UPDATE: called to make an appointment to see Dr Lal. Tried 4 time at various intervals. Could not get through. It looks like their customer's feedback is not enough to get a few more lines into the place. Staff are still rude. This clinic is the perfect example of how NOT to run a business. Seems like all the owner's are interested in is making money rather then good patient care. VERY POOR. --------- I changed to Dr Lal approx. 2yrs ago after being "loyal" to my previous doctor for almost 15yrs. Within the first 2 months, as part of getting a baseline since my previous doctor did not transfer the files as instructed, Dr Lal took my 10yr concern about shortness of breath seriously and ordered some tests. It turned out to be a congenital heart issue. Dr Lal has been absolutely brilliant thus far. The fact that you can get all your checks/tests done onsite (apart from radiology) is also a positive. So if my experience with Dr Lal is so good why have I given 3 stars? Because the staff and management around Dr Lal are quite pathetic. Reception is always rude (if they get a decent one, they don't seem to last long), they don't listen to anything you say and it seems like they really are not able to think outside the square. I often make a follow up appointment before I leave but they call me a few days before the follow up appointment to ask if I would like to make an appointment. Really? Do they not look at either their booking system or a patients record before making the call? Extremely pathetic really. And the management needs to spend some money updating the furniture and renovate the toilets. The furniture looks like they were bought from a garage sale and are old, torn and dirty. The toilets are always out of order for one reason or another. Although the time taken to be seen is at least 30-45 minutes after appointment time, I don't believe this is the doctors fault. Each patient is different. Some take little time and some need more. Time is all about giving the best care. So no marks taken off for the wait time. Let me very clear, if it wasn't for Dr Lal, I would not be visiting this practice at all. Sometimes I do wish he would move to a better Medical Centre.

PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. DR WONT GIVE YOU CORRECT ANSWERS OR A DIAGNOSIS I’ve booked an appointment with a dr to refurr me to get ultrasound on my shoulder that has been sore progressively. I’ve got the ultrasound done back in August and I reeboked an appointment with them soon after for my results which I was given the all clear from the untrasound. Fast forward to yesterday 18 November 2023 and I was told, going back over that ultrasound results that I have torn tissue DAMAGE . Now I’ve been manovering this arm for the past 3 month’s potentially making the tissue more damaged because I wasn’t given a proper diagnosis or answer firstly . This is not the first time to be let down by this clinic. I’ve had bloods in the past and I am b27 positive in 2021. Only to find out the positive results 1.5 years later.. I am so overwhelmed at the work they do here. Like crying.. this is my health on the line and pretty serious matters here. I don’t think they realise the impact a practitioner can have on a patient when it come to health that I think I need to make an offical complaint about these drs.

Update from my previous review. This place has improved in heaps and bounds. My last visit from a few weeks ago showed significant changes. They definitely had replaced the torn couches in the entrance foyer. The receptionist who served me was new and very helpful. Absolutely the worst medical practice in every sense. Terrible management, barely speak English. Owner is one of the doctors. The reception is pathetic, they look at u and assume u can speak their language if you look south Asian. Their toilets are revolting, I used to take my bottles home to get urine sample coz that’s how bad their toilets are. They have furniture that’s all ripped and one of the couches had baby spew on that sofa which the reception was made aware of and never took any action. During COVID they had no restrictions ! All of us were allowed to come in and no temp checks were done ! Their entire admin team lacks knowledge, professionalism! Honestly do not know how this place is open and functioning ! Should be closed down for the well being of society.

I wish to select 0 star.No other options to write a review without selecting a rating.Me and my family never had a good or satisfactory experience from this medical centre during any of our telehealth or direct F2F appointment.Can't explain more , absolutely unprofessional,rude and pathetic experience we had gone through starting from reception , doctors and the management.They never consider the client's age, health condition or can't even think why a person is approaching them for medical care.Not attending phone calls, hanging up ,no proper response or answers even when they attend the calls, moreover there are chances of acquiring covid 19 and other viral infections from the clinic. I even wish to get a single good experience from this practice and continued to be with this GP clinic till now.But this system failed us repeatedly.Never going back to this clinic again.

I work as a practice manager for a cardiologist and cannot believe the level of unprofessionalism that came from this centre. We are trying to chase down results for a patient as she came to us with a lot of complex health issues and not a great memory of her previous whereabouts. The young male receptionist who answered refused to check the patients file and assist with Dr Kravtsova's patient. He told me they don't have time for that and that the patient should come down and collect the result herself. Dr Kravtsova sent the patient to us to help with a diagnosis. It is very unfortunate that her own staff are not willing to assist with their own patients medical care. Not once in my 10 years in this industry have I ever been spoken to like that or seen such neglect. I would advise NO ONE to attend this clinic. Not surprised to see an average 2 star rating.

I called the medical centre at 9.15 am on 22/8/23 for a telephone appointment. The receptionist told me that Dr.Kirti will call me between 1-5 pm. When she didn't call me, I called the medical centre again and was told that Dr. Kirti will call me soon. At 7.15, I called again and was told that Dr. Kirti had left for home. Iam appalled at the attitude of this doctor. I don't know who to report to regarding such unprofessional and ignorant attitude. Such doctors should be stripped of their practice. I called the practice again at 7.45 and was told that Dr. Arun would call me. I am so thankful to Dr. Arun that he took the time out of his busy schedule to give me a call even after the centre was closed. We need more doctors like Dr. Arun and Dr Lal. I love their diligence and dedication.

I have been a patient of this medical centre for nearly 20 years. I would not take my family anywhere else. Dr Sharon Kumar is excellent, she is very thorough and goes out of her way to give the very best of service. Thanks to her, my Prostrate cancer was picked up early and I was able to have it removed. I feel that the reason people have to wait longer than they would like, is because the doctors here, try to give the patients the time needed to give them the best care. The clinic has been freshly painted, and new furniture has been installed. There is quite a delay at times getting through on the phone, but that is because they are very busy making appointments for people. Dr Lal is another doctor I have seen and found to be very efficient, friendly and kind.

The management here is absolutely ridiculous. I was told to wait to see a doctor by a person named Victor, who said it will be about half an hour. I waited for over 2 hours and then was rudely told to leave because they had made mistakes with appointments and refused to let me see a doctor even though i did have an appointment. After telling Victor i had an appointment he raised his voice in front of other patients in the waiting room, and aggressively told me to leave the premises otherwise he would phone police. All of this even though i had done nothing wrong and it was their mistake to start off with. The management here is very poor and they do not look out for their patients, it almost seems like they don't genuinely care about their patients well being.

I have been using this service for almost 17 years. I would like to say that the doctors are wonderful specially Dr. Sharon. But there is a need of change in the customer service. Many times when you ask for doctor they will say so and so doctor is fully booked. I always have to leave my name and later they will call back If possible there should be online booking facilities available like in some other clinics which will make everyone's life easier. All of my family members use this service at all times. Sometimes there is a waiting time. It is everywhere unless and until it's an emergency. Thanks

Poor performance as a medical practice. Very unorganised, untidy, poor people skills, very poor english, poor telephone manners and they also lack in time management. Very unhygienic inside. Receptionists lack proper training and also favour their own ethnicity. The pharmacist has more knowledge then the so called GP's that work there. Phone lines are always busy cause they either chatting overseas on it or its off the hook cause they're gossiping amongst each other at the front desk. They're only good for getting medical certificates for work hahaha that's it!

Have been coming here for a little over 5 years and have never had a good experience always slow, never on time, very rude and prioritize their friends and family over clients who need the help. They even had the nerve to call me and scold me for not telling them i had left when i had to leave to go to hospital for a medical emergency after waiting for an hour. I only ever came here because it was convenient as it was a short travel distance however myself and everyone i know will never be coming here until some kind of change is made

I have found this clinic to be very professional. Especially Dr Sharon. Because of her great advice about regular testing (Colonoscopy) My bowel Cancer was picked up early. Without her care and attention, I would have never been tested and would have a cancer growing inside me. This to me is more important than waiting times. Do you want quality care or fast food service??? The doctors try to balance effective care with a reasonable appointment time. People should be willing to wait, if you want good care.

Absolutely unprofessional, abhorrent management. When I kindly requested that proof of my daughter's first Pfizer dose be sought via contacting another medical centre, the receptionist literally folded his hands, as if begging me to leave him alone and not burden him with this duty. A simple "sorry, I cannot do that that" would've done the trick. This was completely uncalled for and was humiliating.There exists here an obvious ignorance to the concept of respect. Grow up.

My family and I are extremely happy with the services at Park Avenue Medical Centre. Dr Sharon is a gem. Her pro-activeness was instrumental in the diagnosis of my health issue and resulted in timely treatment. She is on top of things when it comes to my ongoing appointments. Though we have moved away from the suburb we still travel for more than half an hour to attend our appointments. We remain ever thankful for the warmth she shares and the guidance she gives.

I have been seeing Dr Sharon Kumar at Park Avenue Medical Centre for over 12 years now. She is personable, knowledgeable, precise and thorough in her diagnostic skills and a very kind human being too. I can always rely on her for when my family needs to see a GP, as she is very flexible as well in accomodating our appointments. I am very thankful for having such a wonderful and caring GP available for my family, I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Have called more than 30 times. My mother is a cancer patient and is extremely unwell. Your phone dies out before it can even ring. Most pathetic experience and most pathetic doctors. You have no idea how to run a GP centre. I’m appalled. You barely have someone for 5 minutes in the room before sending them back out and NEVER listen to what the patients have to say. You might as well shut down. Not worth time and effort.

I am not sure why people have put -ve comments here, I had a very very good experience. After my friend's recommendation I booked to see Dr Lal and I must say I had a great experience. The doctor was very thorough and caring. Even the reception ladies were very polite. Over the years I have been to other medical facilities and had encountered the worst experience that was mentioned in the comments but not this place.

As a receptionist isn’t ur job to answer incoming calls? I actually don’t know what the receptionist do all day at this clinic? Whenever I attempt to make an appointment at this place, I literally have to call 20+ times. Yet when I finally arrive at my appointment, I’m made to wait ages until the receptionist get off the phone? Doctors are great but ur reception staff are so backwards! Get ur act together!

They do not understand the meaning of an appointment, will make you wait 45 mins to an hour even if you have an appointment. This has happened every single time for the past 5+ years. I've provided this feedback to the management multiple times and they really do not care. You'd be better of going to ANY other clinic in the area, avoid these useless bunch at all cost.

If zero stars was an option that’s what I would give them. Had an appointment booked. Came in waited over an hour, no one spoke to me and explained why. When I went up to the desk to ask how much longer I was told there was still two more patients ahead of me. How? Everyone that was left there had come in well after me. I will never return to this doctors

Absolutely the worst medical clinic. From the phones that are always disengaged on purpose to the reception who do not know anything regarding customer service, pathetic. Booking an appointment is as good as just walking in, you’ll be made to wait 20-30 minutes if you book or not. I am definitely going to have to transfer from here, pathetic.

They have a large parking area, small play area in the foyer for children. Friendly staff, most doctors are foreign, if not all - in case you have preferences. Appointments are never kept as they over book seemingly as a policy. The toilets almost always have some aspect not working (lights out or blocked etc). Attached pharmacy is handy.

I have been coming to Park Avenue Medical Centre for over 6 years and have the most wonderful GP who is caring very supportive and an amazing doctor. If I am unable to see my GP I have seen other doctors at the clinic who also have looked after me well. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for a new GP and clinic.

Reception is a total joke, some times you get hung up on. Today I called to make an appointment for my son who had chest pain in the night and the receptionist said there were no available appointments today. When I asked for a walk in, she said call back after 10 cause she alone in reception???

Doctors are really nice but the girls working at reception are mean, they don’t listen to your problem instead of finding a way they just say no its not possible, it’s happened a few times for me to post like this, been going there for years but only recently in a few months this has happened

After calling early this morning to book a telehealth appointment, I was frustrated Dr. Helena Gupta didn't read notes left by receptionist. Talk about incompetent, it appears this GP takes the cake. Unfortunately I have no choice but to tolerate this behaviour for the sake of my sister.

Giving one star as this is the minimum. A bunch of irresponsible people sitting at the reception, no follow up for pathology results. Their aim is to make you book atleast three booking for one pathology results. Nothing will be done on time. Make you wait until you get frustrated.

I’ve been trying to call the clinic for a few days now! And the line is ALWAYS busy. I need to ask for my files to be transferred to another clinic interstate and I simply cannot get through, it’s a joke. I’ve only given 2 stars as Dr Sharon is lovely. But reception is terrible.

Please do everyone a favour and change the management of this place. Lovely GPs, but if the management remains the same, the clinic will eventually lose clients or maybe even get someone killed due to the long wait time, regardless of an of an appointment being made.

The management needs to change. The GP's are good but the front desk is mediocre at best. There is no point of getting an appointment at this place, they make you wait 15 - 20 minimum AFTER the scheduled appointment time EVERY SINGLE TIME.

The only thing preventing this practice from falling apart is a few good doctors. Frequently overbooking and expecting people to wait 40 mins+ when they have an appointment is not good at all. Phone is almost always engaged when calling.
