Absolutely love this park. Huge open space to separate yourselves safely during these crazy times in the world. Many nearby shops, restaurants and grocery market. We love to grab breakfast or lunch to-go and pull out our blankets to have picnics in the park. Great area for post-meal walks!
Had a great party here, but the bathrooms are a bit creepy. Must get better lighting. Maybe some actual toilet seats , and more maintenance for the weekends. Since a lot of people come here on the weekends. But it was great to BBQ here and had a lot of seats!
Beautiful and scenic trails. Plenty of shade trees along most of the paved trails. A creek with water runs along the path and in one spot a bridge cross the creek. This park does have some minor problems. The park is close to a highway and
I’ve lived in SA a short period but Olmos Basin is my favorite 3 mile trail! Stroller friendly plenty of SHADE. The trail around the soccer fields has a nice breeze. There is also a playground for the kiddos and a restroom that is usually
For running: Hard on your knees and too short for long runs. From one trail head to the other and back was about 1.7 miles. The trail is hard-scape. There is traffic noise. Little foot traffic mid-day on a Saturday and mostly shaded. Half
Short trail if you consider it goes from the trail head up to the Quarry shopping center but a good shade a trail for hot days. 2 miles from trailhead the Quarry but if you loop around the soccer field it’ll get you up to 3 miles
Excellent park for a walk/run because of the ample shade, especially during the hot summers. Only issue for me is traffic from hwy 281 can be heard throughout almost the entire park.
Well shaded, pretty clean, albiet short Greenway. I'll usually use this in the summer, bring the kiddo on her bike, and enjoy. Very low traffic as well.
We went to a walk with Ruff Tracks Training and had a great time! Met up with other dogs at the park after the walk and everyone was super friendly!
Great place to take your pets for a walk. Clean up is wonderful walk all around the park.Met other pets,Great time I will take. My pet back.
This park was nice. Trails are shaded and they have a great soccer area. Not too crowded while I was there which was also great.
Well kept park. Plenty of picnic tables and restrooms throughout. Lots of shade from the pecan and oak trees to name a few.
Great place to go for a run or go on bike rides. You'll see a lot of people walking their dogs.
San Antonio has many trail. This good for a short run. It is only 1 mile long.
The park is beautiful but there is a lot of trash in the surroundings.
Great park with nice trails. Plenty of activity to feel safe
