As a cat lover and rescuer, I have had multiple experiences with the Paw Lifecare Center, and unfortunately, my overall impression has been disappointing. My encounters with this vet clinic have left me feeling frustrated and disheartened. My first visit to Paw Lifecare Center was during the winter of 2022, when I brought in five kittens that I had rescued from the streets. They had contracted the panleukopenia virus, and the clinic administered the initial round of injections and instructed me to come back for the next dose the following day. However, when the condition of the kittens worsened, I requested for them to be kept under observation overnight, but I was informed that there were no facilities for overnight observation. As a result, only two of the kittens survived, as the others succumbed to breathing problems and hypothermia, which could have potentially been prevented with proper overnight care. In another instance, I brought in an adult cat that I had found wounded with a high fever. The clinic administered flu medicine, but the cat unfortunately passed away that same night. Despite the cat's critical condition, I felt that the clinic's response lacked urgency and empathy. I also had an experience with a purebred tabby kitten that I rescued, which had severe diarrhea. The clinic diagnosed it as a case of poisoning and prescribed oral medication. However, the kitten passed away within 48 hours of starting the treatment, leading me to believe that it may have been misdiagnosed. Furthermore, when I brought in one of my cats that had fallen from the fifth floor of my building and suffered injuries, the clinic administered some medication and asked me to come back the next day. Sadly, my cat passed away that same night due to head injuries, and I felt that the clinic could have taken more proactive measures in such a critical situation. Despite these experiences, I tried other vet clinics in the Mohammadpur area, but none were better than Paw Lifecare Center. However, my recent visit to the clinic on April 17, 2023, with a kitten diagnosed with Calici virus left me feeling disappointed yet again. The prescribed oral medication caused the kitten to stop eating, and it became fearful of injections and even me as the caregiver. Sadly, the kitten passed away on April 19, 2023. While I acknowledge that Paw Lifecare Center provides basic services, I have found their lack of compassion and empathy towards their patients concerning. Additionally, the clinic seems to lack proper equipment and facilities for overnight observation, which could potentially save lives in critical situations. As a result, I have made the difficult decision to not bring any more cats to this clinic and will continue my search for better options that prioritize the well-being and care of the animals.

প্রাণির পক্ষে আরেকটা বিজয়- আইনি নোটিশে প্রতিকার পাওয়া গেল । "পোষাপ্রাণি এবং অন্য কোন প্রাণি থেকে কোভিড-১৯ ছড়ায়"- এই ভুল তথ্য ছড়িয়ে পড়েছিল সব জায়গায়। শুরু হয়েছিল প্রাণিদের উপর নতুন অত্যাচার। এই গুজবের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ ঘোষণা করেছিল PAW Foundation এবং সচেতন গণমাধ্যম কর্মীরা। আমি ব্যক্তিগত ভাবেও অনেক প্রানিপ্রেমির হতাশার কথা, কষ্টের কথা জেনেছি, আইনি উদ্যোগের অনুরোধ পেয়েছি । এই অবস্থায় PAW Foundation (People for Animal Welfare) রাখে অনবদ্য ভূমিকা । PAW Foundation এর পক্ষে প্রতিকার চেয়ে লিগ্যাল নোটিশ পাঠাই সংশ্লিষ্ট সকল বিভাগে। কিছুটা দেরীতে হলেও উত্তর এবং প্রতিকার মিলেছে স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তর থেকে। তারা জানালো পোষাপ্রাণি থেকে তো নয়ই অন্য কোন প্রাণি থেকেও আমাদের দেশে কোভিড-১৯ সংক্রমনের তথ্য ভুল ও অপরিক্ষিত ছিল। "পোষাপ্রাণি এবং অন্য কোন প্রাণি থেকে কোভিড-১৯ ছড়ায়" সংক্রান্ত সকল প্রকারের প্রচারনা, বিজ্ঞাপন তুলে নেয়া হয়েছে বলে জবাবে জানানো হয়েছে । সেই সঙ্গে সংশ্লিষ্ট সকল পক্ষ, দপ্তর এবং প্রশাসনকে এই রকমের বিভ্রান্তিকর তথ্য প্রচার বন্ধে ভূমিকা নিতে বলা হয়েছে। সত্যি, প্রাণিদের জীবন ও অধিকার রক্ষায় এটি একটি অনন্য বিজয় । অনেক ধন্যবাদ এবং কৃতজ্ঞতা PAW Foundation এবং সংশ্লিষ্ট সকলকে। সংগ্রহঃ ব্যারিস্টার শিহাব উদ্দিন খান

They are inexperienced and careless to the extent that because of them my pet cat has lost a leg. He had fallen from a great height and his thigh bone had crushed. They gave him wrong treatment couldn't even plaster his leg. Soon infection started spreading and the oozing built a ball type of thing hanging from his leg, gagrin formed and his leg had to be cut off completely. I cannot express what i went through and i want to warn others as well. One healthy cat who could be healed within a week with right treatment went through unbearable pain and lost a whole organ. They were supposed to run an NGO and willingly help sick animals for free but instead they are taking money for making their lives worse.

কোনোভাবেই এখানে যাবেন না । প্রতি ভিজিট এ 500 টাকা নিবে। একদিন শুধু আমার বিড়ালের টেম্পারেচার ম্যাপসে আর কিছুই বলেনি। তাও ভিজিট নিসে 500 । আর আমাকে বলসে , আমার বিড়ালের পায়মেট্র হইসে , এখনই অপারেশন ছাড়া বাঁচবে না । অথচ আমার বিড়ালের ভ্যাকসিন দেয়া নাই। ওরা আমাকে বলসে , ভ্যাক্সিন দেয়ার মত নাকি সময় নাই বিড়ালের অবস্থা অনেক খারাপ। আর এত ঠান্ডায় বিড়ালের অপারেশন করতে বলেছিল । কোন ভাল ভেট ভ্যাক্সিন ছাড়া অপারেশন করার কথা বলবেনা। আর উনি আমাকে বলছেন , অপারেশন করলে ঠান্ডায় মধ্যে বাঁচার চান্স 50 /50 । কিন্তু সার্জারী ছাড়া নাকি বাঁচানো যাবে না । আমি অন্য ভেট দেখিয়ে ভাল চিকিৎসা পেয়েছি। এদের কাছে কেউ যাবেন না। এরা কসাই ।

!!!PLEASE READ!!! Waited outside the building because the door was closed, no one answered the phone while we were calling. After about 30 min they opened but then left leaving us clueless what to do. We sat there for another 20 minutes then finally someone came asking us for details after we gave it. Apparently the doctor was on her lunch break so we had to wait for another 50 min or so for her to finish. When I met the doctor she wasn't very friendly at all. Was rude but she did look onto my cat properly but the behaviour wasn't satisfactory.

This is a very small place for keeping pets and treat but still they provide a good service as much as they can. Veterinarian is always present so that people can get seamless service. Apart from very critical illness they treat anything there. Lack of proper diagnostic equipments, like any other pet care center in Bangladesh, they are mostly limited on their experience, expertise and symptoms to give treatment. People working there are cordial and hardworking. You can get cat food and other accessories there.

A really really cordial pet clinic this is. It is situated in lalmatia and its very easy to go there. The vet is Md. Shaddam Patwary and the assistant is Md. Mirazul Islam. They treat cats, dogs, birds, rabbits etc. Vaccination, spaying, neutering, deworming, grooming etc services are available there. There is also a store named PAW store. Its sells pet food and toys. The profit from this directly goes to animal welfare. They also have a shelter where they keep street animals who needs extra care.

কিছুদিন আগে গিয়েছিলাম। আমার বিড়াল লুফি কে নিয়ে, ওর ডায়রিয়া হয়েছিল। ভেতরের পরিবেশ মোটামুটি ভালোই ছিল। আগে থেকে কোম অ্যাপয়েন্টমেন্ট নিতে হয় নি, যাওয়ার পর সিরিয়াল অনুযায়ী ডাক্তার দেখাতে হয়েছে। তাদের ব্যবহার ভালো ছিল এবং ট্রিটমেন্ট ও ভালো ছিল, স্যালাইন ও কিছু মেডিসিন দেওয়া হয় এবং লুফি সুস্থ হয়ে উঠে, কোনো সমস্যা হয় নি। নরমালি ডাক্তারের ভিজিট ৬০০৳, তবে স্টুডেন্ট হওয়ায় ছাড় দিয়ে তা ৪০০৳ করে দেওয়া হয়। পাশাপাশি কুকুর-বিড়ালের খেলনা/খাবার সহ বিভিন্ন জিনিস এইখানে পাওয়া যায়, চাইলে কিনে নিতে পারেন এইখান থেকে।

Vet Saddam Patwary having good reputation for his quality treatment, helpful guys there, I have send some rescued dogs in this clinic and their treatment is good, they are also doing surgeries, spy, neutering animals, many of my acquaintances like their services, if they decrease their charges for road side rescued animals, it will be more helpful for rescuers.

My 5+ year old cat stopped eating for a few days. So they checked and gave a prescription of 3-4 meds. We followed accordingly. And now my cat is cured and eating her regular food like before. I guess it would be wise to reserve a serial number through a phone call before arriving or you'd have to wait for 2-3 hour with your sick pet before your time comes up. And make sure your pet is comfortable on the way to the clinic.

The doctor misjudged my kitten's condition, and forced him with painful and unnecessary procedures. The helpers were absolutely unprofessional, and carried out the procedures hastily which caused my kitten intense pain. I don't mind paying them heftily only if they could provide the right treatment. At the end of the day, My mother and my sister got some home remedies and managed to recover my kitten's health.

They take great care of pets! These people have such a nice heart! They charge less for rescued animals. The doctors are really diligent and experienced. God bless them. I have taken my pets their 7 times. Very satisfied with their service. N.B. you may have to wait up to an hour sometimes for a visit because they have such a long queue. But they will carefully check your paw!

I was looking for a good pet clinic to vaccinate my puppy. The vaccine schedule they gave me was not scientifically acceptable. So, I decided not to take vaccine from them. However, they have basic facilities to provide treatment to pet. They must need to improve the store and space of the clinic. Entrance of the place is not convenient for pet.

Paw pet shop is the best pet shop I have seen ever. I always buy things for my baby from here. Their behaviour is soo good. Accidently I gave them 180 taka more but they return me the money in Bkash. The products is also in reasonable price. I trust this place and recommend to all.

With the help of the Dr. And his associates they saved my cat. Their fees are also highly reasonable. They also save and treat highly wounded animals for free. They have at least 2-3 animals under treatment on their own. Which are rescued by them. Highly recommended.
