Not sure why this guy got such good reviews. He asked for extra to workout my shares from statements, I said no problem and paid extra. Then asked me for a "favour", which was to create an excel spreadsheet report doing the calculations for all my shares. When I said (respectfully) that was his job and what I'd paid him extra for, he then wanted more money to do what I already paid extra for (meaning I paid extra for him to put one number into the mygov application). He claimed i said I only had a couple shares (not true at all, we talked about my shares and what I'd bought). After wasting time over emails (he wanted to work out each share individually, and requested me to lookup share prices at certain dates, after almost a week of delays, when I'd already explained to him he could just tally up withdrawals and deposits into account which would have taken 5 minutes), told him to just keep his money, did my own tax return literally in about 30 minutes, and got an approved refund $500 more than he got me. Waste of time and money. If I was supposed to work out the capital gains tax, why did you want $20 to put the value I'd worked out for you into mygov? It's literally 3 seconds of work that way. Also, my way of calculating it worked, because both trading accounts were opened and closed within the financial year.

I’ve been with Anis for a few years now and also introduced him to my partner.
