During my recent visit to the farm, I had a bit of a mixed experience. The farm itself seemed like a great place for kids with its lively atmosphere and various activities. The kids were clearly having a blast, and that’s always a positive. However, I must say that there was a notable downside to the visit. One of the staff members, a lady, seemed to have an off-putting attitude. The way she talked to us was a bit rude and left me feeling uncomfortable. What was more concerning was the lack of staff around. We had trouble finding someone to help us out or guide us, and we weren’t even sure where to pay for the entry. Who would’ve thought that the payment should be made at a butcher counter? When the lady approached us. She made multiple mentions of having seen us on the CCTV cameras while we were trying to navigate the place. The manner in which she did so was quite condescending, almost making us feel like we were being treated as if we’d done something wrong. It left me feeling perplexed and a bit uneasy. All in all, while the farm itself was a fun place for kids, the encounter with the staff member did put a damper on the experience. The lady at the butcher counter was helpful and polite.
A fantastic place to visit, especially with children. The animals are adorable, the white Nanny Goat. Is my Granddaughters favourite. Along with the pygmy Goats and the new miniature white ponies. There are also Wallabys, Donkeys, Vietnamese pot bellied pigs as well as ordinary pigs. There are lots of ducks, geese and very noisy, but stunning Cockeral. Not forgetting the llama. The shop sells bags of various food, for the animals. Very reasonable at 50p a bag. There are some picnic tables, a small outdoor play area. Plus in case of rain there is an indoor play area. With plenty of tables and chairs. You can bring your own lunchbox. They have a fantastic butchers. I can highly recommended the Black pepper sausage as well as the pork sausage. If you fancy a coffee, there's a well stocked fancy coffee maker. Along with tea or Hot Chocolate. It also stocks locally produced biscuits, cakes and juice. Admittance to animals is free, the indoor play is a £1. There is also a fishing lake.
Our family day out at the animal feeding farm was a memorable adventure that we won't soon forget. The highlight was undoubtedly the hands-on experience of feeding the various animals, from goats and rabbits to other friendly creatures. The farm provided a natural environment where we could explore at our own pace, and the lack of staff interaction allowed us a more personal and intimate connection with the animals. Seeing my daughter's pure delight as she interacted with the animals was heartwarming. While we were left to our own devices, it only added to the authentic and free-spirited atmosphere of the place. A must-visit for those looking to create unique and lasting family memories.
Young lady who you go to to pay to see the animals was really rude. Complaining if she had to move to grab card machine etc. She really didn’t want to be there. The animals are happy so that’s amazing, it’s a shame they didn’t use the animals as livestock as they could make a ton of money here if they were a sanctuary and alot of people would volunteer. I loved seeing the animals. Great for families but once again, these animals being constantly fed every two minutes is a clever way of getting them to approach you and for the kiddies, compared to a normal cow, goat etc i wonder how much they’re overeating? (That is just a question not an argument)
We were regular customers, but on Sunday, we were told to leave the premises after sitting in the outdoor dining area with our well behaved, on lead dog. We were told dogs were not allowed to be anywhere on site for the safety of the farm animals. I called and discussed this with the manager today, but i was met with a lack of interest. I was told this is policy, even though there is no sign suggesting this. Feel quite let down by the experience, and will not be returning. Its even more surprising considering there are fields which can be rented out for dog walking on site. If you do chose to go, don't take your dog, they are not welcome.
Came for a visit today with my 8month old daughter as she loves animals. We walked round the animals which was £1 each but was quite surprised to then find we had to pay £2 for my daughter to go in the play area, even though she was too small to play on anything and usually things like this aren’t as expensive for under 1’s for this reason, and the one thing that she could play on was the rocking horse which was broken didn’t have any handles on which is extremely dangerous!! We also noticed that one of the small tractors the steering wheel was hanging off!! Very disappointing and not worth the money!
Great little farm. Not too expensive to enter either the farm or the indoor play area. Entry to the farm got us a bag of animal feed too. It was more suitable for children able to walk on their own for feeding the animals and for the indoor play. However, everywhere was fine for a pram. Most of the farm was outside of course so not ideal for a rainy day but the indoor play area had lots of space. Only downside to one of our visits was the food we bought from the farm shop which quickly went off
Although we only visited to see the animals we did pop into the shop. Not a great deal of choice of non meat items but everything was clean, looked well looked after and social distancing requirements were in place. The animal area is very good. All the animals looked very healthy and happy and were in good condition. Lots of space to move around and a clearly marked out route. Will definitely go again. No need to pre - book, £1 per adult and £1 per child which includes a bag of animal food.
Been there lots of times the animals are great! But annoying that if you buy anything with a card it has to be over £5, im sure in a place this big this is outdated! We took our granddaughter in the play room. In the sand pit area most of thebuckets were broke, t sand needed racking there were bits of plastic which could be dangerous to small children. Some of the bigger toys were broken also. The chalk for the black boards were all in bits! Its a great place but could be better!!
This is a really nice farm. Seems really clean compared to others we have been to. There is a indoor soft play area that encompasses a large sand pit. It also has large chalk boards on the walls so the kids can draw. Animals include pigs, sheep, goats, ponies, alpacas, donkeys, chickens, rabbits, ducks and some other crazy looking bird things. Entry to the farm is 50p per child and £1 per adult. The play area is just £2 per child and there is no time limit. Will deffo go again.
We took our 2 year old to this farm and he absolutely loved it. We spent a total of 1.5 hours here. Staff are super friendly. We fed the animals and then he played in the indoor play area before having some lunch. The ONLY downside for us was that there were no vegan foos options, my little one has allergies. But this is usually an issue at most farm shops/cafes. Just something to be aware of so you can take ur own snacks if needed. We will definitely be visiting again.
A fantastic day at None Go Bye Farm today. My first visit here and the girl in the farm shop was so helpful explaining the rules of play in the play area and sand pit which was a hit with my grandson. We had lunch in the picnic area and then went around the "meet the animals" singing Old McDonald all the way round. The new litter of piglets were the favourite of Frey's. Highly recommend this Farm. Free to walk round and just £2.00 for the play area.
Great little fishing spot. Plenty of variety in terms of what species you can catch. I even caught a little catfish on prawn this summer! Good parking availability, reasonable day ticket price and farm shop has a good selection in case you get peckish. Only mild criticism is the ongoing construction of a new pond makes the place look less picturesque, however, it obviously means more choice for fishing in the near future!
Quaint little farm for the tiny ones to get to know the animals but apparently as of 18.6.18 they'll be charging £1 per adult and 50p pet kid which includes one bag of animal food. There's a small play area for the kids which is £2 each child. There's also a fishing pond which has a charge too. There's no cafe for hot food, just a fridge with cold sandwiches and a hot drinks machine at £1.40. There's also a farm shop too.
I don't understand how there are so many good reviews! The farm shop had barely anything in it, signs about the animals were dated 2020 and clearly not correct for what was there currently. Staff in the farm shop were rude and very unhelpful. Hardly any animals there to see, walked round in about 20 minutes. No cafe there, just a coffee machine. There are far better farm park type places out there!
Not a very nice place. The whole place looks abandoned, the fishing ponds are either dark brown or a vivid green, a very amateurish job, they state they have a farm shop, there meat counter is completely empty, they state they have a cafe, what they mean is they have a coffee machine. Definitely not somewhere to go with the family. A shame because it could be a nice place.
None Go Bye Farm is a great local farm and farm shop, the shop sells everything from cakes to sausages and has a buchers inside. There is also an indoor play area. To visit the animals it costs £1pp and includes animal feed. It takes approximately 29 minutes to go round the farm stopping to feed the farmyard animals. There is also fishing ponds at the bottom of the farm.
It costs £1 per adult or child to visit the animals, that includes a bag of either animal or chicken food for each child. It's a lovely clean and well maintained farm, and an easy way to occupy the kids for an hour or so. We have been several times now and the kids love it. There are some piglets too at the moment. You can also book to walk the goats
Visited none go bye farm to see the animals. For the price you pay this was really good! It is £1 per person and children get a pack of animal feed to take round and feed the animals, we spent about an hour here seeing all the animals and had a really good time and would recommend to anyone! Especially good for a visit with children that like animals!
Great trip out for the kids with lots of animals to see from hens, ducks, sheep, goats, llamas, donkeys and cows. Great little farm shop too. Very cheap, only £1 per person entry which includes a bag of food for the animals. Great clean environment and well looked after animals. Only thing missing is traditional ice cream …
Fantastic farm and shop. Used to be free to see the lamas and other animals but now it's £1 per person, and if you want to feed the animals, you can purchase the suitable food from the shop for 50p. There's an outdoor picnic area and an indoor play area with play sand etc. Would revisit again, worth the little entry fee …
Great place to take under 5's rain or shine. My 3 yr old grandson loves it. If it's fine pay to feed the animals and wander round their pens . If it's raining go to the small indoor play area with ride on tractors, climbing frames and large sandpit. Farm shop has a good selection of fresh meat and some vegetables.
Just went goat walking with the wife and kiddies was very fun. The goats are very friendly and used to humans. Walking them is funny they just want to eat everything then run off dragging whichever person or child is holding their lead. Something different. We had a blast. Then went and fed the other farm animals.
We took our grandsughter aged 18 months and she enjoyed it as it is for the younger end. Indoor play area is quite small, farm shop had very little in it and then the farm animal trail was not too bad but pretty much every field had the same mix of goat / sheep / lamas.... but when you're young it's an adventure.
Bought our Christmas tree here. The smell of the trees were very inviting. The staff were very friendly and assisted us quickly. The trees were great quality. We've been here prior for the walk around the animals. My daughters loved feeding the sheep. Prices are great here. Can get a lot for your money.
My grandson and I spent a wonderful afternoon at the farm. He enjoyed the outside section and was so excited to get up close to a variety of animals and also to feed the hens. The inside section added to his excitement . He loved the little tractor and trailer and played in the sandpit for ages.
Cracking place to take the kids for a farm experience, and a good little farm shop too. Can highly recommend this place if you want somewhere for little ones to wander around for an hour feeding animals and being delighted by the antics of chickens. Even my 8yo still loves it!
We love it here! A simple farm , you can buy animal feed from farm shop for kids to feed the goats , llamas , ducks , geese , donkeys etc.. Inside farm shop a small play area with sand pit and a few ride on tractors. The Gluten Free sausages from farm shop are lovely xx
I just go there for the fishing its a fantastic venue 3 lakes small 1 just for kids 2 main lakes for adults the farm is a petting farm we're you can pet animals and take them for walks I think you have to pay to walk the animals its a great idea and lots of people go
We visited the farm this morning with my grandchildren aged 8 & 11. They did the Easter Trail which they enjoyed & then went around to feed the all the animals & look in on the the baby lambs. We thought it very reasonably priced & we had a really lovely morning.
This is such a nice place. The farm shop is pretty good. Then there’s guinea pigs and hens there. Then down to the fishing lakes, I can’t take into account my fishing as I’m not good but it’s a great setting and we’ve caught a few small fish between us.
Nice animals , well kept clean farm. Was really disappointed with the racism we faced, the white people were given about 2 minutes each to carry a baby goat, we were given less than 30 seconds. Ruined my visit. Don't recommend if you're not white.
Love this place!. We took our 2yr old and it was just enough for her walking around all the wonderful animals. We spent some time in the play area. Nice shop, lovely staff and good entry price. Great feeding the sheep. Defo coming back …
Lovely place! For a farm it's surprisingly clean, and the shop has a wonderful array of various bits a pieces, including a variety of jams you've never even heard of! Also, the goats are great, and they love a good scratch behind the ear!
abaolutely love this place. We come here from Harrogate with 2 kids aged 3 and 5. They love the play area and the animals...we love the cheap tea and cakes at the farm shop, cheap entry and free parking. Works for all.
Superb place to bring young kids, Get up close to animals, Feed the chickens. Nice farm shop. Large indoor play area with tables for parents. Can get a little busy at the tills. Very nice little farm shop.
Lovely little farm. Kids had great fun feeding the animals, decent variety and loads of them too. Food looks nice as well. Cheap entry and you get a bag of feed for the animals. Definitely recommend it!
Great trip out for a couple of hours. Lots of animals to see, nice little farm shop too. £1 per person / children which includes a bag of food for the animals. Looking forward to the soft play opening.
This is a lovely place to visit with children. Good price to walk around the farm and feed the animals. Hand washing facilities provided outdoors which was helpful. There is an indoor play area too
All in all was a great afternoon for the little boy who is 18 months, where you could feed and pat the animals, however; what was an disappointment was the indoor play area was closed.
Friendly tame animals that happily and gently feed from your hands, the kids absolutely loved it! And amazing value with a lovely farm shop. I'm told the fishing lakes are great too.
Lovely little farm! Animals to see which is free but you can purchase animal feed at 50p a bag! Indoor play area (£2 per child) with some little tykes cars, small slides & a sandpit!
1st time here with family. Lovely to watch my wife, daughter and granddaughter feeding the animals. Was able to use picnic area in the glorious sunshine! Will definitely come again.
Went with my daughter. Great place to go see and feed the animals. The shop was just as good too. We will definitely go visit again and hopefully book the goat walking next time.
We took our 2 year old here to see the animals she loved it just right size to keep her attention for the age. Great fun feeding the animals would recommend for a few hours out
Lovely place to visit. Most importantly, the animals looked really well cared for and seemed very comfortable interacting with people, with plenty of grazing space and shelter.
Lovely place kids get to feed the animals only £1.00 in and you get a bag of animal feed each there are pigs, sheep alpacas, pony's, donkeys etc farm produce and a picnic area.
Such a lovely farm. Loads of different animals and so friendly. Had the best time at this farm, just so many to see. Shop little but lovely too. Will be back again soon
Lovely little place. Kids loved the animals but a little disappointed with the fishing more crayfish than anything else but that said he did have a nice little carp.
The little ones love it. A fairly basic indoor play area with sandpit but a good selection of animals to see and feed. Lots of yummy goodies in the farm shop too.
Friendly staff in the shop, cheap entry, lots of animals to see and feed outside and inside, things to buy, picnic area. Good as a afternoon out for few hours.
Went in the morning for the goat walk which made for an enjoyable day. Staff were great, just a nice place to go. Will bring the rest of the family next time
Great little half day out with little ones. So cheap and you get to feed the animals. My little ones love it! Sweet little play barn inside too for under 4s.
Went pumpkin picking with my daughter. Had a tractor ride to the field it was brilliant. We didn't have time to look at the animals our pumpkins were to big
Just taken our 5 month old girl and she loved it!! So did we! Not masses of animals but its well worth the price and we shall be repeat visitors for sure.
Great place for fishing but need to open more ponds up for the under 16s. There's 1 pond they can use and it's always busy so it's hard finding space.
Kids loved the junior fishing pond and I enjoyed watching them enjoying themselves and catching a good number of fish definitely recommend going again
We had a fab time goat walking and then we got to cuddle the babies who were adorable! There's lots of animals to look at and a lovely farm shop too.
Lovely family run farm and indoor area, pigs Alpacas, Goats and Donkeys. Big enough to enjoy a little trip out unlike some smaller ones in the area.
Goos place, farms shop was practically empty when I went. No meats, pasties just a few pre packeted sandwiches. Animals are great, super friendly.
Good place to take children of all ages to see and feed the animals. Also, indoor play and a farmshop. Fishing pondsat the back of the carpark.
Lovely little farm to visit, costs £1 per person to go in then you can buy bags of food for an additional £1. Plenty of animals to see
Brilliant little place with a nice walk around bit the animals are friendly and the price covers feed which is great for young ones
Great place for kids. Lovely set of animals of different types for the kids to enjoy feeding. And a lovely play area inside too.
Great value for money, perfect for little ones as it's not to big, shop seemed a little low on stock, bat all lovely quality.
Nice Little Getaway Farm to take the kids when they are bored ( me also ) & it's so local and the food is also good
Great little place, great food and so much fun feeding the animals. Animal feed is 50p a bag from the farm shop.
So cute and worth the money! Make sure if you have young children ask about the tractor ride! My kids loved it.
Plenty to see and do ,relaxed walk around the animals, play area for the kids..grab a coffee while they play.
Great place for the kids to see animals. Very clean with hand washing facilities for after feeding animals.
Great place to go, loved feeding the animals and my granddaughter loved it ... definitely worth a visit .
Lovely farm to visit with little ones, very tidy, well looked after animals and the shop is lovely.
