Poor experience servicing my KTM Duke 390 - incompetent and waste of time TLDR: I got my KTM Duke 390 serviced here on 25th July (invoice number 161103), and had to return the bike three more times to address various issues. Escaped death on road twice during this time. Saving grace is that Silvio is polite, and staff are friendly. Timeline: 25th July - 20,000 km service 29th July - massive engine oil leak, near death experience on road 30th July - bike repaired and returned (O ring busted identified) 3rd August - bike stalled on motorway, lucky escape this time. Battery lead broken identified. Gear shifter bent identified. 8th August - return to store to have gear shifter replaced. Order stuffed up, but missing part harvested from new bike, for which they charged me. Contact person: Silvio Invoice number: 161103 My experience started when I got my bike serviced (20,000 km) at On Two Wheels, on 25th July 2020 - work order number 161103, customer number 109466. I also got an e-safety check report on the same day to renew registration. I had used my bike for daily commute until that point with no issues. The bike I was returned was not safe to ride. After my first long ride since the service (29th Jul), I returned to the parking spot in the evening to see a pool of oil below the bike. On closer inspection, I could see oil deposits trailing the bike leading to the parking spot. Also, both sides of the rear tire were smeared with oil. Please refer to photos attached, timestamped 29 Jul 18:31 to 18:36. ride back home. On my way back, I had a near death scenario where the rear tire had a massive slide, luckily I could regain balance and continue my slow ride home. After reaching home, I parked my bike and stepped off to examine and I could already notice a pool of oil below the bike and also trailing oil deposits. Underside of the seat is covered in oil, there was even oil sprayed on to the rear seat as you would be able to see in pics. I notified the dealer by email, and they picked up the bike, fixed the issue (it was a busted O ring) and dropped the bike back home. On my next commute ride, on 3rd August - the bike stalled on motorway (speeds of 110 km/h). It was a scary experience, and the dealer checked the bike this time to find a broken battery lead. Both times they insisted that "these sort of things happen" and that it was not due to their negligence or incompetence. This time, I insisted on a complete recheck as I had no confidence in their expertise. After their technician took a test ride, he identified a bent and worn out gear shifter. As the part was not readily available, I was asked to return on 8th August to replace the shifter. On this occassion, they stuffed up the part order and ordered only the shifter and not the other worn out bits. Dan (good mechanic) identified this on inspection and advised to get rest of the parts replaced as well. They harvested the missing parts from a new bike, for which they charged me. Silvio mentioned "we are doing you a favor, we are helping you mate". Overall, pretty piss poor experience! What should have been a single visit to the dealer turned to 4 visits, and 2 potentially life threatening incidents. If there was any saving grace, the dealer was polite and apologetic but that doesn't help when your bike stalls in the motorway. I asked via email and in-person for proof of work for the second and third visits. I was not provided any paperwork because as per Silvio - "we have not charged you for these, so can't print out work details from the system". I am convinced that the issues I experienced were due to negligence or incompetence. If I had more time at hand, I would definitely sue them. Do not get your bike serviced here. It looks like a great place to buy a new bike though. Salespeople are friendly and they have a good range of bikes.

Always have bad experiences here. I would recommend trying anywhere but here. I felt the need to edit this review as the response was misleading, no surprise there. Firstly please don’t mistake convenience for loyalty, the location is one positive thing I can say about this place other than I did get good customer service several times from a staff member who unfortunately doesn’t work there anymore. No surprise there either. When purchasing the Ktm 65, I specifically asked for one to be built as I didn’t want the floor stock and was assured there were 3 “out the back”. I was told to call when I wanted to pick up the bike and it would take 2 days to build. I called and gave the notice required, I even called back on the day of pick up to confirm and was told the bike was ready. Upon arrival I was hurried off by the salesman I was dealing with to pay the remaining balance without viewing the bike, that was my mistake. I was then told another staff member would hand over the bike. After paying I was instructed to go downstairs and as I did, saw the bike and knew it was the floor stock I had vied just days prior. I asked the staff member who was handing the bike over if it was floor stock as it was dirty, had scuff marks on the rear number plates and stickers were peeling off, to which he replied “no it has different serial numbers” as he was furiously wiping the bike down and trying to scrub the marks off the number plates. I walked back up to the salesman who I was dealing with and asked him if was floor stock. He hesitated and then said yes it was as the guys were too busy to put one together. I said I wasn’t happy with it as It wasn’t what we agreed on and wasn’t happy about the dirty marks and the stickers peeling off. (I also noticed scratches on the frame when I got home ) He went to see his boss and came back and said he would order 2 stickers to replace the ones peeling and that even the ones out of the box peel. Obviously I was upset by this, I felt disrespected and that he had attempted to deceive me based on what we had agreed on previously. This is not the first time I’ve been disrespected at this place and from what I’ve heard there are many other accounts of dishonest behaviour. Unfortunately this stems from the core of this business and I doubt it will ever change. So “make it right” and stop the dishonesty and you will have a happy customer.

Patrick was good and he sold me a bike, and thats where the good story ends. Should you have any niggling issues like a chain with tight spots on a brand new bike, you would think a nudge of good customer service and $100 warranty and a 10min fix would be something they would honor leaving a customer happy for his thousands of hard spent cash. Nope. Firstly before I could even get A WORD IN with the service manager he was saying how his decision is final and how his service is amazing over the last 25 years. I got told to bring the bike over in 27 days! And then leave the bike with them, and a Honda rep would have to come over and inspect the chain, and if they thought it needed replacing it would be replaced. Sorry but I use the bike as my main mode of transport. Its to be expected, they are one of many dealer ships with god awful after sales service. Ive been riding bikes for 20 years and been taking them to different service centers over this period, the service is nothing special at all. Lets see if they bother to contact me after leaving this review. They are good at selling them though, i guess thats all that matters

I am very pleased to write a review for On Two Wheels. Especially Carl the salesperson. I can not begin to express how great and helpful Carl was. I reside in the Sutherland Shire and can assure you that the trip out to this store is extremely worth it. Carl assisted me with not only the purchase of a new Ducati he arranged delivery of the motorbike to my home with an experienced motorcycle transport specialist. As mentioned my whole experience was great throughout! Which then lead me into also purchasing a second (Yamaha) motorbike from Carl on impulse, for my wife!! Carl was all over the deals from beginning to end. Carl's product knowledge on both the Ducati and the Yamaha was second to none. A true professional that is a credit to the company!! Thank you Hats off to you Carl!!! Keep Up The Great Work!!! I will see you all soon for our First Yamaha service and for our First Ducati service once we break them in at 1000kms

A massive thanks to Pete at On Two Wheels for not only his great service and bike knowledge but helping with the perfect bike fit. I’m not talking frame size, but my entire position on my new Trek SL7. I’ve been riding for many years, raced on half a dozen bikes but never got properly measured, and always knew my position on the bike wasn’t 100%. Pete measured me up to the nth degree. Hood position and angle, saddle placement and height, shoe cleat position and alignment, knee rotation, and taught me the principles of being focused on P.P.T. (posture, position and technique) while riding. It could just be the comfort of the carbon SL7 but I know my new position has made a HUGE difference in performance. I’m feeling stronger, climbing faster and want to ride longer. If you want to get the best out of your machine chat with Pete and have him measure you up for your own bike fit. Best investment ‘on two wheels’ I’ve made. Thanks Pete!

The first time I've used them to service my bike. It was a major so a lot of work. Very professional and reviewed every detail of exactly what was done when I went to pick up my bike. Couldn't be happier and I'd say probably the best experience I've had when getting my bike serviced. I have to go back. there isn't any other choice. Bit of an edit to a premature review. Had to take it back for a couple of problems low speed operation and they couldn’t see a problem. Got a bit better before it got back there but still wasn’t right. I have to just see how it goes. Brake reservoir was leaking brake fluid that has damaged plastic. Wasn’t leaking before the service. They couldn’t find the leak but surprisingly not leaking after I got it back. Most annoying is that they were going to get back to me about the plastic within 2 days. That’s about a week ago. At least they could do what they say.

Purchased my very first bike after completing the motorcycle training course. I wanted to shop local, and I am glad I did. My very first interaction with On Two Wheels was with Adam Fidanza. Being a newbie to motorcycle riding I had several questions to ask and Adam was happy to spend the time explaining things and giving me personal experiences. I had initially gone in thinking I wanted a certain bike and after our talks I ended up purchasing a lower cc bike and couldn't be happier. After picking up my bike just on the weekend, I am more understanding and appreciate the honest guidance he gave. I will be back again for my next bike in a few years and would be really happy if Adam is still there then to share further wisdom and stories.

I went to on two wheels at gladeswood with intention to buy CBR650R. I did call week ago to organise the test drive as well and they told me demo bime is not here and will be next week. So i went in and ask for antest drive but they they told me, I will need to buy a helmet as they dont provide one and also need a jacket. They should had let me know beforehand so I could have organise something beforw going n there. I felt my time been wasted and to be honest, I really dont have time to go again and again just for a test drive. Moreover, they couldnot even start the bike so that I could have feel for it. Its sad how inflation have gone bad that honda, they dont care anymore as they will sale the bike regardless.

Ultimate tailgate warranty. I would not recommend buying anything from this dealership, customer care/relationship finishes the moment you pay your money. Had a mechanical failure with my brand new KTM after 160km, initially they told me they were too busy to look at it and then they advised to drop it down and they would assess. After 3 weeks with no return calls or any updates I got the bike taken to another dealership to get repaired under the manufacturer’s warranty. The service department are next to useless with customer communication and I wouldn’t trust them to work on your bike. Shop around and buy your bike elsewhere, not worth the heartache dealing with arrogant disinterested staff.

The team here are awesome, highly recommended if you're after top customer service. I've been to other dealerships and I have to say it was nice to walk in and not feel like the sales person was trying to pull the wool over your eyes. From the sales team to the service department I can't fault them. The sales team were very helpful and Ash went above and beyond to get me the best price she could. The guys in the service department were able to answer all my enquiries and helped me custom out my bike to suit my needs and want. From adjusting my ride hight 3 separate times to fitting all my custom parts and graphics. My bike looks mint and one of kind, I couldn't be happier with the end result.

A lot of problems with this place. Click and collect online ordering system doesn't update to let you know it's ready. They gave me one phone call (which i missed due to work) and didn't try again. Called in to follow it up using the provided number on site and was tossed around multiple departments. If you want to shop in store, customer service in store is also poor. I felt like a huge inconvenience asking for a spare part (tyres) and a bigger waste of time for not knowing which exact size, diameter and brand i wanted then and there. I hope for the best for this bike shop as it's the closest one to me but i will now only be coming here for bike gear as a last resort.

We can’t thank Nathan enough for helping us with the purchase of our new Ducati super sport S from On Two Wheels at Gledswood Hills. My husband is wrapt with his new bike! Nathan was so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful and kept us upto date on the bikes arrival, he sold us on the benefits of the extended warranty and took the time to go through any questions my husband had when picking it up. I sincerely hope that the owners/managers at On Two Wheels appreciate what a great employee they have on their hands because we will definitely buy again from Nathan when I upgrade my LAMS bike in a few months time, thanks again Nathan

i’m only giving a 1 star cause i can’t give 0, honestly so not take your bike to these guys if you want it fixed. i took my gsxr 600 to them for a major service and fork seals, they got me for extra things that didn’t even need doing then it took me 11 weeks to get my bike back after harassing them about 4 times a week for it. then when i got my bike back it was running good for 2 days now there is a problem with it even though i asked them to go over the whole thing (they said they did) but now i’ve spent another 1000$ at another shop buying new coil sticks and now i need to buy new injectors. honestly don’t recommend

Bought my son his first dirt bike yesterday and Carl was extremely helpful. I had a couple of questions when I got it home and he called back right away to answer these for me. While I was at the shop all the other staff were happy to help and very friendly. It wasn't a huge sale for them but they made him feel very special and looked after him. The guys at MCA were also very helpful and spent a lot of time with him to ensure he bought the right sized gear. There's plenty of parking and the shop looks quite new and clean. Luckily they have great staff to mirror the facilities. Thanks again Carl and team.

Had a sensational purchase experience at On Two Wheels. All staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating, especially Adam who was my salesperson. Adam took me through the whole process for picking the bike, accessories and also riding gear. Went from having nothing to everything I needed and needed to know to be safe and have fun. On delivery Adam also went through everything on and about my bike so I was confident before I left the dealership. Had a great experience purchasing a new MT-07 HO from On Two Wheels. I had it shipped from their NSW shop to QLD and their service excelled. I had the shipping address changed and they worked to my needs. Nathan went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the bike prior to shipment, providing confirmation on the bikes serviceability and offered to send me videos of it running, he was also happy to provide and fit genuine aftermarket accessories. Paid a $200 deposit for a RC 390 yet to be published on the market back in Nov 2021, Patt said the deposit can be refund should I changed my mind. I did change my mind and request for a refund later, and from the day I left the shop I received 0 call from Patrick. Me myself called 7 times, got 7 different excuses and 7 promises of calling me back. 2022/09/20, still 0 calls. I have initiated a bank disputing action. Tell your excuses to the bank, Pat. You and your shop are pathetically greed over $200.

Feeling sorry that I can’t give five stars. The staff were friendly and I admit they were great until securing the purchase. After that I had difficulty with accomodating transferring the motor bike as I couldn’t get any response to my emails or calls. Finally I personally managed to prepare the delivery of bike. I was also promised to be called week later to be checked how I do with the Honda bike. Unfortunately nobody called me from 4 weeks ago I bought it till this moment

Jarrod and the team in the Bicycle section were fantastic, purchased a Trek MTB through Trek at Penrith, 2 months in and the front Disc brake started vibrating. Took it back to Trek penrith only for them to use up the free service and not solve the problem.. took my bike to the team at OTW and they knew what the issue was and fixed it quickly. What can I say…. I have bought many motorcycles in my time, maybe too many. I have also bought from numerous dealerships and this experience was hand on heart the best experience I have had. Nathan was a gentleman, very attentive and accommodating. From the start to finish this store is top class and the various shops / services nearby are fantastic if you need to drop your bike off and wait for a service. Highly recommended.

Just recently bought a bike from on two wheels at Gregory hill service there was amazing ,special shout out to Adam who was very helpful throughout the whole process of me buying my new bike ,they got a good range of bikes in there and with mca in the same building being very convenient for all your motorcycle needs in the one building, highly recommended on two wheels if your looking for a bike ur any motorcycle gear.

Absolute total rip off. Got a quote on my bike for smash repairs, came back for $5,500 worth of damage despite having nothing mechanically wrong with it. Couple major fairings ripped off and a few beat up from the accident, other than that, they couldn't even point out one mechanical faulty that would justify the price. Go Sydney City Motorcycles, AMX or literally anywhere else other than these clowns.

service department are a bunch of thieves to say the least, $425 for a service and all they really did was an oil change and oil filter, 2 hours labour charge, absolute joke. i should of had them price me first but clearly my silly fault, lost a 10 yr customer. well done.... also reporting me on fb and instagram to hide my comments instead of reaching out, thankfully there is google reviews

Highly recommend these people to give you a better understanding if you're looking at your first bike these guys will show you the right way to look or at least a better choice to make. Most expensive bike servicing ever. Minor servicing on MT03 2019 cost me +$400. No paperwork or briefing for their work, just invoice. Guys what do u do in servicing, never paid more than $200 at any place for service. My car minor servicing won't cost me that much in showroom. Thanks for everthing. Never ever recommend ur servicing to anyone... Thanks once again

Normally I have had zero problems with this place, however recent I was quoted $77 for the fitting of a tyre which was meant to include the disposal of the old tyre. Only to be hit with a bill of $99 to fit and additional fee for disposal of old. Will never use the services of the on two wheels workshop again.

Drove in 1 hour for a test drive, I am a returning rider with no helmet and wasn't told I needed one. Apparently due to COVID they don't provide loaner helmets. I had test driven with 4 dealerships previously all with loaner helmets. Get with the times guys.

Went down to this shop to for a tpi adjustment. The head mechanic quoted $130 an hour just to look at and said it’ll take more than 2hrs. Took the bike down Wollongong and was charged $120 for the whole thing. Absolute rip off and taking advantage of people.
