Totally awesome experience. I have been their repeat customer, rented and drove nobirds for thousands of kms. Their latest corolla hybrids are really good to drive. It is super clean at pick up as well. Make sure you return the car in a fairly clean state and they won’t nit pick. If there is sand in the car, vacuum it before returning. You have to pay for the tolls as it is a norm for all rental cars. As always, it is completely hassle free with NoBirds. Kudos to their awesome staff who are always a delight to deal with (both in person and on the phone). Always make sure you get the damage waiver. In case you made a mistake, this will be your ultimate saver! I was super lucky to have taken the damage waiver this time around!! Airport shuttle service is pretty good too. Do the expect that it will arrive as soon as you get to pick up point and leave as soon as you are on the shuttle (as expected and adjust your schedule accordingly). The shuttle bus is a toyota Hiace van which seats about seven people. Overall, I would take shuttle again. The only thing which I wished it were different is how they take the deposit. Rather than holding the amount on the card, they charge it. If you are using a non Aussie bank credit card, you will be affected with bad exchange rates from your bank twice. If they only hold it, it won’t be an issue.

Would I hire from them again? NEVER. I recently hired a car from No Birds, and when we received the car immediately felt that the car was too small. It was a hybrid. 1. When I wanted to upgrade it to a larger vehicle, the staff said it was not possible because I had hired the car through a 3rd party site. 2. The check in process was long winded as the staff may have been new (that's alright) but the system in use was a Microsoft DOS System. It was such an archaic system and it just goes to show that the company does not invest in upgrading. 3. Due to the heavy rains in Sydney, there were many potholes. We were victims of one. I called No Birds to inform them of the problem and they said "No problem, just bring it back and we'll have it changed." But I was charged $1000 in excess fees. The car itself was not damaged in any way, just a tyre. I could have just changed the tyre in at local tyre service shop and saved myself $900 and the grief. It does not cost $1000 for a new tyre. 4. The business is NOT even close to the airport. It's a 15 minute drive. All the other car rental agencies have pick up and drop off at the airport itself. Save yourself a world of grief and unnecessary effort. The service culture of Bayswater Car Rental or No Birds needs to be changed. Would I hire from them again? NEVER.

Great service from the guys here, great hybrid car. I am posting with 3 stars only because of the horrendous journey to get here. there is a problem with the mapping service - the staff told me they have heard about this. Seems this will take some time to rectify so lemme post here to help others. Mascot no birds has been given the same gps coordinates as Qantas. Apple Map routing sent me to the Qantas warehouse which is the other side of No birds Mascot. There is No way to get across Qantas via the Qantas service gantry which is for Qantas staff only. I switched to Google Maps and that brought me the whole way round back correctly to No birds Qantas. I would have saved 30 min if I had used Google maps from the start. Shuttle from mascot to the airport was seamless. Bayswater No birds cars rocks! Apple map does not. Oh yes since the staff knows about this map issue, they could inform customers in advance - hence the 3 stars for the management for not picking this up.

I usually never leave reviews like this but my previous experience with No Birds was outstanding. It was our first time with No Birds, and the experience was extremely enjoyable and memorable. We were going through some hard time trying to fix up the issue regarding to a car accident we had but the manager of Mascot Sydney called Desmond has been exceptionally helpful and patient. Desmond explained through the procedures one by one in detail and tried his very best to help us out. Also the Mascot office was very neatly organised and all the staff members were very helpful and approachable. I have used several other rental companies but this was the best experience I have ever had. From the help of Desmond and all the staff members in Mascot office, my family could focus more on our health recovery. I will definitely recommend my other family and friends to go with No Birds for any rental cars. And I do think company must give some compliments to superstar Desmond!

THE WORST CAR HIRE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! When booking online it was started that the car was available to be picked up from the airport which it wasn't. When we picked up the car we were then hit with a $500 holding fee which was never once mentioned during the booking process. Upon inspecting the car the customer service representative apparently didn't notice all the scratches and dents that were glaringly obvious (I then proceeded to go over the whole car so none of it could be used against me upon return). When we returned the car, the customer service representative was quite rude and abrupt, also asking me IF I HAD PAYED FOR THE SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE?!?! once again none of that was mentioned when booking the hotel car (when booking online I was told that the total amount payable included ALL FEES AND CHARGES) So I suppose all I can say is that a company like yours has a LOT of work ahead of itself if it ever wants my business or the business of anyone else again.

Rented from Bayswater for years with good experiences until today. After returning the car to Mascot for our international flight, the agent said that we would have to pay a $50 "cleaning fee" because the interior of the car was "dirty". Yes, there was some sand from South Coast beaches - mainly in the driver and front passenger sides - but this would have taken 2 minutes to vacuum. More importantly, after renting from Bayswater multiple times in Sydney and Perth over several years, we have NEVER been told this and it has NEVER been mentioned to us on picking up the car, nor are there signs about this in the car to remind renters. Yes, the contract says to return the car "in a clean condition" but we have always brought it back with signs of normal, typical road use and have never had any problems. Shame on Bayswater for basically a money grab.

I rented cars there a few times for work. Raised concerns twice with the cars. Once when the key for the Hyundai i30 wouldn't work regularly, starting the day after pickup and I couldn't lock the car half the times. Was told by the manager that it's impossible for that to happen. Raised concern another time when the alarm for tyre pressure started beeping soon after I drove out of mascot. When I asked whether they checked the tyre pressure physically before the cars went out for lease, they said that would be impossible because they 'have so many cars'. Then they cancelled my future bookings without even a courtesy call. Only found out when I arrived to pick up the cars. I was told that the bookings were cancelled because I raised concerns too many times (twice). Luckily I managed to get another rental car straight away with CarNextDoor.

Just wanted to share a great customer experience from one of the guys working there (I believe his name was Robin). Please spare some extra time if you are heading to the airport, as the area can get a bit of traffic and i ended up being very late. The guy at the desk didn't bother much and said the shuttle will cme. After a few minutes and no shuttle at site, i grew very anxious and was sure to miss my flight. Robin was walking past and enquired if everything was ok. and as soon as i explained, he ran out and got a van and rushed me to the airport, saved my day. Otherwise, std. cars and normal service, except the AUD: 2,000 upfront deposit, just need to make sure u hav a card available with that much balance and it might take a week to get credited back, depending on the bank i guess.

We have hired a car on two seperate occasions from No Birds in mascot (never again), both times this woman responsible for checking over our vehicle was extremely rude. She had no idea what the petrol gauge was before we left, accusing us of returning it less full (which we did not..) Once we ironed out this issue (with hostility and attitude from this woman) we left and ordered our uber. While waiting outside she came bounding out, pointing her finger at us, yelling we did extra kms. Usually the extra 11kms would come out of our holding deposit without being publicly embarrassed.. will never hire a car from this chain again because of this womans hostile and unprofessional manner. 7pm Wednesday 9th September, No Birds Mascot

Small inflexible operation with hidden costs. The airport shuttle never came even though they say it comes regularly, it doesn’t. We had to call the office after waiting an hour and then it only came 15+ minutes later. They then provided me with a very small area I was allowed to drive the car in even though my booking stated unlimited mileage. I had to pay a considerable amount extra to drive outside of Sydney. We wanted to leave the car in Brisbane and were willing to pay to do so but they said they don’t provide that service. This is a very limited and small operation, rather pay the little bit extra upfront and go with a decent provider preferably in the airport that offers proper car hire services.

#Read the terms and conditions, it's on you if you don't. Great service! I highly recommend No Birds. Everyone that is complaining has not read the terms and conditions and have scrolled past choices such as ticking the extra $5 box for airport transfers. I never booked a car before online, I accidentally booked the wrong pick up centre. I emailed them about airport transfers and I didn't get an option to book the transfers. No birds quickly got back to me, explained my mistake and fixed my booking without a fuss. The car was I got was brand new only 600kms on the clock. It was lovely to drive. No fuss drop off. Just leave the car and jump on the shuttle bus. Just about to book again.

I hired a Toyota Corolla Hybrid for about 7 days in Sydney for trips to the Blue Mountains and Port Stephens. The rates from Bayswater was the best I could find online after comparing with other car rental services. To by delight as well, the car was in great working condition and clean to boot. No hidden fees as far as I'm aware of. The only small issue I would guess is the location (there is a shuttle bus from the airport, but no public transportation nearby so if you are renting a few days after you've landed in Sydney you'll probably need a taxi or an Uber to get here). But I'm here to rent a car, and in terms of affordability and quality I'll definitely hire here again.

I hired the Outlander for 6 days. It was great experience. In my view, I find No Birds Cars are latest edition and cheap at price compare to others and even insurance cost is affordable. I must be thankful to front staff who was working on Wednesday 09/02/2022 at 10am, when i return my car literally i had no time to clean it so i returned the car unclean but they didn’t bother to ask instead they refunded my full money back. If they are showing there good customer service than we should appreciate them too so i request them to deduct cleaning fee which i am happy to pay $50. Thank you & will be back in future and I have already recommend my friends to hire car from No Birds

Check-in to collect car: Collected A$300 deposit even though had bought the $0 no fault insurance from them. During inspection of vehicle by myself, found dents and scratches, went to report back to office, staff cannot be bothered to record, just say take photos as evidence. Cleanliness: windows are dirty and with lots of stain marks. Roads in front of rental office was flooded, had to walk through the flood. Tolls: had to pay for tolls, not included in rental fees. Return of vehicle: Parked and went to office. There is a disclaimer that vehicle will undergo "thorough" check for damages, before deposit is refunded to renter.

We will never use this company again. No hidden fees is not correct as they charged us $500 as a hold and we were told it would be refunded and we did not get the refund. The service is terrible. The shuttle driver just stood there and told me that we could load our luggage in the back when we were ready and he was not the nicest guy either. We were told to fuel the car before returning which we did. We do not smoke and there was just the two of us so the car interior was extremely clean and no rubbish left in it. So no $500 refund which was not told to us until we went to pick up car. Worst rental care business ever.

0 STAR! THEY DONT DESERVE ANY STAR! Last January (2020) we hired a car and even bought fully cover insurance with the package together. We got accident and report to the company straight away. They said don't worry they will took care of it. We kept got calling from other insurance company said we own them money. We've called no bird so many times and thier answer always: "don't worry we will take care of it." Now we got other company call us and says we have debt. It will effect our credit record. Why we paid fully cover insurance and we still got debt? Such a unreliable company. NEVER HIRE THIER CAR AGAIN!

I've used your services quite a bit. Always going back as the location is great for me. However, after returning the car this time, I've been charged $40 for a sticker replacement (due to my son ripping the sticker off) they advised that that was considered "damaged". Missed the fine print on the terms and condition. The main lady that works there is extremely rude, after today. I will take my business else where, and will never come back. Charge for anything and everything and rude staff. Hurtz is much better, don't go to No Birds Mascot. VERY DISAPPOINTING EXERNINCE AND WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Last year I rented a car at Europcar, which had a dingy office, with an attendant who serviced us in a very rushed and impersonal manner. This year at No Birds was the complete opposite. The office and receiving area was spacious, very well lit and clean. While the attendant who serviced us was cheerful and helpful in offering a better car (hybrid at minimal additional cost and more efficient fuel consumption) without being too pushy. The van service taking us to and from the airport was just as helpful and friendly. They will have my business going forward whenever I'm in Sydney.

Must admit I had a bit of hesitation when I book No Birds but with the next ‘on airport’ agency $540 more expensive (over 8 days) I decided to go for it and I will have zero doubts in the future. A very straight forward mini-van pickup at the International, easy paperwork processing, a near new Corolla Hybrid, easy drop off and a quick mini-van ride back to the international terminal, saw a seamless rental process. Sure you have to pay $5 per mini-van ride and do a bit of vacuuming before you drop off the car, but to save over $500 compared to others…well worth it.

Cheap and easy rental. Used them a few times. But never again. Appalling staff, esp. the lady when returning a vehicle. If you dont have a straightforward hire, don't bother with them. Returned a car 4 days early, they sent me on my way- not a single person told me rates change and you dont get refunded. Make sure you chase up everything before leaving the branch, bc they 'can't help you once the hire is closed', which is as soon as they shove you out the door. They should introduce a self checkout bc that would show more customer service than any of the staff.

Their website is easy to navigate and book. Pricing is significantly better than the legacy car rental providers and the extras are transparently laid out. E.g. my 2 week rental in Dec was around $700. The same rental with other companies was over $1200 per week! The vehicles are basic, without frills. Our Toyota Corolla had no USB ports to charge phones. Extending the rental was simple and updated Rental Agreements were emailed through. I was pretty impressed with No Birds and will definitely use them again. Book in advance to access their best rates.

I rarely leave reviews on sites but I am thoroughly impressed with how smooth it was to rent a car here. I showed up to the Mascot branch without a booking as my previous arrangement had fallen through. Staff were very nice, application only took 5mins, and I was off. Rented the car for 5 days. No issues, efficient on gas for the amount of driving I did. Returned the car, shuttle driver was very friendly and helpful. Bond was returned into my bank account the next working day. Will definitely be using No Birds in the future

I thought this was a professional rental place, but after being scammed and lied to and used I am lost for words. Watch out for this place. I strongly recommend you use one of there competitors. I couldn't have had a better experience with No Birds Mascot! I had booked online while still overseas, arrived in Sydney a day later due to flight delays so called them to ask if I could pick up the car the following day. This was no problem at all and my missed day was not charged. Pick up of the car was seamless, quick and easy. I hired the Mitsubishi ASX, which was clean and almost new. Drop off was also easy, and my bond was refunded with no problems. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would hire from them again!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAD OVER THE PHONE. I made a call to enquire about the refund of the deposit after 4 business days from returning the vehicle with no accidenrs or traffic fines and instead of receiving an apology, i had to deal with a rude agent who seems to lack any sort of customer service skills skill to the extent that i had to warn him of hus unacceptable voice tone. This guy ruined the entire experience with your agency and for sure i am not going to be a returning customer.

Most professional and efficient rental car company to deal with. We called the office to see what rate I can get the rental car. Was served by the Manager Mr Sunil Mishra and within 5 minutes he sorted out what I wanted, which means he knows very very well about his job and means business. You hardly get these kind of experienced people in the market. Had the best return policy. Will always refer you to friends and families and will always use you if needed be. Great experience with No Birds! After arriving at the airport with no booking and seeing how expensive the rental prices were at the airport we decided to forget about it and use public transport instead. We then saw the NoBirds shuttle and saw that they were almost half the price of the other rentals. Quick taxi to the office and we were driving within 15 minutes. Easy drop off process and I had my deposit back before I was back on the shuttle! Great choice for P drivers too!

Recommend using car rental service at No Birds No Birds suggested better, not expensive alternatives. We did not rush to return the car and the price that included a shuttle to the airport. The service was very good both when picking up the car and sending the car back. It didn't take long and the staff were polite and helpful. Most importantly, the car was in good condition. Hired a outlander on Jun 22 and was very happy with the service. It is cheap compared to others and the cars were clean and well maintained. Specially the car seat facility they provide is awesome for travelling with Kids. A special shout out to Lum who was really patient and helpful if fitting the two car seats that we booked. He took care and tried different car seats to accommodate both adults and kids. Would be awesome if they have some 8 seater options as well!!!

We had such a great experience with the No Birds team at Mascot. It was such a smooth experience hiring a car through No Birds and can't thank the team enough (not to mentioned the actual car was also spotless and exceeded our expectations). Special mentions to the Brand manager Tanveer Mustafa who kindly Express posted back my drivers' license after I accidentally left it on the car. Hired a hybrid car, it was nice and tidy. They picked us up from airport and dropped off on time both times. I damaged the tyres by hitting a curb at 12am, the car was towed to my hotel, had to wait a couple hours for tow truck but no big deal as it was 12am. The next morning i informed no birds and they came within 30 minutes and fixed the car for me. I had the 0$ damage waiver so did not cost me anything. I would hire again from them? 100%!!

Such a great experience with No Birds. I landed with my toddler and the shuttle bus was so quick and easy, we were able to safely install the appropriate car seat (with assistance) and were shortly on the road. The car itself was in great condition, and our drop-off and return to the airport a week later couldn't have been smoother. A zero would be more accurate. They force people to pay a $2000 deposit unless they pay the damage waiver fee of $5 per day. If you pay this fee you only have to pay a $300 deposit. Considering over 95% of hires would be returned with no damage it is a very sneaky way to tricking people into paying unesseasary money and they are making a fortune off being sneaky. Stick to other rental company's.

Booked a Toyota RAV4 Hybrid a few weeks before arrival at SYD international airport on 26 Sep 2022 11am. Gave them a call and the shuttle arrived within 10 mins. It was a short 5 mins drive to the office. The verification and processing was efficiently done. Although I took the complete waiver package there was still a required deposit of $300. The car was clean and well maintained.

I really don’t know how people could fault the bunch of nice and professional people. When I arrived to process the vehicle really quick, I did complain to them about the vehicle smell a bit and immediately Desmond swapped vehicles for me. It was a very busy time and they did not take advantage during busy time. Very reasonable rate. No complaints and thanks guys you are awesome.

I've used the King's Cross location for a number of years, but the Mascot one is much more convenient. Same straightforward pickup and return process, with near new cars and great rates. Shuttle to the airport is $5 each way, but quick and easy so worth the extra cost. Not sure how people don't see the charges and details of the rentals, they're all pretty upfront and obvious.

No Birds made it so easy, the car was impeccably clean and new. The whole experience was one that I will be going back if I every need a hire car again. I had the car for a week. BTW great location for pick up and return - 180 William Street is so Central. I think this was one of the key factors in making the whole process smooth. Highly recommend No Birds Irene

They used to be a great company. I have waited 20 minutes for the airport shuttle while they stand around jibbering in their language. Just as we were about to leave, he stops and waits for another car return knowing my flight leaves in 50 minutes. Would not recommend the airport branch the city branch are AMAZING And have been since the 90's

We had a good experience with No Birds. We hired an ASX for four days with two baby seats. We found the price far cheaper than any competitor, the staff were very efficient and the airport collection was quick and easy. We had to install the baby seats but they had isofix and it was very easy, a staff member also helped us too.

Hired a Mitsubishi ASX for 6 days driving around NSW. The car was very clean in collection and we had no problems. Paperwork was simple with no hidden costs. The shuttle service also worked great. One of the staff, Dennis, was extra helpful in organising a speedy shuttle when we were running late - thanks!

Don't bother. These guys can't even cater to the normal people of the world. They require a digital licence and are rude about it when you tell them you don't have one. I personally had never heard of you before and I can see why. Good luck! P.s Hertz rents to people with a normal licence.

I regularly hire a No birds car when I visit my family in Australia. I have family in Sydney and Bowral and Bathurst and Port Stephens so have to cover a lot of country. The Cerato was clean and ran beautifully. I will always rent from them for good cars at a reasonable price.

Zero coordination between their offices. Booked mine at Mascot office and called to ask if it is at all possible to change the pickup at Kings Cross Was told fine but when I reached Kings Cross nothing is available. No sorry nothing from even when the Manager is called.

I’ve been to this Bayswater many times and they’re always friendly, easy to deal with, and always the best rates. I’m usually in a car and driving away in under 10 mins. Everyone who works here is lovely. I don’t understand how it has so many 1 star reviews!

Much cheaper than the major rental companies, even with paying the excess waiver, with airport pickup & drop off. The car was nice & new and was clean. Staff were friendly. Be warned though, you do have to undergo a credit check! Would rent from them again.

Rung me the day of collection to say they wouldn't rent me a car due to previous WA/NSW Government covid restrictions and outbreak in Mascot and we had to arrange towage to return car. Asked manager to put it in writing , refused , very poor service.

This was my second hire in two months. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the cars clean and as detailed. My only suggestion is that they change the PDF they send out as its format is difficult to read. Otherwise excellent company

Nothing but praise, close to airport with shuttle available for $5, good clean cars, very good rates. I returned mine 1 hour later than collect time (as booked), but this did not get a full or half day charge, only 1 hours worth.
