The final planning of your loved one is a very emotional and heart wrenching process. We chose Palms Mortuary Northwest over a decade ago for my mother’s resting place and we now know that we made the best decision. The grounds are immaculate and the location is very peaceful and serene. Unlike the other options here in the Vegas Valley that are located near bustling major streets and airports. I have attended services at other locations throughout the past years living in Vegas. I can say that Palms Northwest is beautifully appointed inside and out with high tech efficiencies. The furniture and architectural design of the building in spacious yet intimate and private. You don’t feel cramped up in the lobby or in the room where the service will be held. Most importantly the guidance and service by the staff is second to none. They rolled out the red carpet during our first appointment and throughout the process. Claudia and Shadow was very compassionate and very accommodating to work with. The staff here should be very proud of the service they provide the families during a very trying time. I would highly suggest you consider this location. I know there is not much time to plan for your loved ones celebration of life but please consider everything I just mentioned. We visited several locations before selecting Palms Northwest 10 years ago. We are so glad we made the right choice.

In a gesture of love, unburden your family-consider prearranging your post-mortem needs. This will take tremendous stress off them during a time of grief. Also, it will allow you to have input into your celebration of life and how you want your remains to be handled-burial versus cremation. Palm Northwest Mortuary staff and associates assisted our family in securing our pre-planned needs. They are a part of the Dignity group. We worked with their staff Amrita and with their associate Mel to get this done. They were patient and supportive in this process, sensitive to our exact needs and budget. They answered our questions. We did not get pressured- we felt we were treated as individuals and not as a number. Additionally, we assisted our neighbor whose husband recently died- she used Palm Northwest Mortuary and we noted how they treated her well. Highly recommend that you talk about this subject while you are well and get a plan of action (although it is hard and not a real savory topic) —we are all going to pass away someday— pre planning and leaving this smoothly organized is truly a gift of love for your loved ones. When a person one loves passes away with their post-mortem plans pre-made, then one can just focus on the grief and not need to mix it with business at that time. Highly recommend this mortuary and staff.

My family, sadly, did not have the best experience with Palm Northwest. Mom died in January and was not cremated for nearly a month. When I went to get her cremains, she was in the wrong urn and they had to change it, which was a huge startle. Then at her service, they gave her a Catholic service, and mom was not Catholic. We asked for a non-denominational service, but i will say that Father David's service for mom was just lovely! We also paid a large sum of money to have it streamed for out-of-state family and friends and were told we would get a DVD for ourselves. So, 90 days later, more than 8 phone calls with no return calls to help me, and a threat just today that if someone didn't help me I was going to come down and have a meltdown all through their lobby, I got a call to come get the dvd. A generic print, her name in marker across the front, in a paper sleeve, no case for protection is what I was handed! They rushed it to shut me up and I am so extremely hurt and angry. For $500 I expected a keepsake in a keepsake format. Shame on you, Palm Mortuary, for this really poor attention to the details of my mom's service and handling. At a time in our lives when we needed you to deliver, you did not!

I lost my father in November of 2022 and Shane and Nikola were the ones to support our family with his celebration of life. I recently lost my brother last month, June 2023. Nikola was the first person I called and then I spoke to Shane. The appointment was so quick because I wanted everything the same way we celebrated my dad. Shane and Nikola had all the notes from my dad’s celebration so it made it that much easier! They both took so much weight off of my shoulders with the planning and it gave me more time to actually grieve and spend time with my family. They were available literally 24/7 for any questions I had. They exceeded my expectations and made Michael’s celebration even more beautiful! I had tears of joy when I walked in and saw the entire place decorated in honor of Michael!! Mike was there to support with the burial as he did with my dad and niece, Briana. Mike always makes us feel like family and always stops by to see us when we’re there. We are forever thankful and grateful for you all!! We couldn’t have gone through this without you all!! We love you all!!! May God bless you a million times more for all you’ve done for our family!!

Palm Mortuary admitted to having an amateur prepare my father's body. The body was not prepped properly. So, the family had to have a closed casket ceremony. Palm Mortuary did not do the right thing by amicably coming to a settlement and rectifying the Gross Negligence they committed. Instead, they hired nefarious lawyers that perjured themselves in the court of law. To not be held accountable for their wrongdoings. I will take this to social media to expose this company for who they are. My father deserved much better than this. He was a famous singer/songwriter among some of his accomplishments. He was an Inductee into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and received a Star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame. His fans and colleagues could not pay their last respects to him. The stress and duress this has caused our family is unconscionable. Sadly, Palm Mortuary doesn't care about its reputation being tarnished. For refusing to do the right thing. Stay away from this funeral home and find one that's professional and respectable. In the end, Justice will prevail.

Planning a funeral is never fun, but Julie Starkey was amazing to work with when planning my moms. She was patient, compassionate and understood my budget and wasn’t pushy. We actually had another cemetery hang up on us when we called to ask about prices but she didn’t make us feel bad about asking questions over the phone before deciding to work with her. She took myself and my family around to several plots repeatedly until we were comfortable enough to pick one out. She seems to genuinely care about those she serves. I’ve already highly recommended her to someone else who wants to pre-plan their own arrangements. Also they are more lenient about decorations around the holidays and I really appreciated them letting our fresh funeral flowers stay on site over 6 days through Christmas and my birthday rather than the normal 3 days. This cemetery is a beautiful and peaceful site and I’m working on pre-planning my own arrangements there as well.

Palms Northwest Mortuary threw away my 7 week old daughters Christmas tree! She is placed in the garden of innocence and every single ornament was hand picked and special !!!! She had a special crown, unicorn, pink heart, gold shoe!!! Everything took me days to get and going from store to store. Screw how much I spent on the stuff thats irrelevant! It all meant something to me! This was her first Christmas. Her first Christmas spent without us. This last year has been so hard. The holidays were even harder. Now the place we rely on to keep care of where our loved ones are buried just picks up their stuff and throws it away with no regards. No compassion here. THIS IS A BABIES LOT !!!! This is the garden of innocence. Every single plot has a child buried there. How dare them!!! Im now digging and finding out they have thrown out other babies stuff as well!!!! BEWARE BEFORE YOU BURY YOUR BABY OR CHILD HERE!!!!

I cannot thank enough Palm Northwest Mortuary and Cementary for the service and kindness they provided to myself and my kids. I couldn't ask for anything to have been more beautiful for my husband's funeral services. Everything was beyond what I imagined, the customer service was outstanding, and the overall process was made easier than I thought. Going thru this after losing a loved one was very hard, but everyone there ensure we were always taken care of, we were treated as family, and on the day of the services day everything was fine exceptional, and at all times I was kept up-to-date on every detail. They were extremely professional, patient, compassionate and just amazing to work with. Being new to this type of pre-planning and how overwhelming and dreadful this process can be... I will say that I felt exceptionally taken cared of! Everything was clearly explained, all of my many questions were answered, and my needs were met with what I could afford. The person that assisted me for a 3rd purchase was amazing her name is Dale simply awesome. I did find it disturbing that from the first and second plots purchased. The yield rate for a burial plot has nearly doubled, as well as opening and closing (now it is imperative that you open and close the grave this cost has also nearly doubled) my mother is resting at Palms had I known that it would be nearly impossible for additional family to rest in the same location. I encourage everyone to purchase your final wishes now for in 30 to 40 years it will for sure be 20 times todays cost and when you hold the product your price prevails with or without tears, and I want to be close to my Mom, truth wins. The 5 Stars are for Dale she represents with class.

This is a beautiful cemetery. The energy here is so peaceful. The grounds are very well kept. Here there are plots that are gated and have a small yard. I really find those to be nice. These private cemetery yards are a sight to see all in it's self. I enjoy seeing how people set up there loved one lot . Each lot has a personality of its own. New land, about a mile of land, have been cleared recently. They have cleared so much space for more loved ones. Bathrooms are located in the service building. If I am barried here in Vegas I would love to be barried here. I would love to have a gated private plot.

My whole family was very pleased with all the service provided for my mother's Funeral and Burial.We felt very comforted with the services and respect you gave our family. My experience with arranging and having my husband's Celebration of Life service was amazing. The staff were very professional and caring all at the same time. All of our questions were answered and anything we requested/needed the staff took care of it in a timely manner. We held our repast here as well. So selecting a caterer was a little different, however, our out of town guests did not have to drive to another location and could also continue to view Demetrius' memory table after the service. I would recommend this place to everyone during a time like this.

Dealing with the passing of my husband was extremely difficult, I struggled making decisions, I was so lost. But Gricelda Sierra, Nicola Morrison, Marielle Landry and staff were very patient helping me. They were kind, compassionate and very understanding and did their best to help us as much as possible. My mother passed suddenly and we were in need of services. I requested Palm because they had handled other family members services and I knew we could trust them. Our funeral director Mrs Sierra was wonderful and kind. She provided us with all the options and didn't push us to choose things we didn't need. She kept in touch during the process and remained patient when we had to update the Obituary a couple of times. I'm thankful I chose to work with them.

My sister and I were having to do things at the last minute and I felt Palm Mortuary Northwest was fantastic. I just recently planned a funeral at Palm Northwest Mortuary. From beginning to end the service I received with them was phenomenal. Shannon, Marielle, Bo, Yvette, these are the wonderful people I worked directly with to plan the funeral, but the whole staff was beyond amazing, caring and comforting during a difficult time. I cannot say enough good things about them. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of funeral planning.

The Palm Northwest Mortuary & Cemetery is a very beautiful oasis to rest in peace in the Las Vegas desert. If you go through the trouble and expense of pre-paying for one of their cemetery plots, I would strongly suggest pre-paying for specific funeral services at the same time (i.e., to avoid any future misconceptions and possible misunderstanding of your loved one's wishes).
