I discovered Omio since 2019, It was very convenient to use and I was able to roam around to some of different countries, different cities in Europe by booking a train ticket from this app, its very easy and simple to use, also it stored all your tickets even from your past years booking. The customer service staff , esp. Tanguy, was very professional, they never left me behind because I had encountered 1 problem to one of the train staff in one of the country we've been through, I have reported it to them via email, they responded very fast and gave me updates from time to time, they gave importance on how their customer felt. It took them months following up from that train company, they made sure that my rights as a consumer will be met. I highly recommend to use this app in the future as they understood very well their customer side. Because of this it gave me more confidence using their app and I am more secured. More power to Omio.

Worst experience I had in Europe. Bought a train ticket from their app from Frankfurt to Amsterdam. Decided to upgrade to first class so that I would have enough room for me and my luggage and I could enjoy the trip and scenery. When I boarded I sat in the first class cabin but I did not have a reserved seat. At the next stop someone said I was sitting in their seat so I moved me and my 45kg of luggage with me to a new seat. Next stop someone asked me to move again only this time there were no seats left!! I ended up standing up with my bags right next to the bathrooms for two hours! I could not even see the windows to see any scenery. It just could not have been worse. I have written to them asking for a refund for the “first class” portion of my ticket since they apparently sold me something they did not have.

Ich habe schon mehrmals über Omio gebucht und bin sehr zufrieden. Auch bei Problemen wurde mir sehr schnell geholfen. Mir wurde meine Buchungsnummer aufgrund eines Systemfehlers, als ungültig angezeigt. Dies wurde schnell durch dne Kundenservice behoben und was mir besonders gefallen hat, dass der Kundenservice persönlich war. Also ich könnte auf die Email, womit ich mein Problem mit der Buchung lösen konnte, antworten und damit direkt die Sachbearbeiterin kontaktieren mit der ich auch telefoniert habe. Das fand ich gut, denn oft ist es woanders so, dass man bei einem nicht gelöstem Problem oder weiterem Problem einfach wieder in der Hotline landet und man jemand neues nochmal über alles aufklären muss. Ausserdem war die Dame von Kundenservice sehr freundlich und kompetent. Ich buche weiterhin über Omio. Danke

Vorsicht vor diesem Anbieter! Eine gebuchte Busfahrt wurde vom Busunternehmen storniert, bzw. hätte niemals stattfinden sollen. Omio erstattet allerdings nur einen Teilbetrag und das auch erst, nachdem man mich dazu genötigt hatte, meinen offenen Fall beim Käuferschutz von Paypal zu schließen. Man erklärte mir, dass ich den gesamten Betrag aus technischen Gründen nur überwiesen bekommen könnte, wenn der Fall bei Paypal geschlossen ist. Ich hatte daran Zweifel geäußert und dann doch in den sauren Apfel gebissen. Dann ist genau das passiert, was ich befürchtete. Omio unterschlägt mein Geld, stellt sich auch nach mehreren E-Mails quer und argumentiert in jeder Antwort völlig am Thema vor bei. Dazu die Nötigung... Das zeigt eindeutig, mit welcher kriminellen Energie man hier Geld macht. Beschämend!

We had a major panic this morning as BA had cancelled our flights to London to connect with our onward flight to Sydney for a wedding. In our panic we booked train tickets via Omio down south as BA options that were given were not achievable! I then called BA to complain about their service… to be told they could book us on a flight the following morning…. and if we didn’t rebook with them and found our own way to Heathrow… it would be counted as a no show and all our flights would have been cancelled!!! We called Omio to see if they could help. Dan couldn’t have been nicer. Very calm and exceptionally helpful. He also managed to give us a refund on our train tickets. Thank you Dan, you made a very stressful situation bearable !

Omio ist sich zu schade, das Geld von vor 3 Monaten zurückzuerstatten obwohl wir für den Streik der Bahn in Portugal nichts konnten. Nach etlichen Mails und Telefonaten gibt es immernoch keine Lösung von seitens Omio. Lasst uns alle, die Ihr Geld nicht zurückbekommen, eine Sammelklage gegen diese Betrüger einreichen. Wie leben in Deutschlands und deren Sitz ist in Deutschland also gilt Deutsches bzw. EU-Recht. Omio ist unser Vertragspartner und ist uns diese Leistung schuldig. Thank you, Omio I received my refund as promised. The reservation for my three trips across Spain was smooth and easy. Prompt and user friendly. I didn’t need any printed documentation and my e-ticket worked perfectly. However, I would value your consideration of an easier and more straightforward cancellation possibility. That is, whenever I clicked “cancellation options,” I got an error note (oops! Something went wrong). Yet, if this is resolved I would give a ***** rating. What I also liked is the call center support. The agents helped and walked me through my cancellation and followed up, supporting and calling back till my issue was resolved.

Ich habe im Sommer eine Bahnfahrt über Omio gebucht. Nach Bezahlung über PAYPAL habe ich ein unvollständiges Ticket erhalten. Das Geld habe ich zurückgefordert. Ich habe der Omio Kundenbetreuung geschrieben und das unvollständiges Ticket gesendet. Eine Rückmeldung kam erst nach Tagen! Der Kundendienst hat sich bei mir entschuldigt aber der Fall blieb offen bei PayPal. Vor kurzem habe ich eine Email von PayPal erhalten in der steht, dass ich PayPal über 50€ schulde, weil ich angeblich für das unvollständiges Ticket nicht bezahlt habe. Der Fall wurde letzte Woche geschlossen, so dass mein Konto gesperrt wurde. Vielen Dank für NICHTS, Omio!

We recently booked train tickets in Italy through Omni. The site was easy to navigate and everything was perfect. Then we found out we had booked the wrong train station as our Ship was coming into another port. Unfortunately we had booked "No Change" No Refund" tickets, but I reached out to OMNI anyway to see if I had any options to use these tickets on another train. That wasn't possible, but as an act of "Goodwill" they did offer me a discount on my purchase of the other seats which they did not have to do. Thank you OMNI, I will remember you when we get to Italy and need to book tickets!

Everything is fine until in the fine print you find that you were not assigned a seat and are left standing for 5.5 hour train ride. Omio service just shrugged off, as quote “you were supposed to go to providers website and buy seat reservations separately”. Duh, but thats why I don’t research individual train lines, but wanted to use Omio instead. I guess if you are down to having nasty surprises such as this one go ahead and use Omio. Customer service is helpless too. UPD: It seems like I am not the only customer who experienced this based on the reviews. Travel with caution

When I could not find my booking confirmation my first action was to try to contact Omio travel client service. It was hard to find their phone number and it made me feel worried… I emailed them but I had very little hope that I would get proper help and a quick response. It was my first time buying tickets through Omio. However I got almost an immediate email from Oliver - Omio client service representative. He solved my problem within a couple of hours. I’d continue booking my travels through Omio. Very happy with their service.

Stornierungen unmöglich. hatte versehentlich ein Ticket von B nach A gebucht. Obwohl ich die Stornierung sofort eingeleitet habe und unverzüglich ein Ticket von A nach B gebucht habe, wurde die Stornierung nicht erlaubt und das Geld nicht zurück erstattet. Für mich ist dies ein error in contrahendo, also ein versehentlicher Vertragsabschluß, der damit nicht unter Stornierungsbedingungen fällt. Ich buche ab jetzt bei trainline

Bahnticket in Portugal über die Gesellschaft gebucht. Gebuchte Sitzplatzreservierung ist entgegen der Fahrtrichtung. Man hätte für den Kunden auch einen anderen und besseren Sitzplatz auswählen können! Edit1: Ja, das ist richtig. Aber es lässt sich nur Gang oder Fensterplatz auswählen. Aufgrund meines frühen Buchungsdatums hätte man aber sicherlich auch darauf achten können, ob der Sitz in Fahrtrichtung ausgerichtet ist...
