Overall a fantastic school. Like any other high school, it has issues. This case being drugs. It is Patrick Henry's main problem. However, it is easily avoidable. As long as you pick your friends wisely, and keep your head out of the shadows, you'll be on a path to success. Tutoring and support is easily found around campus between student leadership and school staff. Education comes as a priority to the school. Besides education, Patrick Henry have strong sports and performing arts programs with electives ranging from pottery to musical theater, to computer graphics. The campus is somewhat large, but well kept, clean, and very organized. There are 2 security guards and a police officer on campus at all hours of the school day. Be mindful when reading other reviews, as many of the lower ratings come from single experiences and close minded responses. Not to say they aren't wrong in their review, as it is opinion. After all, everyone does have their own experience with the school, good or bad. But if you keep your head straight and make good choices, you will do just fine at the school. Then engineering program at this high school is amazing! The current principal is great. However, the staff in the attendance office is less than friendly and incompetent... often they are standing around chatting and get annoyed that you are there wanting them to actually do their job.

The staff does not know how to handle situations properly with students or parents, especially in the office. People with jobs involving children should know how to talk and cooperate with children but instead they are almost always against them no matter how good of records they have.

My experience at PHHS has been a good one. It's a great school . Most of the teachers have been great and willing to help you and many of the students around campus are friendly and open as well. This is my junior year and so far things have been good.

My friends who go here are sexually harassed, a girl had a hand stuck down her pants in class and no one did anything. Everyone I've met except for a select few are moronic and asinine. I would never recommend this experience to anyone.

I went to this school freshman year and half of sophomore year some teachers didn't care or try and help me they just care about money. I had a 1.0 when I left this school and now have almost a 3.5 gpa in my new school.

No school is perfect, but Henry High cares about the students. I am always greeted with kindness and respect as a parent. The academic program is excellent. I love the campus.
