When we moved to Ottawa from Montreal we needed both primary residence and cottage insurance for our homes, as well as car insurance. There were some important technicalities that had to be addressed and we were running around like chickens without a head, not knowing what to do ..... until we spoke with Cathy Luciano. She not only handled all of our concerns with the utmost professionalism, competency, expediency and efficiency (at one point she was even faxing the license bureau on the spot with the necessary insurance papers we needed as we waited in line to change our car license LOL !!!) - who ever heard of such personal and immediate attention from someone who had never even met us? I must also mention that Cathy's expert advice saved us hundreds of dollars in insurance as well. Yes, Cathy has professional qualities and skills that go far far beyond what one would expect, but, as if that isn't already enough, she is also a very special human being. You hear it in the warmth and ease of her voice as she listens, truly listens. You feel her compassion, and you just know that your mind can be at rest after you explain your concerns and you hear Cathy say "Gotcha" !!

We were trying to acquire insurance for our business and, being in Ottawa, found these folks first in a Google search. Our needs were simple (insurance dating back to our first date of business) and the reviews looked good so gave them a try. This turned out to be a mistake and makes me question the rest of these reviews. What followed was a big waste of our time. Our advisor, Marc Brochu, had to be constantly chased down via emails and phone calls to get any response or action on our insurance. We were repeatedly asked to provide documents that we had already provided. Days would go by with no word from ONA and we lost 1.5 months trying to get a simple quote through them from an insurance provider we already had in mind. We basically did all the research and leg work and just needed a broker to finalize it and this was impossible. After all this I called another broker in Ottawa and within 3 days had the insurance we needed. A terrible experience, be warned.

Dealing with this company has been amazing. Always in communication with me and keeping me up to date with what's going on, with any large or small changes. Very willing to explain in detail and make sure I understood what was going on, and even when I didn't and I had to ask for the tenth time they didn't mind explaining me everything again. We had a lot going on personally at the time and they helped me find the best deal for my budget, did lots of work looking for the best fit for me and my needs. The paper work was easy to send back and forth, through email text and calling. In my experience it was very easy and peaceful interacting with my agent. It felt like I was dealing with a friend rather than an associate, I appreciate that more than anything. Any and all changes that needed to be made were never an issue. I recommend this company to anyone. The staff were very helpful and the process was taken care of quickly. Thank you.

Not impressed with this company. I started with one of their recommended carriers and it worked well. They decided to drop this carrier and switch to another without notice. I told the agent not to auto renew with this carrier as I am not impressed. So they went ahead and resigned me up for another year without talking to me. This carrier cant seem to take the payment on the agreed date After close to 40 yrs of driving this has been the worst experience dealing with an agency. Can't reach a manager or anyone that seems interested in dealing with the problems so I will take my money and business elsewhere.

So .. this is my first experience in insuring a car in ontario and by far my worst ! I was quoted a amount for my car .. I pay a deposit of 400$ .. wich was covering 2 month .. but yet my payment its 147.98$ ?!?! That stay like this .. they didnt charge me for sept oct and nov as of now .. they want 385$ for me saying they didnt been able to process the payment for sept and oct so they charging me the three month in one payment. Nobody gave me any notice and now i have to payd this ridiculous amount for 1999 car .. i i wi go do business somewhere else because i i d not signed for this kind of scam

My broker Bill C. from ONA has helped me over the years now with my vehicle insurance. He is very cautious and detail oriented when processing documentation, and ensures I understand everything whenever there are any changes. He recently helped me cut my premium almost in half just by improving my record and shopping around at the appropriate time. I am grateful to him and the team for being there for me when I need them.

I was assisted recently by Greg, who did a wonderful job in not only answering all of my questions and helping me to review pre-existing insurance plans, as well as advising me to look into my credit card/group insurance before needlessly purchasing more. This to me speaks highly of the character of the employee and business of a whole, and it is certainly the one I will be going to for any future needs.

When it came to finding a policy and getting everything signed had great service. BUT once all is done any questions or concerns took months and never returned calls. Thannkfully never needed to make a claim. After 5 years of business you would think I would be priority even had to cancel with another agent due to lack or service. Found 3x cheaper insurance so I guess worked out in my benefit this time.

We deal with the Oegema office in Russell, ONTARIO. Our agent, Chris Lough, helped us through a car purchase, car transfer, and overall review of our car and home insurance. We had recently retired, and Chris was able to find savings for us as well. Whenever you call this office, it is promptly answered by a "live" person, and you are served efficiently, professionally, and with a friendly manner.

We have been with Oegema for over 20 years and although the company I worked for offered discounted insurance ,e never left Oegema because of the way they treated us. Over the years we have had many claims, some easy...some not so much..but they treated each one professionally, quickly and always to our utmost satisfaction. I would highly recommend them anytime.

Tried to get commercial insurance. E-mailed then several times in 6 months and got nothing but excuses as to why they couldn’t provide a quote. Once the guy I was dealing with left the company the second employee did the same! No respect for client time and no ambition to make new clients. Poor poor poor service!

They were rude to me on the phone, they gave me a quote with conditions and I refused the condition but still have to pay them five hundred dollars even though I moved on after less then a month.
