We had an incredible time there as usual. This time we were there for my wifes birthday. Food and service inside the restaurant was amazing! However, we did have a bad experience with the valet. When we arrived, we tipped the valet person in cash and he did not record/write it down that we tipped. When we were leaving, the car was parked right outside on the street next to the valet booth. I went to put my baby in the car seat. A different vallet (Asian guy) came over and said "yo you owe me $10". All he did was hand me the key and showed me attitude when clearly I was just busy for a bit to put my baby in the car seat. I was going to tip him regardless of the fact we had previously tipped the first valet guy and all this guy did was give me the car key. As we go there often, this was shocking to us as we never had this issue in the past. This person is a poor representation of the restaurant and should be respectful to customers at all times. Additionally, the valet should have a better process of keeping track of their tips. We were told we did not tip anyone which was not true. Seems like they charge $10 for selective people even after they have tipped.

Attitude from valet
Last night we went to eat at park side. I had already been a couple of times before, but this time it was a very busy day, the restaurant was full. We were greeted by a kind of host who seemed to be accelerating, he placed us at a table and immediately began to serve us. INCREDIBLE customer service our waiter is called Felipe (congratulations, a very attentive and friendly man who knew everything about the menu and his recommendations were very successful). We order three appetaizers; fried calamari, cold antipasto and jumbo shrimp cocktail. Delicious all three, you could see a lot of freshness and quality in the shrimp, highly recommended that shrimp cocktail. We also ordered a carafa of Pinot Grigio wine. For main course, we were determined to eat fish and ordered: swordfish, salmon and sole fish. Excellent quality of food, each dish had a different flavor and very well done, I recommend the swordfish which was very tasty. For dessert we ordered a typical Italian: tiramisu glorious, excellent. We had a great time in Park Side, we were especially surprised by the customer service, waiters and runners very connected as a team and all very nice. Thanks Park side! we will be back.
Excellent Italian food. Everything was something else, even the side penne in red sauce were better than penne I've ordered as a main in other Italian restaurants. Best veal milanese I've had: crispy, well seasoned, not greasy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. It isn't cheap, but the portions are rather generous. The waiters were very attentive around noon, though the place was still mostly empty. The ambiance is great, I love a bright space and the views of their garden are nice thanks to all the plants in front of the large windows. The desserts are fine, but not as memorable as the food. I have a sweet tooth, but in the future I'll reserve my appetite for their savory options. I've tried their home-made Italian cheesecake, and tiramisu, as well as the carrot cake. The only issue was that we waited 50 minutes for the food to come. I think the kitchen took a while to get started. Not a big deal, because the complimentary bread basket is also generous. I'm looking forward to my next visit so I can try more of the menu. I'm curious about their seafood.

Amazing Italian restaurant! Great atmosphere and ambiance. Great staff that are attentive and courteous. Very spacious and large . Great for big parties or intimate ones. Set by the garden, so beautiful. There's history here, look into it, love it. Valet parking only &/or metered parking/street parking. Complimentary and delicious variety of breads with cheese and cold cuts served. Great menu with variety of choices for everyone. At the end of your meal complimentary biscottis served. They also had complimentary apples from the farm. ●Red wine was great ●Ordered the lasagna for the appetizer (not my favorite). ●The lobster risotto was delicious! Highly recommend. ● Rigatoni with lamb bolognese was delicious! Definitely make your way here.

Everything is special about this place. The Parkside has its own parking lot and great valet service. When you enter the restaurant you are warmly greeted by either Alfredo or Frank, two of the warmest and most polite gentlemen you would ever want to meet. When you read the menu you feel like you are in Italy and the food is so delicious. For an Italian this is about as close as you will get to your mom's or grandmother's cooking. The walls are adorned with photos of celebrities, sports stars, actors, and politicians who have eaten here. It is all very entertaining. Give Parkside a try. You will be happy that you did.

There is a reason I only gave Parkside a 5 rating. Google Maps wouldn't allow me to rate them higher. We got there about 5:15 without a reservation for us 4. They were able to accommodate us We'll done! We have eaten here in the past and the food and service were always exceptional! Today that exceptional food and service continues. No wonder why when we tried to reserve a table earlier in the day they did not have a table for 4 available on a Thursday night. Also the tables are not bunched together. There is room to relax, have a fine meal and be comfortable. If we lived closer, we would come here more often. The complimentary bread and biscottis make it worth the trip from anywhere in the NY Metro area. No wonder why in the past when we did live closer we would come here to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays and other special occasions. When we are in NY and are looking for a good Italian meal, this is the place.

Went here for some Italian dinner on New Years day and it there was a 15min wait which wasn't bad considering there were a few other restaurants open. I'm just glad they had valet because parking around Corona could get atrocious. As soon as I went inside, it had a very clean Italian style decor and looks like its been around for awhile (in a good way) They brought over an amazing bread set with complimentary cheese and hams which were amazing, but kinda got full off it before the meal even began... Everything we ordered was top notch and I'd definitely go here again... if it didn't take so long to get our dishes (pics) It took almost an hr to get our food, I'm not sure if it was because it was the holidays or what but that didn't go well. My cousin's wife had to leave mid dinner to tend to the baby and by the time the food came out we ended up nibbling it and getting it to go. Still for sheer taste and atmosphere 5 stars. This place feels super cozy and cultural.
Valet parking with excellent food. We live in westchester and will drive 35 min to come eat here at Parkside. It's cheaper, big portions, better tasting, and an even better ambience than anywhere in westchester. When you sit down you are warmly greeted and served fresh hot bread, cheeses, and salami. We had the octopus appetizer as well as the eggplant rollintini. Was out of this world. The red snapper was a generous portion as well as the mushroom Alfredo. And for desert I had the pistachio icecream which I never get icecream at a restaurant and it was the best I've ever had. It was covered in a hard chocolate shell i was told if i didn't like it because i was unsure they would gladly get me another dessert. And the cappuccinos were popping hot and came out with dessert not after like other places.

Valet parking in queens is amazing.
I have a bad habit of only leaving reviews when I have a bad experience, but after visiting ParkSide it was a must to leave a good review. This was an amazing restaurant from customer service to their food. I had a reservation for 9:15pm to celebrate my grad & was running late. When I called to notify the person I spoke with stated it’s okay, they’ll be waiting on my party whenever we arrived. Also, the kitchen was closing at 10pm, but they gave us time to order without feeling rushed. It was such a cute restaurant with great atmosphere and food. Don’t hesitate to visit! I left one star off because i accidentally left my stole and they can’t find it :( totally my fault.

Park Side is perhaps the best Italian restaurant in Queens. I'll never say no to having dinner here. I've even celebrated my birthday here several times. They start off by giving you this HUGE bread basket filled with several different types of bread. My favorites include chicken parmigiana, chicken francese, and chicken piccata. I'm not a big seafood eater, but everyone I've been here with has said the seafood dishes are great. Be sure to make a reservation at least 2 weeks ahead. This place is so crowded every time, especially on the weekends and holidays.

Nice place. Very old school. Mostly good food. Paid too much for a veal special. Pounded veal chop with prosciutto & cheese in a mushroom sauce. Pretty good but small portion. Came with an excellent salad with Caesar dressing. Tasted house made Definitely not worth $50 though. Also had fettuccine Carbonara. Tasty but not true Carbonara. It was more like Alfredo with prosciutto in it. Service was harried. Asked for a wine list which never came. Difficult to get servers attention. They took away my wife's bread before she was done with it. Servers confused about specials. Could definitely use some training & communication.

Just a run of the mill meh Italian restaurant. It was Sunshine`s b day but let's focus on the restaurant. Seats and silverware were dirty. Servers were attentive if you could get their eyes off the girls around. Salad and dressing was acceptable. Bread seemed to be alright. Calamari, doesn't compare to anything on Staten Island. Veal was super tough. Red sauce was on point. Shellfish was overdone and tough. The pasta was done al dente but you could tell it was purchased and not made in house. Overall it did rate a little better than Olive Garden (and no I don't eat there).

HOLY $HIT! I don’t like going out to eat Italian Food since I grew up in an Italian Household and worked at pizzeria restaurant from 14yrs old to 24. My Father was adamant on going here so we Made the Pilgrimage from Long Island. My god it was worth the trip! Nothing like it here on the island! My father got a clam dish that was PACKED with Flavor and generous portion! I was absolutely blown away with their bread bowl! The variety was something I have never seen and it even had prosciutto bread in it! I don’t like brown sauce but waiter strongly suggested their Chicken and Veal Dish. IT WAS TO DIE FOR! Something I have never experienced. Mouth is watering as I’m writing this! We will be back! We passed on dessert bc we want to ICE KING!
Where have you been all my life?!? Apparently tucked away and hidden in Corona, New York! The food was excellent! My friends will tell you that I rarely eat bread when I'm seated at a restaurant because I hate getting full before the real meal. But here I couldn't help myself... Sorry I forgot to take pictures lol trust me, dig in!! Our table ordered an array of pasta -- carbonara, white truffle and mushroom, linguine and shrimp, spaghetti and meatballs special. I can't name a favorite because they were all delicious! I'm dying to go back already!

This restaurant is a landmark. My father grew up in Corona, Queens and when I go to eat here, I can feel his presence. Now about the food - it never disappoints. Anything you order is delicious! We're talking authentic Italian food! Prices are great. The service is wonderful. I highly suggest the stuffed artichoke. Any pasta dish is excellent. I ordered the linguini with the broccoli rabe. My son got the Penne alla vodka.

The food was great but everyone knew that already. My friend Matt about his Steak Pizzaola: “I’m in the meat zone”. My chicken parm: perfect. They seated 9 of my friends today with no reservation before a rush. The people here are a class act. Prices totally reasonable too. Everyone else also acting like it was the treat it was to be there. My friends were all impressed I took em. Worth the wait/walk/everything.

I have been here to eat three times in a matter of a month! Absolutely phenomenal food!!! My family is Jersey Italian, so I have some high standards when it comes to pasta, let alone food in general. Park Side knocks everything they make out of the water every single time! Not only are the waiters and staff very friendly, but the atmosphere is incredibly beautiful and romantic. 15/10 would I recommend coming here for a real deal NY Italian American meal! They also chop fresh cloves of garlic in every dish- if that doesn’t do it for you, I don’t know what does. Thank you Park Side!
This is hands down one of the best Italian restaurants in NY. The decor is a bit outdated, but you'll be hard pressed to find an establishment with better service and food. The wait staff, dressed in tuxedos, is attentive and polite. Your drink will rarely not be full. The food is delicious! Park Side uses fresh, authentic ingredients. You can taste the difference! I had the veal Milanese while others at my table ordered shrimp scampi, shrimp Francese, chicken Francese, and chicken parmigiana. No one was disappointed! We'll be back again like we have several times now. Salud!
First time coming here and I’ll will be back ! Let me start off saying the service is amazing. My server is name Jonathan and he made the whole experience wonderful. He recommended some great dishes. I had baked clams for appetizer. Perfectly seasoned. For my entree I had shrimp scampi. It was delicious. Heads up they give you your moneys worth for the portion size. The drinks were delicious and they’re definitely not cheap with the liquor! Overall experience was excellent ! Must try spot !

The dining experience was amazing. The waiters are very attentive and accommodates to the table's needs splendidly. The food were also delicious, especially the dessert choices. The portions are kinda big so be sure to have either to little or empty stomach cause they fill you up pretty well. Oh, definitely do not expect a table to be ready at a busy time (if you're lucky). This place is a must visit, whether you want to celebrate your birthday or going on a date. I loved their setting and ambiance, with indoor plants in the green house section. However the best part of the restaurant is undeniably their food. They give you a whole medley of Italian bread and cheese platter.i had the avocado crab salad and the oysters, both prepared and presented to the perfection. As if the meal was not enough, they topped it off with some complimentary biscotti..I had an amazing time and loved the place.
Loved loved loved everything about this restaurant! The food and service was great! Would definitely recommend making a reservation though. The place was packed on Saturday and they basically make you wait in the tiny bar with a ton of other people until they call your name. The hostess was kind of rude and kept losing her patience but we got over it quickly because our server was nice and the food was good. We ate on the 3rd floor which was nice and intimate. Would recommend this place for a nice date.

I was very impressed with Park Side. Not only was the food great but the service was excellent. Park Side is one of those places you can take a date for a romantic quiet dinner or go to have a nice Italian meal with a friends or family. From the breads to the seafood everything tasted great. The seafood and pasta were cooked perfectly and the little things they did made the experience great. The cheeses and meats were high quality which really made the meal very nice. I can't wait to return.
The food is great. Really, it is. The marinara is amazing and the manicotti is to die for. But DON’T let them seat you in the sun porch. It’s the land where horrible service exists. This is the second year in a row that I have had horrible service, both times sat out in the sun porch. If you can, request a table inside or you will be sitting and waiting and waiting and waiting. For food, for drinks, for your check. For everything.

So glad we found this restaurant after a trip at nearby Queens Zoo. The restaurant converted their parking space to outdoor dinning. It’s spacious and very good for social distance. Both food and service are excellent, it’s absolutely beyond our expectations (we live close to Italian neighborhood in Brooklyn and have tried many Italian restaurants already). Highly recommend Fried Calamari, Truffle and Mushroom Fettuccini. We will definitely come back to try other dishes!
Old school Italian restaurant with a fun atmosphere. Sat next to Susan Lucci and her friends. Good food and excellent people watching. Our waiter wasn’t too friendly or attentive which was disappointing. The staff also didn’t have our reservation but they quickly found us a table even though the dining room was filling up so that was nice.

Let me start by saying I’m not a fan of Italian food. Even so, I loved this place! The gravy was the best I ever had. The veal parmigiana along with everything else brought me as close as I’ve ever been to enjoying Italian food. This place is old New York that sadly you don’t see much anymore. Enjoy it and try it out!

Simply good food , great vibes in the heart of Queens. One of the best Italian Spots in NY. Definitely try the Lamb Chops and Tiramisu. Great for big parties. They have like 3 floors , to cater your big tables. Service is on point !!

Authentic, not fussy, delicious food, excellent service. This was my first time so I was a bit skeptical, but it was an excellent experience. Great service, generous pour from the bar, delicious food . Even the pasta side dish was among the best pasta I have ever had - chewy and yummy.
Such a wonderful dining experience. Delicious authentic Italian food, attentive staff, and charming atmosphere make Parkside a staple in Queens. From the moment you walk in there is an old school italian vibe that is intoxicating.

The food is ok but nothing exceptional, just regular Italian food. The pasta I ordered was too salty and a bit tasteless. The steak was ok, pretty good. The service is slow, you have to wait long time for the waiter to show up. Overall is okay, but don’t except too much.
Wonderful food, Bolognese was wonderful, best veal parmesan I've ever had, melted in the mouth

Atmosphere 10 out of 10. Took forever to get water or refills of water. The food is delicious to typical to meh. Go for the ambiance and the old school charm. Worth a visit but treat it less like a gourmet experience

The best lobster risotto! And they always start your great meal with a generous basket of breads, cheese, salami and bruschetta. It's got a real old school feel and it's obvious they have a clientele that has been loyal for ages. Always busy and always good.
Had an opportunity to experience this fine dining establishment with my uncle and auntie to celebrate my bday and I had an amazing time! Everything was well prepared and table service was excellent! Definitely 5 plus stars for this Italian Eatery!!!!

Old school, authenthic and prob mobbed up Italian joint in the heart of Corona Qns' Little Italy. The service was warm and friendly and the food was like if you were at your Italian friends grandmothers house for sunday supper. Ill def will
Wow! They are really not kidding! This IS the best Italian restaurant in Flushing, maybe in Queens itself (maybe in Manhattan although I don't go to the mega-expensive Michellin starred restaurants in the City). I got the Milanese porkchop,

Truly excellent old world Italian cooking in a warm, historic atmosphere. You feel like the real Italy, and it's here in Queens. Many seafood options too. Specials daily. Great service. Packed so u need a reservation.
There's a reason this is so long established Italian restaurant. The food is great, service is excellent, you are not rushed... Who could ask for more?

Would recommend the strawberry or the peach flavors! In terms of food, everything here is excellent and served quickly (not the biggest fan of the avocado fries though). Great place to dine at!

When I finished eating a big roach showed up on table. Very nasty. Would never go back to that place. Be aware! Are they clean and rotten free ???
The food here is really good and the service was wonderful. They really have a great menu selection, plus their prices are affordable. More
Some of the best Italian food I've had. Delicious red sauce. A bit pricier than other places but we were all happy. More
