My recent visit to PVR Plaza, CP turned out to be a nightmarish experience that I would rather forget. The incident that unfolded was not only disheartening but also a stark reminder of the lackluster attitude of the staff when it comes to handling conflicts and providing a respectful environment for their patrons. The trouble began when I found myself seated next to an individual who appeared to be in a confrontational mood. As the movie began, it became clear that this person had no intention of simply enjoying the film. Instead, they engaged in a verbal altercation with me, which quickly escalated into a physical altercation. The situation was distressing and alarming, as one would expect from a place that claims to provide entertainment and relaxation. What truly shocked me, however, was the staff's complete inability to manage the situation. Instead of promptly intervening and diffusing the tension, they stood by idly as the situation escalated. It was abundantly clear that the staff was not adequately trained to handle such incidents and that their priority was far from ensuring the safety and comfort of the patrons. In addition to their lack of action, the staff's disrespectful demeanor further added to the dismal experience. When I finally managed to seek assistance, I was met with indifference and a dismissive attitude. It was as if my concerns were of no importance to them, and their disregard for my well-being and enjoyment was painfully evident. It's deeply disappointing to realize that the staff at PVR Plaza, CP are not equipped to manage even the simplest of conflicts, let alone create a safe and enjoyable environment for their customers. The incident not only ruined my evening but also shattered any faith I had in the theater's ability to provide a positive moviegoing experience. I strongly urge anyone considering a visit to PVR Plaza, CP to reconsider and explore other options. An establishment that fails to prioritize the safety and comfort of its patrons, and that lacks the basic skills to handle conflicts, is simply not worth the time or money. My hope is that this review serves as a wakeup call for the management to reevaluate their staff training and overall approach to customer satisfaction.

Baggage Policy and Locker Situation: During my recent visit to PVR Plaza, Connaught Place, I faced an inconvenient situation regarding carrying a bag. Unfortunately, the cinema didn't allow bags, and there were no designated lockers. This policy was not only unfriendly but also quite disappointing. Ticket Pricing and Screen Options: While the ambiance of PVR Plaza is commendable, the ticket prices seem relatively high, especially for 3D movies at ₹450. Despite the good screen size, there were limited options for movie selections, with only 2 or 3 movies playing at a time. The scarcity of Hollywood blockbusters was noticeable. Food and Services: The food options at the cinema were limited, primarily offering popcorn and soft drinks. The inconvenience of being compelled to purchase a ₹150 coupon with every ticket purchase was a downside. The insistence on using UPI or cash at the food counter, despite initially claiming card machines were down, added to the overall mixed experience. Waiting Area and Ambiance: The waiting area, though beautifully constructed, tends to get overcrowded just before entry time, especially between screen 1 and 2. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall vibe of PVR Plaza is enjoyable, providing a comfortable cinema experience. Baggage Handling at Entrance: One significant drawback was the entrance policy prohibiting backpacks with no provision for storage. The lack of a counter to keep bags and the recommendation to deposit them at a local pan shop raised concerns. This contradicted the promise on booking platforms, like BookMyShow, stating that bags could be deposited at the cinema counter. Conclusion: While the cinema experience at PVR Plaza, Connaught Place, offers a good ambiance and screening quality, the unfriendly baggage policy, limited movie options, and certain inconveniences in services could be areas for improvement. The recent visit highlighted the need for better adherence to stated policies and enhanced customer convenience.

The screens and sound quality are top-notch. The location of PVR Plaza is fantastic, right in the heart of Delhi's shopping and dining district. It's easy to make a day out of it. The staff at PVR Plaza are always friendly and helpful. They make the movie-going experience enjoyable from start to finish. I appreciate the variety of films that PVR Plaza showcases, from Bollywood blockbusters to international indie films. The seating at PVR Plaza is comfortable and spacious, which makes for a relaxing movie experience. I've never had any issues with ticket booking or online payment systems at PVR Plaza. It's always been a smooth process. The food and drinks at PVR Plaza are a bit pricey, but they're convenient if you're in a rush or don't want to venture out for snacks during the movie. Overall, I would recommend PVR Plaza for anyone looking for a fun movie outing in Delhi.

Tickets are so expensive. & The food is beyond you ill get 6 baby size momos for 220 rs. & That too with only chill sauce noo mayonnaise Popcorn are beyond reach of middle class ppl. You can save lot of money Also gher jesa maza kahi nhi milta frds Hope you guys think about it save your money

This signage or board at PVR that men can love waiting while women shops as men can watch trailers for ₹1 for 30 minutes, reeks of gender biases. It assumes as if only women shops and men don’t, and while women shops they need male accompanying people to escort them everywhere. All humans can shop with dignity. Issue is deeper as finance and financial decisions and purse strings are often controlled by men (even when women are earning). Women’s safety is another issue PVR please do not promote or strengthen Harmful narratives related to gender biases, attitudes and stereotypes. We expect gender equality at PVR Thanks

I recently visited PVR Plaza and was truly captivated by its aesthetic charm. The ambiance exudes a premium old cinema hall vibe, beautifully blending nostalgia with modern upgrades. The upgraded and premium facilities provided enhanced my movie-watching experience. From the moment I entered, I was transported to a different era, yet surrounded by the comfort of contemporary amenities. PVR Plaza truly offers a unique and delightful cinematic journey, where the past meets the present in the most enchanting way. Highly recommended for those seeking a touch of classic elegance and a top-notch movie experience.

The ambience is really nice and well lit. There's a vibe of old age wonder to this theater and i quite liked that part of it. The staff was courteous & smiling ,so experience was good there also. One negative would be availability of only a single screen gives very limited choices of screenings. I would also like to suggest that the cinema is somewhat overstaffed as there was sense of a lot of staff standing here and there ,not really working. But maybe there is enough traffic here. Overall good experience & will definitely visit again.

PVR CP is located 1st floor of plaza Mall. They used to sell their 150 rupees coupon with every window ticket and this is the worst part because you can't skip this coupon. They have limited menu available with them at their counter so you can't prefer your selected food items. Only pop corn and cold drink option is mostly available. Although screen size is good but not reasonable for the price. Staff is good. You can book tickets online if you don't want to have any kind of food. Last show time is available with them is max 11:30 pm.

  • Mayank Prajapati

Very disappointed from the screen of the theater. I watched a movie in screen-1 at first floor on dated 27th November 2022. Screen had too much of patches and dust with which you can't really see a clear image on the screen. Also the lobby is way too smaller as our the cinemas capacity which make it a very congested and crowded. Also I feel like the exit is way too narrow due to which I any case of emergency it may cause very much trouble for the people to make a emergency exit.

The Staff was Kind and Helpful. When I Visited This Place, A Girl was Yelling at a Staff Just Because There Wasn't a Lady Staff at the Checkpoint, however, He was being Patient and Was Listening to all of her shouting. Infrastructure Wise, Kind of Huge. Nice Seating Arrangement. I Like the Painting Vibes. As for the Theatre, It was Fine. The Sound Quality Was Fine, Picture Quality was Fine too. But the Seats Weren't Comfortable, At Least for Me! Overall A Nice Experience!!

  • Neeti Arora

Had the worst experience ever , the girl at the pos counter told us the wrong price which were including some food voucher which we didn't asked for and she added by herself and then told the same afterwards, and not enough of this the guy at the food counter at the food receiving counter told us that u can take something around 300 and add more money to it ! And then gave us popcorn and Pepsi and charged something else ! Just making fool out of people to earn money !

Pvr Plaza is one of the PVR single screen heritage cinemas . It is quite good cinema. Staff is courteous. In terms of food items there is less variety here comparing to other pvr cinemas ,. Seats recline a bit and leg space between seats needs improvement. Seats are comfortable as and they keep seats cleaned in general. Security is good, washrooms are clean and maintained. Rest all is fine and you can enjoy your favourite movies here.

  • Aalok Kummar

Super ambience with royal seats located in the heart of the capital i.e Cannaught Place, The Plaza cinema was originally designed by Robert Tor Russell and was built between 1930-40. In 1960 the hall was bought by Jaspal Sawhney, Shammi Kapoor and filmmaker K.K. Modi. Plaza was the first cinema to display a jukebox and serve cold-coffee in the early 1960s. PVR took control in the 90's but still maintained the heritage look.

  • Rahul Singh

Nice PVR establishment like others. Near cannought place where you can shop to your hearts content and watch a movie later. Also there is PVR RIVOLI nearby, walkable distance. Good and clean maintenance and well behaving staff. Theatre and the sound are as always top of the line. Worth watching a movie if you are nearby or visiting. And the nearest metro station is Rajiv chowk. Best PVR ❤️❤️❤️

  • Wandering Akriti

I watched Asia Cup IND vs PAK match here. This theater has a vintage feel to it. Seats are fine. The screen is not so good. There are many spots on it. But since we were there just for match it didn't really bother as much. Although I wouldn't watch most awaited/favourite movies here due to screen quality. But it's okay to go here for timepass overall good experience.

  • Harley bros before hoes

Idk what they sometimes leave a bright light on coming from the projector room. It’s very irritating. Pisses you off. Lovve the location and accessibility. Just straight away walk in to the theatres, no need to climb stories in a mall. Plenty of seats are available. Tip: don’t book the last row, doesn’t recline because of the wall behind em.

  • Amit Kumar Mishra_XIM

Staff behaviour was rude. We booked tickets online ans nowhere was it written that bags are not allowed. We directly went for a movie after we were done with our office. The staff said bags are not allowed. When asked where should we keep it.. they said we cant provide you any space you can keep it with the Paan waala outside. Amazing logic

  • Ishu Goel

Hey, so final verdict : you should book the tickets. Lets analyse some of the key aspects : 1. Movie hall - nice picture and sound quality, no doubt about that 2. Staff - on their best hospitable behaviour 3. Hygiene and cleanliness - perfecto!! Even the washroom ladies. Pro tip - try using the pvr app, you might get some extra discounts.

PVR Plaza-CP, Delhi is one of the most prominent movie theaters in Delhi. This movie theater has a good ambiance for the audience. Most of the Bollywood movies are being released in Delhi through this PVR Plaza. However, the screen and sound quality should improve for the audience to have the best movie experience.

  • Rishab Agarwal

Fine theater in CP, Central New Delhi. Congested, gets crowded when full house. It's recommended to book tickets well in advance, typically a day before for preferred seat choice. No dedicated parking space but it's possible to get one nearby. They didn't mind outside water bottle which was very convenient.

  • Ravi Mehra

They take extra charge without your permission never ask for food voucher added directly and sell tickets in 500 and accual price is 350 they charge extra 150 with the name of food voucher, plz brief your associates first they have ask to coustomer for food voucher very bad never suggest this pvr bull sit

  • Shiwangi Saha Roy

Worst place to watch a Movie. They literally have like 2 screens which are too small, bad sound quality and fishy looking ambiance. The ticket prices are too high and literally they will make you exit from the back of the building which contains overflowing drains. Very very shady place. Do Not Visit!!

  • Mudit Bhatnagar

Found this hall fairly overrated, it has space constraints, at the time of entry, exit and intervals, it feels so suffocated, there is no space, additionally prices are too steep for such a clumsy place, it is just charging us because of its location, that is all. Wont visit this place again

  • Ankit Prakash

Centrally located in the heart of Cannught Place CP Delhi...Just beside H block...towards outer circle. Old vibes decor...Good sound and movie Experience. Parking facility available in front. Seats are small in size for my liking, but overall good experience. Good PVR theater experience.

  • Smayan Kartha

Absolutely Terrible. We weren't allowed entry due to having a backpack with us. However, this facility has neither the facilities for a baggage waiting area nor the braincells to admit us when we showed that the bag only contained medication. We were simply told to "figure it out".

  • Abhishek Pandey

So i recently watched "Black Adam" . Seat were comfortable ,sound quality was nice but i found the screen size to be a little bit smaller as compared to Wave . Tickets were also on higher end like i paid rs 400 .So yeah decide for yourself whether you wanna watch here or pass.

  • Simarjot Singh Parmar

I was denied entry because I was carrying a laptop bag. If baggage is not allowed please provide with the lockers. Pathetic Unfriendly Policy…… If you are having such a policy please mention it on BOOKMYSHOW so somebody will not book or travel to the venue on the first place.

  • gopal jha

PVR plaza in Connaught place is ok. But most of time lift is not working we have to use stairs. Sound quality is good. It is situated in Connaught place. There is less chair for waiting people and less space also. It feels lot of crowded outside for waiting people.

  • Anand Gupta

The food counter manager insisted I do a UPI or cash. She kept insisting the credit card machines aren't working. Total 4 machines all down. When I said I have no cash, no UPI, then she switched on the machine and took it via card. Pathetic attitude.

It is a good hall however they can maybe manage the sound effects better. The seating is comfortable, and the staff that comes to take the order sometimes may seem annoying as they are in between the screen. Otherwise it's an okayish hall.

  • Shadab Ahmed

Good experience, went to watch tiger-3 with family, but the prices are too high for tickets and snacks as well, they are just looting their customers. They need to watch the prices, it's too costly to just simply watch a movie with family.

  • Angel Gupta

Went here to watch movie 'zara hatke zara bachke' staff is like too uncooperative they said we cant take our bag inside, we were coming directly from office despite many people were having bags they denied us. Bad experience.
