Hi, Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with the service I received today at the salon. There are few reasons: 1. My appointment was 9am in the morning, I booked it with “Tracy”. When I arrived, 8:55am, there were two lovely ladies there greeting their customers already, but I sat their waited until around 9:05am or later until Tracy actually arrived the salon. Not a big issue as I don’t mind waiting, but no apology was given for the lateness. 2. The lady then asked me to “choose a colour then”, when I asked about where to choose the colour from, she replied “anything here”. No colour sample was shown and nothing was introduced at all. I’ve done nails elsewhere a lot of times before, and this was the first time I didn’t even get to shown any display board or sample at all. 3. So then I chose the colour from the looking of the bottles, Tracy then started to do my nails. After shaping it, which she didn’t really do much, she suddenly walked away and started to talk to another staff at the back, I didn’t really pay attention to what they were talking about but after a couple of mins another lady sat done and told me “I’m gonna brush you ok?” This is very confusing because I booked the manicure with Tracy and I expected to receive the service from her? But she walked away without explaining anything to me, and because the other staff also has her customer waiting for her in another room, she was trying to be very quick, I can tell she’s skilled, but she really rushed the last layer of my right hand, which I’m not really happy with. 4. I have booked this appointment from their website and paid for it online as well the night before. When they finished, I asked if I can have something to clean the gap as there were some gel inside, Tracy told me “there are tools there” without even look at me. So I grabbed sth to clean it myself, and as I was about to leave, Tracy said “you haven’t paid”. This was her exact words, to be honest very rude. Obviously no apology was given after finding out it was already paid. I’m not a trouble maker and I run a small business in hospitality myself, but the service I received today, was not very professional.

During a very busy time I booked for a shellac manicure with a lovely manicurist who I regularly saw. On arrival at the salon I was greeted by a loud and bossy woman (Tracy i think) who told me to sit down and wait. After waiting for 20 minutes and I noticed that my manicurist was not in the salon, I asked at reception what was happening with my appointment. Another therapist check the computer and told me that my therapist had left the salon and I have not got anybody to do my nails. I’ve been sat waiting for 20 minutes in reception!!! I expressed how angry and upset I was that my my manicure could not be complete, I was of course cross and upset. I shared this with the reception staff, this was then followed on by a telephone call by Kim who runs the salon she left a voicemail shouting down the phone at me telling me not to create a scene in her salon. The salon is also dirty and unkempt, avoid at all costs if you want regular committed therapist to do your beauty work in a clean and well managed environment .

I had a gorgeous full head highlights with Sadie and had a nice cut and finish with Georgi after that. I have dark long and thick hair and was worried if I can’t have a blonde high light. I had a consultation with Sadie and she explained everything to me before the appointment. During my highlight, the salon was nice and the team were very professional and kind. I didn’t notice the time passed and they tried to make sure that I am happy and feeling well. Sadie is a kind hearted full of positive energy lady and Lily and Georgi are also very kind hearted. My hair was checked all the time and they made sure it is healthy. Then, a toner was added to my hair which resulted into a very beautiful ashy blonde toner which looks gorgeous on my hair. It is light and blonde and doesn’t need any further repeating to become blonder. I totally suggest this salon and by sure will repeat my hight light and hair cut here☺️.

I’ve been going to Sadie at the Basement hair studio for over a year and now and I honestly couldn’t recommend her enough! I’ve been meaning to write a review for a long time now. I can trust her with absolutely anything I throw her way whether it’s balayage, blonde, highlights, warm tones, light tones.. she absolutely nails it every time and I’ve never been so happy leaving a hairdressers! She’s also so lovely and a delight to have a catch up/ chat while I’m there for hours in the salon! Plus she has a great team too ❤️ Thank you so much again!

OMGlamour are great. Had some problems with booking when I first tried to get in so definitely recommend using their phone lines rather than the website. Got to say though the nail techs Ines and Ella have both done a wonderful job with my nails on a couple of occasions now. I like my complicated design and sharp stiletto and they’ve delivered both times! Also snuck in an eyebrow wax and tint with Kim last time who did a lovely job

I had such a wonderful experience with the lovely ladies at Omglamour. They absolutely delivered on my wedding day for me and 4 bridesmaids. Hair (by Sadie and Lily) and makeup (by Savannah and Ava) was perfect and all 5 of us were so happy with the results. We had our nails done the day before and that was also fab (by Ava, Savannah and Ellissia). Highly recommended for anyone looking for bridal/wedding services

I have nothing but good to say about these ladies! They are absolutely fantastic. I walked in stressed for my wedding and house move. And they had 1 hour to close. All 4 ladies chipped in together and showed great team work and got my wedding manicure and pedicure done. Clean, friendly, professional, fast and immaculate! I walked in stressed, Came out with a massive smile, and brilliant nails.

Fabulous beauty salon and hair studio, just gets better and better. Easily the best in Clifton and probably the very best in the whole of Bristol. For beauty ask for Kim and for hair it's Sadie. What a lovely team of dedicated professionals, friendly and always ready to smile! Don't overlook skin tightening by Environ, as well as nails pedis waxing brow lifts and massage.

I get my nails done here with Ella every 3-4 weeks and they always look absolutely beautiful, I get so many compliments! I started with acrylic extensions, but Ella recommended moving to BIAB and my natural nails have never been healthier or longer. The salon is always full of chatter and has a lovely atmosphere, I wouldn't go anywhere else in Bristol!

I went a few weeks back for acrylic infil and it was the best salon experience I have ever had getting my nails done. It was so lovely to sit and chat the whole time and the end result was fab. I wish I had a picture but sadly I don’t. The ladies there are so funny and there was a great atmosphere but most importantly they are great at their jobs!

Last time I went here Sadie was 15 minutes late. She arrived and told me to put on a gown that was covered in someone else’s hair! Then when she said we’d go to wash my hair she stopped to chat to another customer for 10 minutes. She’s great at cutting hair, but for the price I’d hope the service would be a bit more professional and hygienic.

Amazing. I had incredible highlights done by the apprentice Lily, who gave me the most incredible new blonde. My roots and hair were in a major refresh of blonde in the winter , and lily gave me exactly that. I had better highlights from this than I have had from extremely fancy salons in the past few years, charging upwards of £180!! Love.

Absolutely fabulous experience getting wedding nails done (bride and best woman) - such lovely attention to detail and everyone in there made it a day to remember. Tracey and Innes did the most beautiful nails for us, including gorgeous nail art for the bride! Highly recommend if you want amazing nails and great fun whilst their done!

Had my hair done at the Basement Hair Studio. Sadie did a gorgeous job on my colour - exactly what I wanted, and Georgie did my cut and blow dry which was again perfect. Hairdressers - wash, cut, blow dry, style. Georgie did an amazing job. Probably the best haircut I’ve ever had and loved the style. She did my hair to suit me which I really appreciated. The atmosphere was friendly with some great music choices. I could not recommend Georgie more! I will be returning in 3 months time!

Such a super variety of treatments for treating myself!! I love coming to OMGlamour, again and again. Beautiful, clean and welcoming salon - with manager Kim always listening and providing exactly what I ask for. I now have the softest feet after just one pedicure, and can’t wait to return for more Swedish massage.

Intimate wax was pretty unsatisfactory- clearly in a hurry, told me she ‘prides herself on removing all the hairs’ but loads left I had to tweeze out at home! Also not very professional, told me a story about another customer which wasn’t wholly appropriate. Will not be coming back.

I have been going to Tracy for over 10 years; I’m absolutely thrilled she’s working back in the shop (she used to own it) her shellac manis always last and her wet pedis (leg massage extraordinaire!) are out of this world. Couldn’t recommend highly enough
