On August 4th, 2023, I made an attempt to check in early, only to be met with the disheartening news that my room was not yet available. Despite assurances that I would be notified when the room was prepared, I found myself waiting in an echoing silence. The behavior of your front office manager, Ashvini, was nothing short of astonishing - her unaccommodating demeanor and rudeness were a shocking deviation from the level of service I had expected. In a baffling twist, it fell upon me to reach out to the bookings team to ascertain whether my room had finally become available. This was due to the front desk's vague and unhelpful responses. Luckily, I had the fortune of speaking to Emily from the bookings team, who turned out to be a beacon of competence and assurance. It was she who confirmed that my room was indeed ready. Amidst this vast sea of disappointment, there emerged a singular glimmer of hope - an unnamed gentleman at the reception who appeared to grasp the concept of basic customer service. Unfortunately, your staff's inability to communicate crucial information was only exacerbated by my having to personally contact the bookings team for confirmation. The bitter irony lies in the fact that a process that should have been seamless and stress-free metamorphosed into a colossal letdown. My earnest wish is that this critique jolts your establishment into a thorough reevaluation of its service and communication protocols. The time for substantive improvements is long overdue if you intend to rescue any semblance of customer satisfaction from the brink of irrelevance.

My overall experience with Park Royal Monash was horrible. To begin with there was no support from front desk in any aspect, we tried to gather some information from the front desk regarding the traveling options, but what we heard with every option was “No”. Even for a bottle of water they said that it can only be given to members but we can give you one for now, and truly it felt like they were doing a favour on us by offering a bottle of water. The front desk staff named Sailesh was quite in cooperative in terms of making our stay comfortable. Talking about the Hotel Facilities, those were kind of upsetting too. Park Royal shares the swimming pool with the residents of next tower. The pool was quite far from rooms. And the Gym was also a public Gym. Overall the only saviour among everything was there breakfast. The cook was very nice and the overall food options were also quite genuine. So the only star which I am giving is for the breakfast, and also there is another point to note that Park Royal Monash is quite far from Melbourne Airport, almost it take 2+ hours to reach the hotel from Airport. Same goes with the attractions everything is quite far from hotel and it takes almost 1 plus hour to reach a destination, considering if you are specifically going for tourism this hotel is a bad choice because a lot of time is wasted in commuting and there are very limited food options near to the hotel. Overall I would never like to book my stay with Park Royal again.

Had an extremely bad experience. We booked 2 nights for our wedding anniversary. Went to the bar at lunch time to get some drinks, bar was closed due to no staff. At breakfast, I was carrying my 9 months old baby, and I asked the waitress for a high chair and the waitress pointed to the high chairs at the other end of the restaurant and said go help yourself. That was quite rude. Also, the housekeeping staff that (couldn't speak english) woke up my baby from her nap twice they came to knock on our door when we had it on DND. And when I ask them to come back after half after my baby woke up, they still continue to knock on the door. On the last day, we went to use the swimming pool as we couldn’t use it the first day because the pool is shared with residents from the M City apartments. Which was disappointing when we found out. The staff at front desk disconnected our pass for the hotel at 12pm when our check out was at 1pm and we got stuck in the shopping centre with our swim wear and the kids for 25 minutes and I didn't have my phone on me and had to ask a random person at the shopping centre to call front dest and ask to speak to management and she managed to come and get us and take us back to the hotel. Worst experience, this is far from luxury and wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Shocking experience on 27 December . Various issues : 1. Lift access system non functioning, room key cards not allowing access to guest levels across the board 2. Guests disturbed by loud banging and swearing on doors at 12.30am in the morning . This hotel offers competitive rates but unfortunately seems to attract the wrong people 3. False alarm and evacuation broadcast across the entire hotel at 1.30am. Many families with small children woken in the middle of the night. Apparently due to a guest smoking in the room. No key card access meant there was a huge delay in getting back to rooms. 4. Another evacuation broadcast at 5am , apparently another guest was smoking in their room This was meant to be a overnight experience for our family away from home to enjoy the pool and breakfast but we could not enjoy a thing due to not being able to sleep . The moment you could fall back asleep after false alarm one the next false alarm triggered . There is an issue with the management of guest smoking at this hotel . I would expect a full refund at the very least .

Very mixed bag here not consistent with 4 star facilities. It's a new hotel with low occupancy above the MCity shopping complex with direct access to the car park. Staff are all very friendly and smiling, but need more training on the product offering.

Super comfy bed and nice shower. Automatic blinds and range of lighting. Room keeping is random - some items removed, some items replenished, some things cleaned. No coffee machine. Annoying chair has no castors. Love the Ottoman. Air Con extremely noisy due to vibrations, had to turn it off to sleep. No bottled water which is part of the PARKROYAL amenities list.

Breakfast is acceptable but not great, most items over cooked. Bar is poor, with inexperienced staff and lengthy delays. Dinner is excellent and worth eating here.

Hotel looked good at first glance. Soon discovered used personal items near the bed by the previous guest in the room and no soap in the shower dispenser. House keeping to refill soap never came although we rang twice. We wanted to reflect our experience with hotel staff at the front desk, however we were met with negativity, they were extremely defensive. After making it sound like they did nothing wrong, they said a non genuine sorry, obvious they didn’t mean it and was taught to say it. Very bad customer service all round. Reviewing under my name instead of my partner who booked so that they cannot contact us, we are over their attitude. Upside was the breakfast, cudos to the chef. But a good omelette is not enough to bring us back again.

The most fantastic hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Seriously the staff here are so brilliant and extremely helpful. They young man at the bottom level reception lead me to the most amazing burger joint which was right outside. It was very tasty but nothing compared to the incredible breakfast the next morning. The hotel restaurant is on another level. They poached those eggs to perfection. The room was easily the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced. Cup cakes with this incredible white chocolate ganache, a King size bed and one of those showers that just flows like a waterfall. One night was not enough time for me to take in everything. Can’t wait to book my next stay at the Park Royal Monash.

We arrived at 9:00pm checked in and got settled in our room. We were asleep 30 minutes when the fire alarm goes off. This would have been fine but by 2:00am the alarm was still going. At that point we ask if we could get a refund for both days booked (were told yes) and went home (3 hour drive). We booked for two nights but didn’t feel comfortable staying there after our horrible experience. When we called to double check the refund the next day they said they were working on it and when we called again today were told we could only get a refund for the night the alarm went off. The whole experience was handled unprofessionally and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel has a very nice location which is beside the mall, they have access to the mall itself which is nice when you like to watch a movie or shop. If you want to access the pool, you have to pass by the mall first so be sure to be on your clothes first and change your clothes at the shower area unlike us. We went to the pool on our robes already and pass by the public mall area. It was a funny experience but hope this review helps. Breakfast buffet was great , they had a lot of options and if you want to workout , they have a connection with Snap fitness which great since they have all kinds of equipment.

The building is pretty new, so rooms are in good condition. However, the swimming pool is too far away as its located at the Village building. One thing I'm disappointed with is no housekeeping at all for 3 nights. I called directly from room and the lady said she would send someone to clean up, but no one came up. I asked at the reception a few hours later and he said he would send someone up. I came back in a few hours, but my room was not touched at all! I never seen any housekeepers in the hallway during my stay at all...

Fantastic stay would highly recommend, everything you need is downstairs in main shopping area. The Deluxe Suite is great for families it was very spacious the view of the dandenong ranges was beautiful. The Buffet Breakfast was a nice bonus everything was fresh and constantly changed it is a delicious simple buffet breakfast menu. I would like to compliment the Staff they were all attentive, lovely and made my stay comfortable i will definetly stay here again for a mini getaway.

It’s really bad experience. 1) The smell will travel from B2 to the 5th floor along the elevator. 2) On the third day of stay, the underground parking access sensor failed, the elevator sensor failed, the room card sensor failed, and the hot water pressure in the bathroom was not strong enough. 3) I didn't expect that there was a service switch for cleaning the room before going out today. When I came back in the evening, I saw that the room was not cleaned. It was really unbelievable. This is the first time I have stayed in so many hotels. It's too bad.

We stayed here for our anniversary on Friday 23rd of April and what an awesome hotel. Great location especially if you have kids. Our room was perfect, it was a King room on the 9th floor which came with free breakfast for 2, welcome drink on arrival and free parking and free internet. We had a lovely breakfast with a view, absolutely delicious. Big shout out to Jason and Marcus and the breakfast team for awesome customer service. We will see you in a few weeks for round 2.

Horrible service. No help with luggage though we checked in before midnight. Room cleaning never happened unless requested, missed 3 days out of 6! Mostly we used our own toiletries and only asked for fresh towels. Beds were very uncomfortable and sagged in the middle. 2 bottles of water and a tetra pack of milk was handed over to bring in with our luggage. Never got placed again. Cleanliness was the only saving grace!

Had such a lovely experience, the staff were super helpful, patient and very kind. The room was very clean and the beds were soft. I went down for a free breakfast and was seated by a very polite gentleman who showed me a menu of all the foods, the food was delicious. It’s a good location too theres a cinema and a bowling alley very close by if that interests you. Will definitely be staying again thank you to all the staff for making my stay excellent :))

Staying here over the Easter break The room is amazing, great space but the service I wouldn't say is amazing. We asked for a extra set of sheets which never came the 2 nights we stayed and when we asked for a set of fresh towels so we could go to the pools, it took 3 tries until I had to go to reception in my swimming suit to get towels. Until that happened we finally had room service. Which gave you an extra star. Breakfast was A++ I would recommend that

This hotel and its staff are absolutely amazing!! We spent 8 nights here whilst spending time with my dad in Monash Medical Centre and they did everything possible to make our stay one to remember! One of the duty manager's even organised some gifts/toys for our 6 year old son to pass the time with! The rooms are spacious and so comfortable, all the facilities are top notch and the breakfast is bloody delicious!! I cannot recommend this place enough!!

Staff are great, rooms are nice and big but very dusty. Looks like they haven’t been vacuumed in a while. My son and husband are allergic to dust and developed a rash from the bed. We had to sleep on top of the blanket. Housekeeping needs improvement. Disappointing to not have a microwave in the Jnr King Suite as I needed one to sterilise my babies bottles. Room service menu isn’t great either. Wish there were more options. Best part of our stay was the buffet breakfast.

The staff (Reception, Restaurant, Bar)are very friendly and polite. All our needs were met specially our wedding shoots inside the hotel, they'd allow us to have it anywhere. The breakfast was really good. The place is very convenient as there are heaps of restos and shops on the ground floor. Perfect place go check-in. We stayed in this room for 2 nights. The room was on the 6th floor and the view was very good. Check-in was easy and quick. Hotel entrance is almost next to restaurants, coffee shops and all public areas were clean, tidy, and well maintained. The temperature settings didn't work well. Although the temperature was set to 28Celsius, the room temperature reached only 22Celsius. It was not too bad but this needs to be fixed.

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were lovely and so accomodating, the hotel had everything you need including a pool, a decent breakfast and a swipe card to get you in to the 24/7 snap fitness below. The location was so convenient with a Woolworths, Kmart and abundance of restaurants and cafes below. Before we checked out we booked again for next month as we enjoyed our stay so much. Thanks guys!

Great friendly staff both on the front desk and the cleaners .... The wait staff are very friendly too ... Location is awesome being just above the shopping centre , and the food court is just brilliant in price and in quality .... The cinema we didn't use but good to know it's there if we decided to watch a movie... Also short drive to other places so found that great too . Really good experience here for the 99% of the stay. Only feedback - we requested an additional towel twice and never received. We were also wanting to stay an additional night but received conflicting prices from 2 separate staff … one person told us it would be $207 and we could remain in our upgraded room and another person told us it was $369 to stay in the room we had been moved to or $207 but had to move.

Stayed for 2 nights this week. Beds are terribly uncomfortable and the room thermostat seems to only blue or freezing air even when I change the temperature. Needed an iron for my clothes and both the one in the room and the replacement leaked over everything forcing me to pay for dry cleaning. Don't even bother trying to use the gym! It is not in house and they seem to only have 2 passes for the entire hotel. Very disappointing!

We had an event on Friday night and decided to treat ourselves to a few nights at the hotel. The rooms are clean and bright with great amenities. The venue space was absolutely amazing and the service was top class - huge thanks to Ryan and his team. Excellent buffet breakfast. The hotel is in a great location with heaps of shops at the door. Looking forward to coming back.

Only stay if you like to evacuate throughout the night. I'm a regular stayer since late Feb/early March and have had multiple evacuations during my stay. My colleagues who have stayed at different times have also evacuated. Rooms are modern and clean and staff are lovely however their fire system is faulty. Beware you could evacuate during your stay. Sorry but I will not be staying here in future.

Bed was comfortable, clean bathroom and great shower. Breakfast buffet was great and the staff were friendly. I couldn't fault this hotel or the quality of anything. Felt comfortable and all our needs were met by the hotel itself and the location.

The staff were so brilliant, Jackie at reception was a great help and so easy to talk to, brilliant person. The breakfast was so amazing and we were well looked after while dining. Room service was immaculate and the view to go with such a great clean room was amazing. I will definitely be visiting again. Thanks to everyone at Park Royal.

Really good location the complex has a movie cinema lots of different places to eat, the hotel has a gym and a pool really good room service customer service was brilliant very welcoming, the room I got for the night was big. This was the nicest hotel experience I have ever had. Not only was the suite we stayed in really well appointed, but the staff are super friendly and approachable, and when our stay was unfortunately cut short by circumstances outside our control, they were incredibly helpful and understanding. Oh, I want to mention, the bed in the deluxe suite is the single most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in.

Went for my wedding anniversary and had a great 2 night stay. The breakfast was delicious and I slept in a very comfortable bed and the pillows were so fluffy like your head is on a cloud. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. One more thing to mention is the parking is for free.

This place is soooooo clean! Much better than Novotel or whatever. Food was delicious and all the shops and restaurants were perfectly placed. AND there are sooo many rewards. Recommend this place to people who want a nice hotel to be in Melbourne. They even have joined rooms, each with it’s own bed and bathroom! Love this place definitely coming here again.

Loved it. It's new n fresh and the room we had was spacious, bathrooms are modern with a rain shower head. Great location. Shops n restaurants underneath plus the hotel bar n restaurant. Room faces the street which is a little nosiey during the day but we slept fine. Breakfast had a reasonable selection. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Happy with our stay.

Had a great stay here overnight, view of the runway was great! Super quiet room, great shower facilities. Breakfast buffet was definitely a hit, couldn't get any better. Also room service meals were good. Only issue was that the room wasn't cleaned properly. Grubby finger marks on the glass tables, dust beside the bed and windows.

A bit far from the city but loves the nice and quiet environment. Very nice spacious room which is a plus. Great room service/meals. Convenient to shops and food - plus plus... Would definitely stay there again.
