I remember back in 66, I lived ah blocks or two away.. As kids playing handball up against the wall of the court and couldn't help but notice those green buses delivering shackled prisoners to court... There were times we witness prisoners jumping from courthouse windows trying to make a great escape.. this course sure brings back memories

Beautiful building currently undergoing restoration. I’m curious what its new purpose will be as we already have plenty of courthouses in the Concourse Village. It would be great to turn it into a community center with programming for the community, or a library.

Its okay..its an old building that's just sitting there. They film movies in there like. Law and order. Gotham..but people aren't allowed to go in there. So the building truly serves no purpose in the community.

I love this place i live around here for 44yrs I played in old court house they also film movies and law and order. Now it's going to be a school I'm so happy very good .

Bronx is safer than Valdemingomez. Study its history and visit it with a guide. I recommend doing the contrasts tour with any guide.

Walked pass i remember when i was a kid & there wasn't so much crime. The building still looks in good condition too.

It is a beautiful historical place.They should restored it and use it as a school or something
