The Northcote Pet Stores is amazing; they have the best selection of really unique products from (all over the world) lol. Especially for smaller breeds they have stuff you cannot find anywhere else and a really good selection. I always shop at Northcote for my dog Minnie. It is really central so I try to visit whenever I get her something. I also think the prices are really good compared to some other pet boutiques in London.

I think this is about the last original shop in Northcote Road. I used to visit here in the 60's! All the others are gone! Great to see this is still here and definately need to support small businesses. Great variety of products and I guess the store could be refurbished but I know how expensive an exercise that would be to undertake and how greedy the landlords are here , so if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Horrible experience with my 6 year old son, he was told off by the lady in the front for touching the fishtank. She yelled from across the shop like a maniac and traumatized him. There is a way to speak to children and customers and this was not it. Although I understand he did something he wasn't supposed to, there is a decorum to maintain when dealing with children and customers. Absolutely appalled.

Can only speak for the dog section, but absolutely excellent - a proper pet shop! Staff with some great advice and knowledge of their products, a lot of which are made by small UK businesses. The venison and other dried meat sticks are great value and break up perfectly into high value treats that also smell strong enough to guarantee your dogs attention

The best pet shop! There’s several which are closer to home but me and the pup love coming here - she speeds up so much once she realises where we’re going! It has an incredible range of top quality products, it’s a real treasure trove. And the people who work there are always super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

It has what you need if you're in a bind, but management is pretty lax and there are noticeably dead rodents and evidence of chewing on many of the beds/toys. I would suggest buying only packaged items...

Extremely disappointed arrived at the store, 430pm and I double checked online and said closing, was at 5 pm, but the store was closed I troubled the long way, I’m very disappointed.

It's a well supplied pet shop selling what you need if you have pets in a street increasingly full of shops selling nothing you need. And it has stayed open against all the odds.
