I drove from Memphis to Nashville & I was just racially profiled while attempting to return a 3200.00 YSL handbag today! Upon entering the establishment we saw a nice lady who was starting the return process on this transaction and she was immediately told by a white guy with glasses to hold on he’s getting a manager (I’ve shopped at this place numerous of times Nashville, Atlanta and Houston) this has NEVER happened before. The short interim manager came and stated that she needed to get the manager of the department who was short and wore glasses. She states this has been worn and has a small scratch here and there, (the bag was in top tier condition.) Initially she states there’s nothing she can do, once we didn’t go for that She states she can switch it out for a new bag or offer a store credit… what’s the difference in me getting my money, I had a copy of the original receipt on my phone and she asked did I have the hard copy with me… (don’t know why I had to go through that when all you had to do was scan the photo) I actually did have the hard copy but it was faded…meanwhile my husband is on the phone with corporate and they told him they don’t know why I’m being treated like this… we argued back and forth about the condition of the bag and I stated that I only wore it once and it didn’t give what it was suppose to give… we ask for the store manager because it’s obvious the department head can’t rectify the situation. She states she’s off today, we proceeded to ask for the MOD she walks off for 5 minutes then returned with Jennifer the MOD… she’s actually an angel who returned my 3200.00 to my card without hesitation and deserves to be awarded. I felt embarrassed and humiliated by the Accessory manager with glasses and she needs to be written up or fired…immediately!

I wish I could give this store a 0-star review but one star is the minimum. I had an awfully painful experience in-store today, June 10.  I purchased a pair of Gucci shoes on size 39 on Sunday, June 05. I did not try them on in-store because they are my second pair (I bought the same shoes recently on a different color). When I got home, I tried them on and noticed they fit bigger than my other pair. And there were some dirt on the shoes so I figured they were probably the display. I would have kept them but the main issue was that the fit wasn’t right. The size printed on the box was 39 but there were no size printed on the soles of the shoes. When I looked inside of the shoes, I found the size imprinted and they were size 40. I went back to the store to get the correct size, and the associate accused me of having worn the shoes, which are not even my size. I told her that her accusation was unfair and inaccurate. She replied that she wasn’t going to help me if I had an attitude but she was the only one with an attitude, and a very bad one. After 30 minutes or so of embarrassment, somebody came out and told me they were going to take care of me. That’s the minimum I’d expect. I traveled 45 min (each way) to get to the store for something that should have never happened. By the way, even if I had worn the shoes, which I didn’t, Nordstrom return and exchange policy has always been on the side of making the customer happy. I am so disappointed at the subpar experience I had at the store. I will no longer shop at my only local Nordstrom store. And as much as I love Nordstrom, I will be spreading the word to my friends and family and even BBB because I am so disappointed and I feel so disrespected and unappreciated as a customer.

I have been a Nordstrom Cardholder for several years. I have never had any issues with the store in Green Hills mall at Nashville, TN until last Wednesday Sept 20th at 11:12am. I had placed an order online the weekend before and this specific day, I went to pick it up. I approached the counter and this older lady, Pamela D, already showed some attitude towards me. I showed her the code on my online order so she went to get the product. When she came back, I told her that unfortunately I had changed my mind and I would like to return it… her answer was “I wish I would have known that before now!” I was shocked by her rude response and did not expect that kind of answer, especially from someone who works in a high end store. I’m sure they get a lot of training in how to give the best customer service. I didn’t respond but as soon as she was done with my return, I went to another counter and complained about her. This other girl took my name and phone number and promised me to take the complaint to a manager and someone was supposed to call me back… nobody did. I hope this woman gets some kind of reprimand because she can not keep treating people rudely and expect us as customers to take it. I love Nordstrom, and I can’t imagine why I got this treatment! I am not sure that I will return to this Nordstrom again, as it is a 2 1/2 hour drive from my home. Very sad experience!

I’m a Nordstrom card holder and it’s always been my department store of preference. However, the staff at this location is absolutely dreadful. No customer service whatsoever. I came in to grab a pick up order that I placed online. Upon walking in, there was a man in the women’s designer shoe section that stared me up and down. I’ve never felt so judged in my life. There was no greeting- just a cold stare- so odd. I then asked another employee where the pick up area was. She scoffed and rudely directed me downstairs. Upon getting to the pick up section, the line was extremely long. One of the employees was pleasant and working hard to get orders in customer hands. The other employee was simply standing there. After getting my order, I decided I’d attempt to do some shopping in hopes that I’d get some assistance. I went to the women’s contemporary section to browse the staud selection. There were 3 salesgirls. Not one acknowledged me. They were caught up in their own conversation about the Barbie movie. I decided to leave and cancel my Nordstrom card. Customer service at Nordstrom seems to be no longer which is so sad. Come to green hills Nordstrom if you like feeling ignored!

Throughout my young adulthood, I spent over 20 years at the Nordstrom stores at UTC in La Jolla, Horton Plaza, and South Coast Plaza in Southern California. The stores were all so elegant and lovely that it was a real occasion to shop there. The sales people were consistently well mannered, courteous and interested in being of service. I felt very spoiled. Everything was delightfully decorated with the staff so beautifully coiffed and dressed. The expectations from management were high, and it showed. Well, while I have gotten older sensibilities have obviously changed because the Nordstrom’s that we visited at the Greenhills Mall was such a serious downgrade from my memories. Staffing was sparse even on a Saturday afternoon.The appearance of the salesman in the men’s shoe department couldn’t have been more inappropriate. Frankly, it felt very disrespectful, And the rank disinterest was notable. Clearly, he was just there to clock in and out for a paycheck. Sad. I won’t be going back.. I’d rather shop online.

I wanted to leave a good word on Felicia, the lady who was working the Tom Ford counter, she was amazing. I came in earlier today after noon to look for a new summer scent. Right away she recommended me a scent and I loved it and purchased it. The whole interaction was lovely and she was very kind. It is hard to get good service at Green Hills as a young woman as most people try to serve more adults to receive more commission. But she treated us amazing which is why I felt bad that I had to return the perfume. Unfortunately, the perfume did not smell the same once I opened it as I got home. I was able to return it and she was still very helpful and kind to us. I will be returning back and purchasing in the future because of her and with her! I got her name from the receipt but if that is not her name I apologize! Either way, she’s awesome and kind!

I am not one to write reviews and this is mostly so someone at Nordstrom sees this in an effort to improve their customer service - I placed an online order that I didn't realize was going to take 10+ days to get to the store so when it arrived - I had call and asked if someone could process my return. My first woman had somewhat rudely, told me that she would take care of it. I never got a confirmation email or a call back to confirm. I called back and someone said again, they would take care of it. It wasn't until a full week later that I received an email that my return has automatically been processed. This is more of an ability to manage expectations; if you can't process returns, just be honest. Many people would appreciate knowing that their refund of 200+ dollars is on the way back to them.

The store used to be a top notch experience. I’m from Seattle, Nordstrom’s headquarters, so this is really upsetting. The last few months it’s a disaster. Nobody is in the store to help you. Those that are are just untrained and lazy. One clerk told me she was quitting because they scheduled two people for the whole mens department “these days”. Curbside pickup is no longer even a legitimate service. I sat at curbside today for 45 minutes while they looked for my order. Until I called a manager nobody even bothered to come out or call me. The last 3 times I did curbside was bad but this is really the final straw. Saks fulfillment center is 45m away. I’ll take one day shipping from Saks. Done with Nordstrom.

Strange encounter at this Nordstrom. I went in to buy a dress for an event that I needed that day. Went in for a particular dress and noticed it had a very small rip in the back of the dress. A store associate, Cassandra, went to check the back for the dress. She said they had no more. I told her no worries, I’d still buy the dress if they discounted it since the rip was small and I needed it for an event that night. She refused to sell me the dress. She was rude and cold. She even called a manager to see if she could sell me the dress and the manager said yes. I said ok so you’re going to discount it right? She said no I won’t. That employee made for a horrible Nordstrom experience by making her own rules.

The shoe dept manager is rude and condescending. I tried to return a pair of Hoka sneakers that I had worn once outside the house - turns out they were incredibly narrow and squeezed my feet (something you could only tell if you wore them?). I looked up Nordstrom's return policy which stated I could return worn shoes. The manager refused to make a return in a very rude manner. I stepped out and called up Nordstrom's customer service to confirm their shoe return policy. The representative assured me that I should have been able to make the return. I went back to a different service desk and made the return. Please be consistent in your policies and at least treat customers with some decency.

Sucks I don’t remember the 3 associates that help my family but they delivered great customer service and I don’t think it could’ve got any better than it was. They took initiative into helping my son find the right shoe and size for his birthday and he left out with a smile from ear to ear! Even one guy recommended a sweater to match the shoes and put it away for us to gone back and get the next day. Also, they made fire to guide us in the right direction and area of the store to find what we wanted instead of just pointing and giving verbal directions for us to find ourselves! Great job on choosing the right candidates for this store! We will most definitely become regulars! Thank you!

As a previous retail manager of 10 years, I will always rank amazing customer service as my most important shopping factor. With that said, Nordstrom in Green Hills has an absolute rockstar working for them. Her name is Samira (apologize if I misspelled) she is the David Yurman specialist, she focuses on building relationships with guests and because of that I will continue to keep coming back to this Nordstrom because of their incredible people and culture. btw, thank you Samira for helping my fiance recently with my new David Yurman wedding band. She felt welcomed and special right away with your help.

Great customer service! When I arrived through the door, I was greeted by a well dressed shoe salesman by the name of Lake. He directed me towards the area I inquired about. The Security Guards made me feel safe. They were very professional. The store smelled fresh and clean. I arrived at the hat area and had the pleasure to be served by Michelle. She was helpful in my selection of hats I highly recommend shopping at Nordstrom for your elegant and casual affairs. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars to Nordstrom is due to parking. Shop early and you might find better parking accessibility.

Very weird experience at the Green Hills Nordstrom. First I was trying on something in the women's department and my legs are clearly showing and a sales associate tried to use the key to come in. Then I venture on downstairs to the Tom Ford fragrance section with questions and the sales associate was so rude. When i was speaking to him, he interrupted me to talk to white customers who were walking by. When I decided I wasn't buying anything, I said thank you and he purposely ignored me. Weird shopping experience, I wish there were more nordstroms for me to shop at.

Customer service on Sunday was little to non! I had a return and asked a sales associate at YSL where I needed to return an item. She told me that I could return an item at any register, but then asked if it was ladies clothing I needed to go upstairs. I then proceeded to reiterate that she had just told me any register could accommodate me and I had just brought a stroller down the elevator and I didn't really want to go back upstairs. She did the return but didn't do it eagerly! Customer service is dead!

On May 16, 2022 the day of my first grandson high school graduation my daughter, granddaughter, daughter in love and I visited Jo Malone perfume counter. We had a wonderful encounter with Autumn. She was so kind and knowledgeable of each scent. The expertise of the blending each scent to the individual left us feeling excited and special! We left with a smile and a perfect perfume for graduation, needless to say 5 of 7 people were wearing Jo Malone. Oh yeah Autumn assisted in a scent for my husband too.

This Nordstrom location is solid! All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They even let me try on Creed Adventis on while I shopped around the store. I had a harbor jacket tailored hear and their was one loose thread so I brought it back. The staff was super helpful and happy to fix promptly. Attached is a photo of me in the jacket before and after it was tailored. I had no idea you can tailor puffer jackets and it's amazing! Highly recommend it!

In the cosmetics department... the employees there LOVE their jobs. They exude excitement about the products they sell which made our shopping experience the best ever. I had an item shipped to my home. Not only did I get my item, I got a treasure trove of amazing samples. There's nothing more fun than receiving more than you expected. I felt like it was my birthday but moreso I am appreciative of the fact that were thankful for my purchase.

Very good shopping experience here (1st timer), and it went well! Nice clothing selection (mens) and I also stopped in the men's fragrance area and was helped by a young lady (Asia) and was very helpful and equally knowledgeable of her job! I was just in the dressing room waiting for the seamstress(for alterations) or to speak with someone who could help me and the 2 workers that were right in front of me walked right in front/pass me and didn’t acknowledge me or asked if I needed any help! Horrible customer service. Decided to go elsewhere. This wasn’t my first time getting alterations done at this location but it’ll definitely be my last! Thanks for nothing!

Did a site to store, without instructions on where to pick up from, waited 10 minutes for a cashier and customer in the shoes department to finish talking about a trip to Disney, to be redirected downstairs to wait again, for a shoes pickup. No distinction in the email confirmation or in the store, seems having a sign at the entrance might be too much like right. Staff was nice once you got someone so there’s that.

What does a woman have to do to buy a pair of expensive shoes? There were 3 shoe sales people at the register and hardly anyone in the shoe section. I wandered around and around looking at shoes, picking them up, carrying one around. No one ever asked if I needed to try anything. I love AGL shoes but I guess their sales people aren't on commission so I will go to the AGL website and order from them.

Wonderful! Nordstrom did not disappoint. I enjoy visiting this store because they have the best selection of designer cosmetics and apparel but more importantly, excellent service. Everyone is always willing to assist you and I get a good vibe when I walk through the store. Btw, the YSL counter staff was outstanding.

I come here for the Jack Black mens toiletries. Also they have a wonderful shoe section if you want to splurge on a nice pair. The employees are always so helpful. Parking can be frustrating during peak hours but w that’s to be expected. And I do like that there is a parking garage.

The anniversary sale is on! My daughter and I went this past weekend and found a bunch of great deals. The salespeople at the Chanel counter were great and super patient with us. Very pleasant too. Now that I think about it, every department we went to was a good experience.
