Amazing service today at the old ball called in on my way home. Was served by a nice geordie lad and a big guy with a beard never been before but thought definitely ately the place to go in horsforth now I've moved there. Would highly recommend if want some nice grub and a gorgeous pint ! More

Great pub, very local, food good price. Only negative is at busy times, smokers congregate at front door instead of stepping a few more metres into large beer garden so you have to enter and leave through lots of second hand smoke. Needs addressing, bar staff have clear view. More

I pop in with like minded football parents while our kids train up the road. It's brilliant on a Friday we get a couple of madri's each at £3 a pint the other drinks are priced fairly aswell. A mixed age groups and cultures all work well in this friendly pub/ restaurant

The Old Ball is a great pub to visit for food and/or drinks depending on what you fancy. The meals are reasonably priced as well as the drinks. Service is good but can be a little slow if busy. Saying that the staff are always on the ball

We don't come here often but it's been pleasant over the last year when we have. It's got nice open spaces Inside and is clean and tidy. We've enjoyed quiet afternoons, but haven't been on an evening for a long time. There's a pool table

I have been going into the old ball for many years. It has always been a friendly atmosphere the food is excellent and the staff are brilliant and from what I can see very hard working. I would recommend this pub and give it 5 stars

We loved the food, it was all cooked to perfection and nice and hot. Pizza was fab, the young lady server was very polite and helpful. Didn't realise LUFC were playing so a little noisy but overall a good experience. More

Met an old friend her from my Leeds Trinity days here last week as this is where we used to frequent while at university. The place used to have a stone pizza oven and served good quality food with a good atmosphere.

Always eat here from the main menue but now we have started having the Breakfasts. They are amazing and amazing value for money. Fantastic sausages and bacon especially. Staff are also very helpful and friendly. More

most of the other bars in the area attract a younger, louder crowd, so thought I would give this pub a try. it has a far better atmosphere, drinks are great, and come at a great price too. the food was excellent.

Well presented, clean and spacious. Has plenty of options on draft, including neck oil and brewdog options. Friendly staff. Pool tables, music, sport on telly what more do you need. More

Great setting. Fairly standard offering for a chain. Staff let it down with terrible attitude that is not befitting of customer service. Beer: the Leeds pale was soured and cloudy.

I had the Notorious P.I.G burger, honestly the best thing I'd tasted in a long while. Be careful when ordering through the QR code, I ended up with side salad instead of chips.
