I've been coming to this park for years ever since my mom would force us up early in the morning to go walking as kids. I prefer to ride my bike instead. The sidewalks are nice and smooth for that and there are a few hills to help get that work out in. Watch out for the ducks and geese though.

I like to take my son to the playground and also to go feed the ducks. Its pretty packed on the weekends. And they know they can do better with the port o potty. Its always sooooo disgusting. And for such a large park there is only ONE there and its not even in the middle of the park.

So sad to see the change in this park, went from being a decent, clean area, To condoms on the floor. Cigarette buds everywhere. Fast food cups & trash in the pond. If anyone wants to pick trash up for the sake of our community, this is a good place.

  • Barbara Wesolek

Great playgrounds for kids, they are currently updating one side of the park with more features. You can fish but it isn't a great choice. It does have a concrete 1 mile long sidewalk wrapping around the park which is great for runners or walkers.

Oakland Park has a GREAT sidewalk that frames the park. Up until a few years ago, before the installation of the sidewalk, you hardly ever saw folks walking the park. Now, no matter the weather, people are walking, jogging, skateboarding, etc.

Absolutely a beautiful Park, it's probably on about say 100 acres in the middle of your City. If you want to place to get away from this is the park to go to, there fishing, picnicking, frisbee, tons of shade trees and anything else you can

Very good local park to go either alone or with family. I gave it 4 stars because it has mostly what a park has, playgrounds, ducks, and empty grassy land. But it has it's cons. There are only 2 playgrounds here. Which is a bit boring. The

Love this park! You would never believe that something so large and beautiful is actually right off of the hwy on the east side! They even have a miniature skate park/area, not to mention a pond with a fountain. If you've never experienced

If it had a public restroom it would get 5 stars. This is the first place I found ducks in a while. There's a nice children's playset on both sides of the pond and the paved paths are clear of trash. There is a skatepark, but an absence of

This park is pretty good. Its not always the cleanest but its not like theres just overbearing junk everywhere, just the occasional broken soda bottle in the parking lot or trash in the picnic areas. Both playgrounds are swell. The walking

Very pretty park with lots of grassy areas and trees. Also has lots of benches and trash cans. The park is well maintained, and has a cool looking pavilion, skate park, two play grounds, and very nice walking/jogging/biking trail. My only

The park used to be very nice but is now inundated with homeless ,drug use and generally overtaken by immigrants at all times of the day and all times of the week. Homeless are setting fires in pavilion tables and generally destroying it.

Wow. This is only a shell of the Oakland Park I remember. This park is only partially functional, looks abandoned in most areas and is unkempt. The walking trail's connecting bridge has been broken down for years now which interrupts the

Water needs a cleaning ASAP smells so bad this is a park that I used to visit all the time when I was a kid it used to be so beautiful now that I have my own children we paid a visit 3 days ago and it wasn't the same water has gotten so

I've been coming here since I was a kid. I used to bike around the lake and enjoy the scenery. There's a really decently long walking trail that is very well maintained, ample trash cans to dispose of picnic garbage and porta potties in

  • Robb

Great atmosphere and nice place to go walking and feed the ducks... if you can get around the trash. The sad thing is the ducks hangout on the shoreline where all the egg cartons, beer bottles and cups have accumulated. Even the grassy

The park has been under construction for quite a while and I hope to be able to give it five stars when it is complete.. Visiting the ducks (don't forget to bring cracked corn!) and walking along the waterfront are great exercise and

Large park with walking path that goes always around a small lake that has lots ducks, who like to be feed. Playgrounds, a pavilion l, and skate park add lots of activities and enjoy from a visit to this beautiful place. More

We really enjoyed our visit to our neighborhood park. The space is great for a walk, feeding ducks, or playing on the playground. My only complaint is the amount of trash people have left. We saw a lovely crane on our walk.

  • David Sconce

Nice place, just wish they would strain the water or something to get all the trash floating on the edge of the lake..it can't be good for the ducks out there...wouldn't take much to fix it up, come on city of Fort Worth!

  • Shadden Watkins

Love the tucked away gem here on the East side. If you haven't been yet you're missing out! They have paved trails, plenty of open space, a pond to fish in, & even a skate park area! They've got it all here.

  • A.T.

The park was clean overall. Two different playgrounds for small and bigger kids to play. The skateboard area was nice. However, there were not enough items for kids to play on and enjoy, atleast older kids.

  • Lorenzo Ramirez

We have been coming to this park for a very long time sice our kids were small. It's being upgraded in some areas over all a good place to come and take a walk. Also they hold yoga classes by the pavillion.

  • Tamara Burleson

Not at all like it used to be a few years back & when my kids were kids! Although they have added a new park for the kids, the upkeep of the park itself has gone way down! The city needs to do there job

  • Sherry Smiley

The park had a few people out but you was able to social distance yourself. I think they need to clean the lake because it's getting darker and darker. But other than that it was a great visit.

  • Netta H

The park is nice and quiet. Lots of dragonfly's and squirrels roaming. But, people have come to drink at the park so around every bench there are tons of beer caps and trash on the ground.

  • Karla Ingle

It's a nice quiet place to relax or go walking on the trails that are paved, and go down an around a nice pond area. There's lots of grassy areas to play a sport if you'd like

  • shamica thompson

This was a very tranquil park and area that is underrated just glad it's peaceful and quiet to actually hear your thoughts while taking in a great view of the pond

  • Lady Omusuku

Really enjoyed a day here with my Mom and Siblings for an impromptu meet-up and meal. Port a potties were surprisingly decent to use. More

  • Maize Blue

This is not the best, has lots of room for improvement. It wasn't clean, lots of mosquitoes. The body of water was stagnant.
