I don’t recommend ocean lounge the security lady is very disrespectful and rude I took my aunt there for her birthday and we wasn’t there for an hour. My aunt asked the slim security guy a question and next thing you know she walks up and says don’t ask my guy anything any questions ask her. This is not the first time I’ve seen her do this to other people so if anybody goes there pls be aware she has a major attitude problem. I wish the owner would do better I had a better experience with the lightskin guy with the glasses which I haven’t seen in a while. And no disrespect but the other security guy the big guy between those two was the only reason I kept coming back. She will be the cost of losing customers

This was my first visit and I was very pleased. The club is nice, cozy, and quaint. I had an opportunity to meet the owners and they were very nice and welcoming. I love the fact that they bring hot new talent to showcase and put on. The DJ they had was going up! The bartender i forget her name was on point. The drink prices were reasonable and the tast was so good (I'm picky about my drinks). The hookah is really new and modern and clean which i really liked (my first time trying since covid). I will love to see this place expand. Yall are off to a great start keep up the hard work! Put DC on the map for sure. Also they keep a good crowd and a good crew. It was all good vibez and love no bad crowd.

Just went the Sunday before President's Day, and all the other bars were closed by 11 o'clock or the upstairs dance areas were closed. We were walking by, giving up and going back to our cars, and we heard great music and girls outside told us we should come in. The dj was bumping afrobeats, dancehall, and hip hop, the crowd was great, and the bartenders were generous with their pours. They were closing at 2! I highly recommend Ocean Lounge. They have hookah too. We were sad that Rock and Roll Hotel had closed and that there were no more dance spots on H St, but this place was great! They're keeping H St alive!

Went to Ocean Lounge tonight and had a really good time overall. The security and bartending staff get nothing but respect from me, they were great. My only complaint is that the DJ plays the same songs every time I've gone, he plays one artist for 20 mins straight, came off rude when asked about song choices, and charges $5 for song requests. Who does that?? Makes zero sense and comes off kinda douchy. Other than that, love Ocean Lounge.

My cousin always go there and dance but tonight the female security treated her like she was a stranger and the former security Marvin left 3 weeks ago with a out of state lady back to her hotel and tried to assault her and kept her car keys. Beware of what you walk yourself into. No one is exempt from bad behavior. Music is great, bartender Kat is wonderful and food 8sbonnpoint...

This bar was so cute! The margarita from the owner was soooooooo deliciousness… Thank you for a great nite!!!! I will be back…

Well the bartenders are good the rest of the lounge is terrible DJ was the worst part of the experience along with the security guards not even looking out for drunk patrons.
