (sorry I didn't get her name) was very polite, friendly and spoke English very well. Our second visit as soon as we walked in she already knew our drink order. Our first night we had chips & salsa, Dal Tadka, Chicken Tandoori, and Naan. Our second visit we had Chicken Tikka Enchilada & Chicken Tikka Masala. We would eat here again.

The worst food we have ate over our south east Asia trip. We ordered the butter chicken with garlic naan. We asked the waiter if the chicken was white or brown meat and he said it was white. Once it was brought to our table, it was clearly brown meat. The butter chicken sauce was a bright red with a sour taste. The naan looked like pita bread and definitely wasn't made fresh in a tandoor. We also ordered the chicken tikka tacos. The chicken also had a strange taste and came with a fruit fly. The prices were very expensive especially for poor quality food. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We chose Nicks for our end-of-year party & we were so pleased we did. The service was impeccable, portions were huge, and the food was absolutely fantastic. I have eaten at Nicks regularly with my family over the last year; both eat-in and Grab are always delicious. Typical hotel restaurant, very slick desing and clean with few customers. I had the enchilada and it was great considering we are 12000 km from Mexico. Presentation was good but not up to the standard of the manager who came two times to apologize because of the bad presentation. That was unnecessary because the meal was fine and I considered I had good value for my money. In the end the manager felt so bad, he offered us ice cream for dessert. A very kind gesture and very much appreciated because the ice cream was very good, super creamy and tasteful. I also liked the selection of different type of hot sauce.

Hidden gem near the heart of the city , service is really good. although parking is slight expensive , but this place is truly worth to visit Strawberry Lassi , probably the best i had - just nice mixture of sour and sweet - so refreshing ! For food, we ordered Nanchos, Poppers and Chicken Fajitas - portions just nice and reasonable.I’m not sure if he is the owner but i appreciate one of the staff inform me - they been waiting their pro tandoori chef to start work - so they decided to stop the tandoori menu till the pro arrived - this is really professional and responsible in their QA control.

The food at Nick's is absolutely out of this world! Awesome flavours and combination of Indian and Mexican dishes. The atmosphere at the restaurant is warm and cosy. Nick and his brother were friendly and nice people. We went there twice during our stay in KL. We would go to Nick's again! And again! Anushka and family, Sri Lanka

First time there and was quite hidden. When you see Holiday Inn, just walk the ally in between and it's smacked right there. The staff were friendly and the food was surprisingly good. Overall the food quality was good, pricing a little on the high side but portion was good for 2 person sharing. Will come to back to try the Mexican food.

We ordered the jalapeno poppers, chicken tikka enchiladas, chicken briyani, garlic naan, mutton Rogan Josh, and mexican flan. The food is good and I enjoyed them all! Slightly pricey but acceptable for this part of the city. The staff were also very prompt and helpful, and Nick was very friendly. I had a good experience overall.

This place is nice! The atmosphere is relaxed and cool, the staff is also really pleasant. They know what they're talking about and what they're doing, and you can see that making consumers happy is their first concern. It was a pleasure to speak with the boss personally. Good Indian food, clean and comfortable seating and atmosphere and friendly owner—Nick. While the food tasted authentic it wasn’t the best I’ve had. The garlic nan seemed halfway between chapati and nan and the dahl was missing the complexity of spices and flavors I love so much. The same was true of the mutton rogan josh. The strangest thing was the music which kept randomly switching from 70’s pop/soul to Indian traditional to Indian techno pop. The combination of tradition inspired Mexican murals and Indian motifs was attractive and interesting.

We went for breakfast and ordered masala tea, samosa & Cauliflower stuffed bread. Masala tea was a big disappointment, tasted like hotel room tea. After that our expectations were low. Samosa & cauliflower stuffed bread were ok, samsoa was more like aloo bonda & Cauliflower stuffing was barely recognisable but the taste was good with curd & pickle. We went there because of the good rating. Not sure if this is the standard here in malaysia as we were comparing them with India.

It was a great experience to visit Nick's restaurant. I was in Malaysia with my colleagues for at least three months and we had dinner daily and never get bored. The service we received was so amazing. They made us feel welcomed and especially the owner of the restaurant was so polite and kind. The Indian food was so delicious, mainly parathas and the best thing about the cook is they customised the dish as per our wish also.

1. Mix veg curry means a curry of green beans and a few carrots that's it, no other vegetables, no cauliflower or pea or paneer or potatoes. The owner said it's their Mexican version. 2. Prices on bill are different than menu. Menu says jeera rice is 10rm but they charged 12rm. 3. Considering the quantity and quality, prices are exorbitantly high.

We were staying at Holiday Inn Hotel KL and were pleasantly surprised to discover this place that serves wonderful Mexican & Indian cuisine just at the same building. The Enchilada chicken and Mexican pizza was great and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the butter chicken. The service was efficient and we had a wonderful dinner experience here indeed. Will definitely be coming back again :-)

Service is good. This ond i give you full stars. The food overall is not as good as expected. Butter chicken too sweet and feel like sweet tomato puree chicken. Tandoori chicken is dry. Biriani overall OK and can improve. Nan (plain and garlic) can improve the texture. I feel like eating crackers The good one is nachos and fried chicken wings. Fresh orange juice was good.

We went because of the good reviews but was very disapointed. Entre we had chicken ( couldnt eat it horrible) and mutton only ate it because we were starving. The following mains were ok but nothing amazing. The waitress was fantastic but over worked. The manager to his credit appoligised for the chicken and took it off the bill. Perhaps the mexican menue would be better ?

Good food and good ambience and good staff. We ordered tal tadka, paneer butter masala and it was really thick Dal (less watery) and paneer was really good. They make good pizza We stayed in KL for 7 days and ate their majority of the time. Good place to eat Indian and specially if you are vegetarian.

The food here is alright. The fried chicken is fried well but was on saltier side. The butter chicken was creamy but salty too. Briyani was ordinary. Service however was great. Attentive waiters and nice ambience to chill. There's also live music at certain hours / days. Food here is on a pricier side.

The best Masala Chicken I've ever had in my life. Amazing. Also Chicken Malai Tikka I enjoyed greatly. All time great Garlic Naan. I've been to this place several times and each time the quality of the meal was high. Restaurant staff courteous and helpful - the cheery on top. I recommend this place with all my heart.

Naja das Naan Brot hatte ich von Sri Lanka besser in Erinnerung,  Chicken Marsala war gut, der Rest naja, der Mann der mir den Hauptgang gebracht hat war sehr unfreundlich bzw. hat nichts gesagt Enjoy your Meal etc., der Glasboden vom Wasserglas war grün vor lauter Schimmel. ( das war warmes Wasser da war keine Zitrone drin, Reflexion, Spiegelbild der Zitrone)

Went for the second time and reordered the butter chicken. Ate it complimentary with cheese naan as recommended, and all I can say is delicious. You can’t say “delicious” convincingly unless you mean it, so yeah. Will defo go again!

Happened to go for dinner! Ordered Samosas, Hara Bhara Kebab, Vegetable fried rice, Kashmiri naan, Chapati, Kadai Paneer. All items were freshly made and tasted very very good. Samosas were the best of all. Will try non-veg next time !!

Went for dinner with my wife on a weekday. The restaurant is tucked away in a corner away from traffic and noise. A very nice place for a quiet night out. Food we ordered was too great. The Butter Chicken, Naan, and, Chicken Briyani we ordered were all on point. Nick and his staff were also very attentive to our dining needs.

Cuisine indienne décente, goût authentique et portions de bonne taille. Would definitely recommend this spot for Mexican food in Kuala Lumpur. Great friendly service. Cauliflower steak was delicious and one of the best vegetarian dishes I've had in Kuala Lumpur.

Came in early (6pm) only two other tables occupied in a relatively large place. Quickly attended to and cold Tiger draft served as I waited for the meal. I had samosas and prawn masala with butter naan and all were excellent. The samosas perhaps the best I've ever had. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices. If I lived in KL this would be a regular stop for me.

Wow! Amazing hidden spot in Kuala Lumpur. The food is amazing and also the service is excellent. We especially loved the prawn masala and gobi 65 (fried cauliflower). The portions are not too big, so you can order multiple dished and try different things. We ordered 4 dishes with two persons, can really recommend when visiting KL! They offer a cool mix between Indian and Mexican cuisine!

This place has such little business that they stay closed most of the time. Hours on the website and Google are not correct. It's 5:00 PM on Friday and they posted a sign on the door that said they be back at 3 and they aren't. Obviously that's not happening. This has happened frequently. Don't come here unless you call first. They'll be out of business before year end.

I had a really good experience at Nick’s Restaurant and Bar. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and Nick himself came over a couple of times to have a chat with my family. The food quality was great; good value for money. I particularly liked their Cosmopolitan, and my family enjoyed the Indian delicacies. Overall, it is totally worth it! I recommend

Took Palak paneer (Palak was uncooked) + malai kofta (tasteless) + garlic naan n tandoori roti which is no where near how it should be and Gobi 65 which was soupy instead of dry and crunchy . In all a v bad experience for the amount of money spent .

We were staying at Holiday inn and this was the obvious choice for good with a great ambience and attractive interior. Food had a very good taste. Loved it's a lot. Specially the flavor of Indian cuisine and many choices as well as Mexican is on the menu. We've enjoyed the food a lot and definitely we'll be coming for more next time.

Me n friends, we loved all our ordered, it would be nice if they have salt n pepper shakers on each table, those are inexpensive n good investment.

The grilled salmon was dried and hard. Food can be improved... There's no washroom in this restaurant. The washroom is at upstairs on the 2nd floor. It's deem and dirty. Advice for ladies, don't go in alone.

Went to this shop with my colleagues for lunch. Nice place with alot of choices from both north indian and Mexican food. The food is a bit pricey for me but portions quite nice. The restaurant is Holiday Inn Express so I think that's why it's a bit pricey. Good place for special occasion.

We went to Nick's for a birthday party last weekend. The owners of the place were very warm and welcoming and the food was great! I especially loved their Kulfi ice cream, had to get seconds!!!

Does not live up to the reviews at all! Had the mixed platter which was bland then ordered the keema which was very watery and just tasted like Bolognese

Very tasty indian food, thoroughly enjoyed the daal, butter naan and the chicken tikka masala dish. Excellent service as well, felt very welcomed and appreciated. Keep up the good work!

We enjoyed this restaurant. The service was amazing, the Mexican pizza was well prepared and big enough. We’ve ordered a non-spicy tika massala and it was delicious. We’ll definitely come back and you should go give it a try (no sponsored ad)

I really enjoyed the food and the staff were very nice and friendly, could have been more lively but it was a Tuesday evening after all. Free pool table as well which was a bonus.

First thing first worst food, Never try Indian food here , Except nachos nothing you can eat here. Beleave me you will feel looted and same time hungry when you leave this place

Nice and kind staff and very delicious Indian food. Butter chicken is very much worth a try. Would definitely eat here again

A very nice dining experience with the family and the place is kids-friendly. Good range of indian food plus you get the choice of Mexican food as well.

A great spot for a get-together, service was excellent and the food was delicious. Crispy Naan or Plain briyani paired with butter chicken is a must have. Also the Tandoori platter is great as a starter and for sharing.

Best option who want to eat vegetarian.(non-veg option is also available). This is servival for me durring Malaysia visit. Hospitality is awesome and food quality is great. If you visit Malaysia, must to try option.

Foods are awesome, Service are superb Affordable price for a place in the heart of KL. Nice chill out spot. For those who enjoy Northern Indian cuisine and Mexican food , this place is a must try …

Nick's Restaurant is a vibrant place with delicious food and good drinks. I recommend the Ham-Cheese Naan. Do not miss the live music night with Clifford on Fridays. A must go place with a perfect Host - Nick.

Lovely ambience, great location (you definitely can’t miss the signboard and Nick’s stand out logo) and lovely food! I mean, who doesn’t like Indian and Mexican food! Would give 6 stars if possible.

Food here is so good. We came off the back of the reviews here and it didn’t disappoint. Chicken Biryani, Chicken Tikka & Naan was 10/10 Staff are really friendly too. Would defo recommend.

Had a reunion with friends and their children at Nick's. Enjoyed the food very much. Wonderful ambience and the children loved the pizzas and pastas too. Will definitely come again.

The food was excellent especially the butter chicken and Dal Makhni, absolutely delicious! Owner is friendly, and staff are very well mannered too. Will definitely go back again.

Went there a few times, they never disappoint! Great service, GREAT FOOD and great ambience!! Personal favourite: Butter Chicken and Chicken Briyani! I definitely recommend!

The combination with fusion of Mexican and Northern Indian food blended well cool chill beers. The amazing staffs we excellent with their smile and kind hospitality.

Nice and friendly owner . We focused only on indian dishes, (can't speak about some of the fusion creations or mexican food) and we've been extremely satisfied!

We had a great birthday celebration here. The food was delicious, the ambiance was lovely. Overall 10/10 definitely recommended!
