What a pleasant surprise this lovely 'Country Pub' (not really Country) had to offer.. Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely local menu selections on offer and the local McLaren Vale wines were the best.. All in all a very enjoyable lunch. Will definitely be back for more to this (slightly) hidden treasure..

Food was fine. Nothing was horrible, but nothing was ultra-memorable either. Hand cut chips worth a mention. Service however was outstanding, highly communicative, we were a large party and food all came out at the same time with no errors. Very much a pub atmosphere, rowdy, but everyone was having a good time. More

A proper old school pub with old fashioned service and decor. NO POKIES! which is great. Food is good, decent size. Plenty of beer variety although not overly craft heavy, but a small selection at least. Beer garden for summer. A couple of open fires for winter. More

What an amazing find in Willunga. This place is a gem hidden in the rough. Outside eating areas could do with a bit of love, but there was plenty of love put into the food. Plus the staff were friendly and helpful. A must to visit for a great feed down south. More

Having booked a table for two a week prior for 1pm arrived 10 minutes early, when ordering drinks from the bar asked to order food, was told don't know if you will get it (kitchen closing 1.30pm) have a table of 10 and a table of 7 waiting

My partner and I had an improptu stop for lunch, wow the food and prices were amazing especially lunch thai squid salad and porterhouse steak was delish The service was fantastic, very friendly accomodating staff, cudos to the chef!!

Always a great place for a meal. The pork belly and prawn salad was delicious. Paper on tables for kids to draw on is a good way to keep them entertained. Highly recommend. More

My son loved his chicken burger, generous portion. Pork belly and prawn salad was good but the sauce too was overpowering for my taste. Lovely blood orange sorbet. More

Really nice fillet Mignon, presented on a bed of mashed pumpkin with a gravy sauce & rocket dressing. Oddly not served with any salad other veg or chips though.

An absolute gem for our birthday meal. A quaint cozy building, delicious food, charming friendly staff and exceptionally quick service. We'll be back soon.
