I recently had my bike serviced at this shop and I must say, I was extremely impressed with their speedy and efficient service. I dropped off my bike in the morning and by the end of the day, it was in perfect working condition. The staff at the shop were friendly and knowledgeable, and they were able to diagnose and fix the issues with my bike quickly. They explained everything they were doing and why, so I felt confident in their work. I was also pleased with the pricing of the service. It was very reasonable and I felt like I got great value for my money. Overall, I would highly recommend this bike shop to anyone in need of bike repairs or servicing. The staff is professional, the service is fast, and the prices are fair. I will definitely be returning for any future bike needs.

Wonderful seeing a bike shop in the neighborhood still! Needed two tire swaps and tubes changed, I called in they are open on Sundays. The owner operator was there he is hands on passionate courteous efficient and overall seems genuine and honest. I was riding in no time. Thank you. Ill have to come back for a tune up in the near future. Reasonable costs for bike shop. Just remember small businesses grow on CASH sales. Its has been like that for a few thousand years. The owner, Marlin, is a passionate cyclist. He is eager to help others enjoy the sport. I like the personal, local community connection that combines with knowledgeable experience to deliver exceptional service. The store front at Pembina and Chevrier (where Alter Ego Sports used to be) has been downsized for efficiency but still offers a wide variety of options, parts and onsite service.

I have had consistent, excellent experiences here. The service is prompt, and high-quality. The owner and the employees are kind and knowledgeable. Other big name cycle stores in Winnipeg always come off way too expensive and pretentious. This store is a level above the others and I will go out of my way to continue going to it.

Took my bike in for repair here as he was able to take care of it promptly. Old parts were shown after along with an explanation of what was done and why. Plus when I had come in previously and he didn't have the part on hand, he still gave advice on what I needed to look for. Will return for future repairs!

Best bike shop in the city, hands down. Nicest and most patient service I've ever had. Husband had a breakdown nearby and the staff repaired his bike on the spot. If you need anything bike related, don't bother going anywhere else, go straight to Popeyes Cycle and Sports! We'll definitely be back!

I took my bike there on a Friday for a tune up and it was ready on Sunday. Many other shops have much slower turn around. It's such a handy place for a bike store since it is right on the cycling route on Pembina and the transit corridor. It's a small business I will continue to happily support.

brought my diadora yellow bike there 2 weeks ago for a bottom bracket and rear rim replacement took me in right away was ready by the next friday really pleased with speedy service he really cleaned it all up thank you so much for that one great work you do thank you so much worth the money

What a nice and pleasant surprise Popeyes is. Dropped into the store to look at a fat tire bike for my wife and ended up getting a whole bunch more. Great selection, great prices but the best was the friendly and helpful service. Popeyes is now my go to cycle shop in the city.

Would highly recommend this bike shop! Marlan was able to get my bike in for service right away when the other big bike shops was almost a month wait or longer! Very happy with the service there and will definitely go again. Bike is riding like new again!
