Do not use this company! I’m not sure how Oxwash gets such good reviews. We were first time customers requesting a mixed colour wash and wash for our bedding. On the day of the delivery, I was told that they had no ridders and would need to deliver our laundry the next day. This wasn’t convenient as both my husband and I wouldn’t be at home, after pushing them to sort the issue, the washing was delivered by Uber, not the best from an eco friendly company. We then checked the washing and the duvet cover had a strange red shade to it. There was also a huge stain on one pillow case and another on the other. We contacted the company who offered us no reimbursement. They confirmed that under their terms and conditions they had the right to rectify the problem. Given the state of the bedding, these stains would be impossible to remove. It was also explained that we wouldn’t be at home for the next few days for pick up so it wasn’t convenient. They still wouldn’t provide any compensation and customer services wouldn’t escalate our complaint. Terrible customer service!

I needed to wash a double mattress cover that didn't fit in my washing machine. Another local business was quoting a 9-day turnaround. Oxwash did it in 2 days with doorstep pick-up/drop-off all for £7 (if I'd ordered earlier I could've paid for a 1 day service too, I believe). Item came back very clean. Toby and Jeremy were friendly and helpful on both the phone and the doorstep. The website experience is good enough, and SMS updates were useful (although they all came from different numbers, a little annoying). When we received our clean item, it came in an Oxwash bag. We didn't get our own bag back at first, but Jeremy went out of his way to make sure we did. This is a five-star service. I don't know quite how Oxwash can offer it at this price with the doorstep pick-up. I hope the prices are sustainable.

My youngest daughter set up the Oxwash service for me. It enables me to remain independent in my own home. My daughter found Oxwash on recommendation from a local community page. The initial set up was easy. The ease of booking in of the washing for collection is user friendly, an email notification is sent of the day and the time slot to be collected as well as the return of the clean laundry. The service is affordable and very reliable. The laundry comes back clean, dry and beautifully folded. I just need to unpack and put away. A text message is sent when and who is on their way to collect/return laundry as well as checking using live updates. I highly recommend the service that oxwash offers.

Washing machine decided to play up and a new one can’t be delivered until our neighbours scaffolding is down which will be weeks yet . We had a pick up on Tuesday -which was swift and easy. Delivery back on Thursday with everything pressed and immaculate-they even got a stain out that I hadn’t been able to remove. And even better no chemical smells! Heaven! Highly recommended will use again, 3rd visit in and frankly I cannot recommend highly enough- they are superb and when you have executive dysfunction issues like me this works out cheaper than when I forget to take my washing out and it either goes mouldy or I end up rewashing 5 times.

I was unsure of this service because it just seemed way too easy and hassle free. I booked a laundry pickup and drop off service at my London hotel all online - I didn’t have to call or speak to anyone at all. Sure enough, they picked up as indicated from the hotel concierge desk and sent me an email upon pick up. I asked for a rush service (24hr turnaround) and sure enough they dropped off my clean load of laundry on time at the hotel concierge. I cannot recommend this service enough. It’s easy and reliable, and a must for those traveling abroad especially because hotel laundry services are so expensive!

The customer service is responsive and helpful. The price is very competitive. Pick up and return time are spot on. I send a mattress topper which had no washing instruction and I ask for a delicate washing, I wasn’t expecting to see the little spot disappear just to actually wash the item and have it clean; However I was expecting the topper to “smell clean” but it came back with no scent of laundry and it feel so weird. This is the only reason why I do not give 5 stars.

Whilst waiting for my washing machine to be fixed, I really needed a reliable laundry service. In London, this can be quite difficult to find and the service from some providers are not great. I found Oxwash from a Google search and was pleasantly surprised at thier competitive pricing given they were eco friendly. The service was great, laundry arrived on time, all clothes were clean and neatly folded. Would definitely recommend and will use again.

Update to the below: I finally got ahold of someone in customer service. They were unable to locate my bedding. I paid £150 to replace the bedding (purchased the exact same bedding again) and the compensation they offered me was £32. I sent my bedding and towels to be washed. They lost ALL my bedding and have been completely ignoring my emails and there is no one answering phones. Strongly recommend finding another option for these services.

My order has apparently been "delivered" and yet I haven't received it, and I have already wasted twenty minutes walking around my office building trying to find it. The cyclist cannot be contacted and there is no way of speaking to an actual person at Oxwash to get this issue sorted (only a redundant auto reply mechanism which is completely useless). A complete waste of my time and defeats the point in using the service entirely.

Great service. The rider is always on time, and the laundry has always been clean and folded nicely. Always feels Covid-safe, masks and 2 metres etc. The staff are thoughtful and professional: when we left a wallet in a pocket, the rider came back at no charge to return it; and when the rider learned we have a small baby, he started tapping lightly on the door instead of knocking to avoid waking the baby. We're really impressed.

I have a number of items that won't fit in my washing machine, so decided to try Oxwash. What a fantastic service! The website was easy to use, prices are fair, turnaround quick and riders so friendly. I knew exactly when my items were going to be collected and returned, thanks to the tracking capability. I particularly love Oxwash's green credentials and door-to-door service. An excellent service that I will be using again!

I needed a bridesmaid dress dry cleaning and had heard good things about Oxwash. The website and ordering process were really easy to use and the 48 hour turnaround was super fast. To have the dress collected and delivered back to me was very helpful and the rider was really friendly too! My dress looks as good new, I would definitely recommend Oxwash to anyone and will definitely use them again.

Amazing service. I have been using Oxwash while renovating our house and living in a temporary accommodation. With a small child and a baby I’ve been finding it hard to keep on top of our weekly washing. Great service, always picked up and delivered within the booked slot. Contacted their customer service to make changes, they were very helpful and friendly. Very impressed overall.

Amazing service by a great company. I live in Croydon but bring my clothes to work in Camberwell where the Oxwash team collect the clothes. The turn around time is very quick and their customer service is fast and very helpful. They offer Wet Cleaning, which is more eco friendly and actually gives better results, particularly for suits that have an odour. Highly recommend Oxwash!

Very easy to use and to place an order, the standard of cleaning is excellent and the communication from the pick-up to delivery is very reliable and efficient. Also, the customer service via the website is very good and responsive- I submitted a few enquiries about confusion around payment methods and they got back to me straight away via e-mail. Tried oxwash for the first time and I am afraid I can't recommend them. They collected my clothes and a week later I received an email saying these had been successfully cleaned and returned- when in fact it hadn't. Upon opening a support ticket, they eventually found my clothes and returned it. Two stars for not completely losing it, but not risking it again.

This is a great service. I had a puffer coat cleaned (very difficult to do at home). It is beautifully cleaned and spruced up as I would expect, and the process of collection and delivery worked perfectly. Most of all, it's great that there is now a way of cleaning that isn't polluting. I will be using Oxwash again.

My first time using Oxwash for feathered pillows. Simple and straight forward to order. Customer service was responsive to my queries. Delivery was late. Courier moaned when I couldn’t leave a meeting to go out of my way to meet him. And then once my meeting finished and could find out where his game of hide and seek. £30 later for a coat and a few shirts, and he sarcastically thanked me when I met him. Not the service you’d expect.

I have used Oxwash for my Airbnb property to get my bedding and towels clean. They offer an excellent and professional door to door laundry service which takes the time out of guest turnarounds. I would highly recommend them.

Good quality clean. One problem is the app is pretty rigid and I had something urgent come up but didn’t have the option to change my delivery date and time on the Oxwash app, even two days in advance.

The prices are the same as other clears but the turnaround times are quite slow. I wouldn’t use them unless I had big loads to carry and could wait a while to get my clothes back.
