"A nice and small park"
Not your typical park, but very interesting to see in person. A small strip of land with two sculptures. The Thousand Cranes Sculpture was my favorite. No paper cranes this time of year though. They must have vanished during the last Winter storm. The Sadako pole has several words of wisdom printed on its sides.
The statue is meaningful and beautiful, great public art in an otherwise not so charming intersection. Every time I run by, the colorful paper cranes just warm me up a little bit. On the other hand, a homeless person was sleeping right next to the statue as I passed by this morning, which is quite a shame.
Very cool park with the locals' full participation in p-patch type gardening. It all adds to the ambiance of sitting, relaxing and enjoying the view of the historical Seattle boat homes.
Interesting park along the University area / Lake Union cut near the Roosevelt Way University Bridge with city views, a often-decorated statue, benches and views.
A nice and small park. After walking back from Gasworks Park it is a pleasant surprise to see how the statue has been decorated.
Tiny park just north of the University bridge on the west side. Commemorating peace after the atomic bombing of Japan.
Unfortunately, there is no park, just a bench and homeless people, who may or may not be in the mood for company.
Peach Park is just great little Park to have are a relaxing moment before I continue my ride to Georgetown.
Not really a park, just a statue, but occasionally people put clothes on her, or paper cranes in her hand.
Put my shirt on that bronze and fell over with my quad and massaged my thigh on a nice rock, great space
Beautiful statue and tribute, in another blighted and disrespected city public park space...
Someone stole the brass or bronze plaque that was on the base of the statue. Lame.
Poorly maintained the city really let it go.
