I went into Noah's Ark Pets at 11:20am this morning with my mother because I was looking to buy a Frenchie Puppy. I saw the puppies and I asked to have a hold and the girl said "you can only hold them if you're going to buy it". At that time, I thought to myself 'how can you buy a puppy without holding them and experiencing that connection'. That was the first giveaway that they are dodgy but I ignored it and kept pressing on, because I really wanted to purchase a puppy. Then I asked the girl "how much are the puppies?" She said to me "the purebreds are $3,900 but $3,500 if paid with cash but the Frenchie cross Pug is $2,500". I asked to see the cross dog so she took it out (which she was not happy doing... it was very evident on her face!) and held it and I patted the dog. Again, out of genuine interest, I asked "will you be providing any papers for the dog?" She said "no papers but they come vaccinated, checked and you get a discount with a vet if you want to de-sex the puppy". I asked her if I could hold the dog for a bit and she said "no, because they are not vaccinated", mind you... this was said whilst she was holding the dog. So I asked her "where are they bred?" She said to me 'there are bred in QLD and some here in NSW & we have a direct deal with the breeder and they drop it off here". So then I asked her again "so, no papers at all about the breeder information or history of the dog?" And she said "No, that's breeder confidentiality". I understand that they are a pet store and you can't expect much but the experience I had was shocking! I got only one word / one sentence answers from the teeny bopper who clearly did not know much about the dogs (because she had to ask the answeres to most of my questions from the other girl) and she seemed so uninterested in her job or helping me! I can understand kids or younger people coming in just to pet the dog and waste their time but that was not me! I write this review because I hope the store owner will read it and invest in educated staff who can 'read' their customer and identify genuine customers and their needs. As a customer & a genuine dog lover, am I really going to spend atleast $2,500 and not even get a chance to hold the puppy?!? Have a think about it! I work in customer service myself and I've been always told that if a customer takes time to write a compliment or a complaint, you've had a real impression on them. People don't take time out to write something like this for no reason! I hope this review helps others in making an informed decision & the feedback is taken onboard!

I am happy to write a review for Noah's Ark Pets, where I recently purchased a Moodle puppy two months ago. The experience was wonderful from start to finish. ought a frenchton ( French bulldog x Boston terrier ) There is really nothing wrong with the store, but i do believe if they payed more attention to the puppies when they are in the store, they would see that our puppy had congenital megaoesophagus. Due to not knowing this when we purchased him, 1 week later we found he was dealing with a lung infection and therefore he got pneumonia. When we asked the store to help us with the cost of the hospital (as we recently had purchased the puppy and pneumonia does not happen over night) they said they were not going to help because their policy only covers one week from date of purchase. When we asked why wasn't any blood test or x ray done on him, they answered it was because they would have to increase the cost of the dog and wasn't worth it ( and x rays are 300$ in our current vet and a blood test is 100$). Thank God our puppy is a fighter and did not give up, and came out of the hospital in very good condition, and the only thing we have to worry about is to feed him slowly and in an upright position. If you are going to buy a puppy here, just make sure you do as many tests as possible, so you don't suffer the way my partner and myself did. A STATEMENT TO THE OWNER: I WOULD RATHER PAY 1000$ EXTRA THAN TO SUFFER THE WAY I DID THE LAST WEEK BECAUSE YOU DIDNT WANT TO DO A SIMPLE X RAY OR A BLOOD TEST.

I bought a Chihuahua x Pug from Noah's Ark Pets in September. The puppies were kept in large clean secluded pens with plenty of bedding not the glass tanks you see in some pet stores and were only accessible by the store workers. I was expecting my puppy to be a bit nervous but she was so well socialised she was happy with me immediately. She is also fantastic with other dogs and children and had obviously been handled a lot. I do not believe this shop is supplied by puppy farms as the dogs are so content and not nervous at all. The staff also had full knowledge about the puppies parents and were very helpful. The puppy came vaccinated, microchipped and with heart worm and flea treatment and a further 3 month supply and with full details of any further vaccinations that would be required. They also include a large supply of the food the dog has been on to prevent any problems. I had problems a few months later trying to register my dogs microchip as I live in Victoria but one email to the store and they sorted it all out for me within 24 hours. Would 100% buy a dog from this store again....especially a Chihuahua!

Our local pet shop, so we visit frequently out of convenience. Have previously found the staff indifferent, but as we only visit every so often, didn't worry too much about it. Attended today at 11:06am to purchase a coat and new collar for our dog. Got home and realised the collar was faulty, so took it back just before 2pm, however all the collars had the same issue (sharp pointy bits in the collar that went into our pups neck - not the fault of the petshop, rather the manufacturer). They had nothing else in the correct size, so requested a refund, but were refused because we didn't have a receipt. I paid via credit card, and was asked if I wanted one, but declined as receipts are generally an unnecessary waste of paper. We were served by the same girl, so she knew who we were, and returned the item less than 3 hours after we purchased it. Now I'm stuck with a faulty $25 collar. I believe in supporting local business, but I am very disappointed and will now actively avoid this establishment.

I love this store. We were served by the lovely Jess who is a very hard worker and passionate about her job. Jess delivers exceptional care and had drawn me in from the first day and from the moment she showed me the animals best interest and well fair is their priority. She was extremely intuitive of our needs and allowed us to visit our newest member several times before coming home. I have had many pets throughout my life and this little girl has settled in so well- she trusted us because of the relationship we got to build with her prior to bringing her home. Jess took the time to prep her for us to take her home and accomodate to our needs to pick her up with a time that suited us. We are very grateful and appreciate the love, care and support. Purchased a beagalier puppy two years ago from here. Was really sceptical of buying from a pet shop after all I’ve heard about puppy mills. At the time I asked about puppy’s parents and breeder information and was given some story about the breeder but no paper work or anything in writing. Two years on and we love our little one but she has a terrible hereditary kidney disease that was passed down from her parents that’s costing us a tonne in vet fees and means she’ll live a much shorter life than usual. I urge anyone thinking of buying a puppy to check the paperwork on the breeder. Good genetics is a must if you don’t want to suffer the same heartbreak that we now live with. Selling designer dogs at high prices with no breeder paperwork should’ve sounded the alarm bells for me, but we figured she needed a home and someone would buy her if we didn’t. Now we’re paying the price.

Very authentic and genuinely care about animals - you can tell because my puppy is very well socialised and not afraid of any humans, also because they are affiliated with a reputable vet. They also care enough to answer all queries and give strict instructions on diet, vaccinations, chipping etc. Staff is very young, friendly and sweet. Their vet is okay - very intelligent and knows and loves animals well. She diagnosed and fixed a mite hair loss problem immediately and didn't complain when my little hairball weed all over her counter. She was a bit judgy about my question of if I should keep my pet but I feel if she knew I was dying and my mum had just died she would have been less harsh to me haha. My little Oliver has settled in quite nicely and is growing inches every day. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding NAP staff !

Devastating outcome from the purchase of my beautifully natured 15 week old Cavoodle, just 3 days ago. The shops' vet check was explained to me as a non-reactive hip matter. I was encouraged to seek a second opinion and paid out of pocket to check the shop's official vet report. My vet deemed this angel as having a grade two apex heart murmur (this was not on the official paperwork from the shop). In addition to this, when my vet examined pup, he was found to be reactive and had pain on forced extension which indicates possibility of hip dysplasia. I don't know if this was the negligence of the shop or their designated vet who completes the paperwork for their puppies' health checks. Regardless, this experience has brought much sadness.

Not happy at all my son and future daughter in-law bought a dashund about 5yrs Last year he was paralysed in his back legs apparently he should of had a genetic test done by the breeders and you should of given them papers to show he’d been tested we did with our dashund which we bought from a breeder which states he didn’t inherit the IVDD disease it has happened 4 times now every time the poor dog has to go in a crate for 12 weeks and they have to empty his bladder it costs them $15.000 for surgery and every time they have to take him to the vet I’ve never bought a puppy from you don’t know we’re they come from and way to expensive so not happy at all

I have now bought 2 puppies from Noah’s Ark in the span of 6 months and I have had a great experience both times! I have to shout out the owners and their staff member Jessica who is such a caring and lovely sales person. Noah’s ark has the cutest small breed puppies with the best temperaments. I feel so at ease having pics of their parents and (in both my dog’s cases) also being able to meet their siblings at the pet shop. I think they’re a pet shop with staff that really care and make an effort to give puppies a great life. I am also really pleased with their vets at Acacia Gardens! If I cave in and get a third puppy it will def be at Noah’s Ark!

We bought an adorable Frenchton from Noah's Ark. The staff were great and provided us with an info pack for him including his medication chart which was really helpful. He unfortunately had diarrhoea for a while but the staff were super supportive and arranged for stool testing and medication from their local vet without an additional costs until he was all clear. They even provided some medication for our second dog to ensure that he didnt pick anything up. We're so happy with our pup and were very appreciative of the post purchase support from Noah's Ark during a stressful time. Thanks guy, highly recommend.

Never buy from them. My beautiful natured boy who was Labradoodle died of seizures. He always suffered from anxiety and suddenly he started having seizures at the age of 2 year. We took to him vet again and again. We were about start his medication and he had one more deadly seizure. He started vomit full of blood and than we took him emergency where they inject him and he was struggling to breath . We were unable to see him go through all this pain and we said our final goodbye. We paid this greedy shop 4k for our angel. I wish he could live bit more I am heartbroken

Hello, just wanted to let people know! We got a great puppy who has epilepsy and the rarest skin disease (which is passend on from Its parents) not one vet has ever seen it in Canberra and it has cost me $$$$$ to keep him going not including the 7 pills a day for the rest of his life. We did send an email asking about it with a response saying “the parents of the dog are fine” which is highly surprising given the news from the vet saying that’s impossible. Don’t buy unless u want to put a dog through hell and put it down while dealing with lies and lots of lost money.

Very friendly place me and my mum has come here so many times but two pets we bought very recent I got one kitten and a very adorable puppy but separately we were looking for a kitten we went here first because this pet shop is very friendly and they are honest with the vet checks and stuff we found two kittens very adorable but got one and I also wanted a puppy at the time but wanted take things slow and we got a moodle puppy best pet shop in my opinion I will update review if one of the pets turn out sick but overall the best pet friendly shop from Emma!!!!!

I highly recommend this pet shop. All of their staffs are very friendly and amazing, especially Jessica who is very passionate with her job. She genuinely cares about our pet's needs and welfare. We loved her! Also, the owner, Simon is very nice. He never left us during those times we needed support and assistance with my sick Shih Tzu. What a great shop, went in yesterday for the first time after driving past for years, as i needed to get a new lead for my dog, and what a great place! They have plenty of stock and a variety of different product for cats, dogs, birds and even food for snakes. I was tempted to get another puppy while i was there with all the little cutie's looks up at me. The puppy area is clean and tidy with plenty of room for them to move around and play not like other pet shops i've been too. Would definatly recommend going in and taking a look. Great place.

I purchased a toy poodle and paid the premium price for it. I wish I had looked at the reviews beforehand. It was 9 years ago. I love my boy, but the fact that they sold me something different from what we initially agreed upon definitely ripped us off. I never thought I'd leave a review but when I came back I've seen them do it to other people which is just unfair. My dog outgrew a toy poodle and was a cross with a terrier. These guys lie to you about the breed, charge the premium price, we more people need to speak up about it!

I would like to rate Noah's art pet shop 4.5 stars if possible:) I bought a little pomeranian days ago, and unfortunately she was detected having a heart problem by my local vet doctor. We contacted the owner of the store, he felt very sad about what happened to the puppy and took full responsibility of the puppy. I returned her back and got refund. She is now back to her breeder and waiting for the surgery according to the staff who works there. I do think Noah's pet shop is a responsible pet store. We contacted

Went to buy a cavoodle close to closing time. Paid deposit but was told to come back another time to collect. Person in the shop told us that the puppy had health issues but all costs would be covered by the vet. When pressed further prior to collecting the store told us they wouldn't be paying for the fees and that all dogs but one in the litter have Health issues. Vet informed us the additional costs could be $1000. Lost $200 deposit as we wasn't told all the correct information at the start.

Received a very cold shoulder welcome the next time I came into store to look at pets after they knowingly sold us a defective puppy months earlier. As if you’d treat customers like that especially when they want to spend thousands in store (again). I shouldn’t have set foot back in that place but I had no hard feelings until my second visit just recently when I wasn’t greeted warmly and could tell the owner didn’t want to look at me or speak to me.. what the hell....

This pet is a hidden treasure.. Incredibly the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable they provide topnotch services. Very impressive variety of pets available there. All pets in the shop are looked after very well. They have a good price pets, they have pets from good breeds. All pets have been checked by vet very carefully. The shop is clean, well organized and their commitment to animal welfare is commendable. Please don't miss out on this gem of a pet shop.

Our new family member was bought from here, and Kylie the store owner, whose passion is for animals, keeps the store quaint and cosy. The puppies are loud, boisterous and energetic which was a far comparison to other stores that we went to earlier. So it was without hesitation that we decided to attain our puppy from there. As can be seen in these photos, it's been a decision that we've enjoyed ever since.

Got my lil pooch from these guys in September.. the staff was extremely helpful and honest. They never got tired answering my questions. Though price for the puppy was way too higher.. or may be its just the covid thing.. Unethical business model. Started advertising the puppies for $3500 or less than $4000. And as the lock down got extended, they changed the price for same puppy in a week time to $6000 and $6500. Getting more out of customer using the situation is not decent business practice. Sell the product for actual value and be a good local business and nourish in the community.

Do not support these people. They get their puppies delivered from puppy farms in QLD and NSW at a cheap price and sell them for a HUGE profit. No regard whatsoever for the deplorable conditions the puppy has come from, not to mention its poor mother stuck in a concrete box forced to have litter after litter. They just see the DOLLAR SIGNS. Spent $5,500 on a “purebred” that came with no papers and “picture of parents” but it’s evident now at 6 months of age that this beagle is absolutely NOT a purebred. Absolute scam. New owners just continue the puppy farm business that the previous owners started. Wish I didn’t buy from here. Love my dog, but what the pet shop have done is intentionally deceiving.

Staff were so lovely and helpful, gave me and my partner so much time and information and went out of their way to show us the puppies get checks and brought one of the puppies out for my partner and I to have a look at! I forgot to grab the name of the staff member who helped us but the young girl was so beautiful and we appreciated her time very much!

Bought a puppy which I was told was a Dachshund x Chihuahua and given photos of the "parents". Judging by the fact that he's now the size of a whippet, that was clearly a lie. Not to mention the genetic tests proving he's got nether breed in him.. On top of all that, he was extremely underweight and had a broken tooth when we took him home. Be cautious.

Went to the store after driving one hour. Wanted to buy a puppy at 5.15 pm - The lady told us paperwork takes 20 min and the shop closes at 5.30 so she can't sell us the dog. She wants us to come back tomorrow. LOL - In the category of "I don't care about customer", this shop is on top! We will definitely not come back tomorrow!

All pets in shop are looked after really well. Initially I would like to hold a puppy which hasn’t been fully vaccinated. The lady explained to me very politely about the risk to the puppy if we did that. Totally understand and respect why they are doing that. We were still able to touch the puppy after hands sanitised.

I got my amazing little pupper almost 4 years ago from this place. I'm a little sceptical about buying from pet stores, but these guys proved they were a family run business and had the interest of the animals above the profits. Bought a miniature pomeranian 2 years ago and was told it would only grow to be 2 kilos. Not only that but when we took the puppy to the vet after purchase we discovered he had mange a fungal skin infection and hip displacia. Dog is now 8 kilos. Beware.

They always check with breeders about how many adult dogs they have and dogs living environments. Their puppies are only from small breeders in such way they believe puppies could be well looked after and socialised with breeders family.

Staffs are super friendly, your question will never go unanswered, plenty of cavoodle and small number of shih zhu and pugs, super cute, have to say. They currently have one cat, fighting fishes and budgees for sale. Reasonably priced.

This place steals peoples pets and takes them to the pound even when offered proof that the pet is owned and loved! will never shop here and will tell every single person I know to never shop here! This place has no compassion at all!!

Their puppies are really socialised very well. I bought my Jack Russell Bob from Noah’s Ark. Bob has already got some toilet training. He can run and play with my young kids the whole day. Kindest care about customers and their pets

I have visited this pet shop at lunchtime today as I work nearby. I would like to buy a pet from here. Most of their puppies are in open top and large size pens for puppies run and play. I would come back to buy a puppy next month.

I bought a Cockalier from Noah’s Ark Pets. The lady told me they have zero tolerance of puppy farm. They are always check breeders background and their animals living environments seriously. I would highly recommend this pet shop.

Kittens at the age of a maximum 5 weeks put on show with older kittens. These kittens still need their mother! The older kitten also shows signs of separation issues. Not only that, the place STINKS. Not impressed at all.

Not what I was expecting. Small store with not much. A few puppies, birds and fish. All I wanted was pet food. None of that there. Plenty of staff on. But not alot of selection if any. That's the reason for my score.

Puppies kept like factory, not allowed to hold them at all, extremely rude staff - not recommended. We got our pet from Tails r wagging instead - that was 10x better than this place, and so much kinder to pets.

Team is lovely every time we have been in there, Prices are higher partner purchased a puppy while ago . Was supposed to be max 25kg as an adult. He is now 50kg and definitely not a small or midsized dog.
