TL;DR: Great for casuals, hardcore gamers stay away. When I heard that a new arcade was opening up in New Orleans, I was very excited, and for the casual looker, this will fill their needs. However, a good number of issues prevent this location from being a regular spot for me. The main arcade is definitely a unique experience, with multiple non-traditional ticket games with inconsistent timing and huge RNG pools that make AP tough, though the prize selection is simple and has some good picks. Many of the selling points of this arcade include VR stations with a variety of experiences (no full games like Beat Saber, Superhot, or Pistol Whip), a driving simulator (not suitable for anyone who's played more traditional racing games like Forza or Grand Turismo), along with new laser tag setups and a small bumper car arena. As for the true arcade games, while I wasn't able to test Dance Central, I did take some time to play on a variety of their racing, fighting, shooter, and puzzle games. This is where it all breaks down. I'll call out two specific examples. One is the build of Outrun 2, which was actually a modified version of Outrun 2006 for PC. While it played fine, the game asks for a selection concerning car, course, and so on, then proceeds to dump back into a script that selects the options again for you, and then after some loading, starts. Okay, fine. Then the game starts, and all the music has been replaced with some random pop track?! The original rock and house tracks got replaced, and it just loops the same song over and over. Definitely not Outrun 2. Next, let's look at their multicades. While official multicades are available, if I mention "Pandora's Box" you should know what to expect. Inconsistent performance, a variety of unlicensed games, and easily the slowest game of Tetris Grand Masters I've played in my life. This system CRAWLS and I'm not kidding. This thing runs at about 30-50% speed and makes playing properly impossible. I had to stop after a minute of in game time (around 2:30 actual time) and move on. To finish off, the fighting games played well, and the controls were snappy despite not being Sanwa parts. No lag on SFV, and looking at another player doing Tekken 7, it wasn't bad at all. In conclusion, most people will come here for a bit and have an absolute blast, but this place is not suitable for anyone looking for an authentic arcade. The huge examples of running bootleg arcade games is a massive red flag and absolutely must be corrected before I come back in. I wish this company the best of luck in making a solid arcade, but I want to pay the people that developed these games, not an anonymous shell company producing random PCBs with illegal software. Background: I've been going to arcades for 20+ years, focusing on rhythm and hardcore games including DDR, PIU, SDVX, and a wide variety of classic games including Pac-Man, Tempest, Galaga, and Centipede.

I picked optimums entertainment for my son’s 6th birthday party, and the customer service was terrible. When it was time for my son’s party to start the party room still was not available because of the party before. The party room was not ready until 5:35, but I reserved it for 5. When talking to the manager I was told I still had to get out of the room for my original time and he could not extend my time because of other parties, which I did not understand because it was not my fault why the party started late. The communication is terrible as well because I was not told about the bumper car being broken when someone called for the deposit. Also when I tried to call the phones was turn off. I would not recommend to any family/friends based off of my experience.

I give 2 stars because I called 2 days to book a party with no succes at all. The 1st attempt.... nobody answered the phone the entire day .... I called the whole day periodically. The second attempt I called at 9am and talked to a gentleman who took down my info to possibly book a party because the host who handles birthday parties hadn’t made it into wrk yet and assured me that she would call when she got into work....... no one never called ! The third attempt was me driving to the location which I did and when I arrived I tried to inquire about the step to take to book a birthday party through an employee.... he walked off on me while I was talking to him and then snapped at me replying “ I don’t know”! I will not be returning.

Well we went there for my nephews party when we got there they said the party was not paid for so they had to go into the room and check the paperwork to see if the party was paid the lady came back and it was paid for maybe about 20 minutes into the party the father of the birthday boy came in and asked my brother did he leave his car window down the answer was no went outside and several cars windows were broken.The pizza is not all that good but the chicken tenders fries were OK we ordered a hot wings but they didn’t have any more wings in the building so we ended up Just telling them will settle for the tenders

This place is unorganized and they're not on the same page. The guy told me that my daughter needed socks to go in the play area, bought the socks. Then was told "oh she's too tall for the play area", why didn't you measure her before I purchased them. The games there are very mediocre, but 3 of them. This place seems like it was slapped together. Did I mention its very expensive. When there's Chucky Cheese and David and Busters, why even bother with this place. I hope it gets better, but for now me and my family won't be returning.

The game room is very limited, it's hot, and the bathrooms are a mess. The staff was nice, but I did not like how the owner Interacted with my 1q year old daughter then wouldn't even address me as her parent. My daughter was in the play center keeping an eye on her 5 year old brother as I asked her to. When the owner kicked her out and wouldn't let her explain why she was in there. My daughter came and told me what happened and the owner wouldn't even address me.

This is not the place to bring your kids, first I got my money took by the game cards machine & when I told the owner he just walked away, second after spending my cash on the cards I got for the second time putting my money in the machine I took my kids to the toddler play area & the worker told me I had to use my card 4 times for only 2 kids using every damn token off the card, third the nacho chips was stale & overall the customer service is HORRIBLE !!!!

It has potential but its lacking. It smells, hot and dark. Like almost pitch black besides lights on the games. I asked can the light be turned on because I had 2 toddlers with me and the manager said “no, this is how we keep it”. The toddler area needs to be cleaned. They require kids take their shoes off and their feet was filthy after playing and the area smelled like urine. If we wasn’t invited to a party we would have immediately left.

While the arcade is really nice. The food is horrible. ‍♀️ I ordered spinach Artichoke dip was watered down. The nachos are the cheap ones. The pizza is not good. They want $2 for cotton candy with only a little cotton candy on the stick. Please upgrade the food or you want be in business long. Good food will be the key to your success! Mimic Chuck E. Cheese menu possibly! Long wait time in line to get the play card & register!

Nice setup, with entertainment for toddlers up to adult. I was a guest at a party. Only complaint is I know I had more than 250 tickets on my card. When the man scanned it so I can redeem my prizes, he lied and told me I only had 76. He couldn't even look me in the eyes!! Cheap prizes anyway. I will not be returning.

Me and my kids finally have something to do around are house that we really enjoy but I don’t like the food I got the artichoke dip and it was watery and when I went back I ordered food and they had to do it over but I like the buzzer things to know when your food is ready and the burgers tasted raw …

My Husband and I bought our daughters for the first time and it was simply amazing.They did not want to leave after being there for almost 3hrs.We will be back soon since we stay not even a mile away from Optimus.And my daughter's decided that's where they want they party at this year.Awesome Day.

My little one absolutely loved it, they had plenty of ppl to assist with any questions, and what I loved most is the young lady who was monitoring the little kids play area was professional, she actually observed tge children while enforcing the rules and general safety

I just had a party here over the weekend and I must say that I was very impressed. The staff was very kind and worked hard to please my every need. Friendly environment, great food, a lot of parking, prompt and the attractions were great. Highly recommend this place!

Nice place for the kid's but he needs to figure out the games some didn't work. And some was partially rewarding. Kind of pricey for certain games but once they work it all out it will be a pleasant place for family gathering.

Great place for children's parties and outings! So much for them to do in a safe space. The food was delicious and the workers kept a watchful eye one the children for their safety. I can hardly wait to go back! Fun time!

Prices are kind of high. Pizza and nacho cheese could be better. Other then that the kids enjoyed themselves. Oh to many bumper cars and not enough space for all the riders to move around. Get place for kids of all ages.

Fun arcade has some premium attractions but some where offline. No outside food or drink, unless prearranged for a party. 25$ gets you like 140-150 tokens most things are 8 with bumper cars/laser tag are 20.

The card for the machine had to scan it a couple of times before it be accepted. Plus, a lot the machine was getting jammed. So the tickets wasn't coming out. The prize candy was still.
