Do not get your rings resized here unless you want to wait 3 weeks and receive ZERO updates on the status or when it will be returned. I brought in my ring in to be resized and was initially told that there would be a 3 week turnaround to which I immediately asked for any expediting options and the applicable fees. The associate then told me that she would put a rush on the ring to get it back faster. It's now been 2 weeks and still....nothing....I've called several times to try and get updates and I keep being told that there is a 3 week turnaround (even though it's supposed to be a RUSH). The only time I got any answers from the store was when I called head office directly and they called the store management to speak to them. I honestly just feel like the associate lied to me about putting a rush on it to get me out of the store and it's so upsetting that this company doesn't seem to care about how long you have to go without the ring and how many moments you're missing to show it off (especially in the first few weeks of an engagement when EVERYONE asks to see it). I will NEVER be returning to a People's location for any jewelry purchase! If the store had just given me answers or made me feel like they were TRYING to help me and move the process along as quickly as possible I wouldn't be so upset. I'm just tired of calling and looking for answers only to be told "3 weeks, 3 weeks, 3 weeks"

We had a horrible experience at this location. We purchased our engagement ring from Peoples in Niagara Falls - great experience. Then we went to Burlington location to get my soon to be husband his wedding band. We went in and at first very pleasant until she realized that i didn't need a wedding band for i was going to wear my mom's ring who passed away for it's sentimental to me and he wanted a black band. First she was mad i wasn't spending 1700 on a wedding band and then i asked if they could polish up my moms ring - she looked at it and said i don't think those diamonds are real and it would cost over $100 to polish. I took back my ring and was very upset by what she said - didn't care that the ring was sentimental to me. Then my soon to be husband wanted to see black bands and she said that is not a real wedding band that it needs to be gold or silver- we said NO we want a black band. She again was very rude about it!! I am suppose to get my engagement ring sized - i will NOT be going to this location for that or anything EVER !! Worst experience i have ever received. Owner of People's Jewellers you need to have a chat with your staff for they RUINED MY EXPERIENCE and i will NOT recommend this location!!!! I never give bad reviews but i was truly very upset when i left this place.

Don't waste your time; go to someone who cares about your business. edit - Down to 1 star - even head office not responding now...very disappointed, appalling customer service, utterly unacceptable behaviour. Holding final opinion in abeyance. One week overdue for notification of replacement diamond earrings. Salesman said he owned several locations and simply needed to transfer stock and would call by Tuesday. A week later and zero contact. Original earrings had a manufacturing flaw in the clasp so replacement required versus repair. Once in a lifetime treat by 80 year old for his 81 year old sweetheart. Appalled that business open all day today and telephone never picked up by staff nor went to voicemail despite numerous efforts and 40+ rings per attempt.

Ill start this by saying I have shopped at many People's Jewellery stores, but the service received here was very negative, rude, and opinionated. Sales consultants should know better than to tell someone that they cant have something just because you personally don't think it looks good. And if you're delivering bad news based on your professional knowledge that say; a certain style ring won't work or you don't have many more options in stock, try not to do it in such a stuck up way. Shopping last minute for a wedding ring is stressful enough without your negative attitude and dismissal of what I would like. After shopping at many other jewelry stores I STILL bought my wedding band at peoples(obviously not this one), and my future husbands too.

This was a huge disappointment - the staff. I had a traumatizing experience in the Burlington Mall location. The staff were completely rude and condescending, and were essentially refusing to assist me as I was "off brand". Little bit of background info: I am a plus size girl, attempting to find the ring of my dreams and I was told that I should try a "different store or vibe" upon my search at this store. It was incredulous, their behaviour towards me. I find it astounding that they were employed at all to begin with. Good luck with keeping your customers happy when all you hire are snobby, rude, and offensive people who have lack of regard for the people around them - it says a lot about you as a business.

Normally I have a really good experience but today I went to get my semi annual ring clean and inspection. Called to ask if I needed an appointment and was told no and he was very rude on the phone. No greeting or sign off. I go without an appointment told they’re not doing inspections because of covid? Which is fine but other jewellers are...? And why wasn’t I told that on the phone?? And I’m told they can’t clean it without my paper work? I didn’t bring paper work in June when I got it cleaned. And why wouldn’t the man on the phone tell me I needed my paper work. You can find really helpful people but half the staff just hates their customer service job and you can tell.

Got an engagement ring and wedding band but sadly they only offer 1 size which happened to be way too big for me. So we had to send it for resizing and were told it can take up to 4 weeks. That's ridiculous in my opinion. Shouldn't take that long to resize a ring. It's just not the best experience when you have to wait that long to get your ring back, especially considering the rings are not cheap. They should either offer more sizes or if resizing must be done then speed up that process. I've had more complex stuff done that didn't take half this long.

I was so happy with my recent gift purchase at Peoples Jewellers today. I received service that was above and beyond. After being let down by another jewellers I called the the Burlington Mall Peoples store and spoke with Prakash and explained my predicament. He was able to immediately help me find a solution. When I visited the store he was so helpful, courteous and kind. I arrived at the store pretty close to closing and this did not phase him, he was still able to help me find the perfect gift! Thank you to all the kind staff working there today.

I have spent thousands of dollars with People's. Recently I bought a necklace with my kids names on it for my wife. First things first, they messed up the spelling on my daughter's name. So I phoned the customer service department and the lady couldn't give me a straight up answer on how to get this issue resolved. She kept going on about getting a shipping label made up. If the mistake is on their end, they should make things work so that the customer is happy. I will be taking my business somewhere else. I will never recommend this company

I bought off the website and noticed in the email 2 minutes later that it would take 2-3 weeks to arrive. This is Christmas season! I called customer service it took me over 30 minutes to connect and when I finally did they said they could not cancel the order. What kind of supply chain do you have when it takes 2-3 weeks to deliver, I even paid for UPS! What kind of customer service do you have when you can't cancel an order within 40 minutes of the order when you have 2-3 weeks to do so and it has not even been picked yet. @businessfail

I was helped by Nicole, Amanda, and another lady who were very helpful and accomodating. I never quite received such a warm genuine feeling from a jewellery store before. I felt like my best interest was always number one, and they went above and beyond when they didn't have to. There was a slight miscommunication with policy, but that is mostly my own doing. I am forever a customer at People's Burlington because of my experiences with these women.

The women in this store were SO rude to me. I went to get my $700 dollar ring cleaned which I purchased from this store. I walked in and immediately was given a dirty look that made me feel as if I was not supposed to be in there. They were extremely disrespectful and did not provide good customer service what so ever. Do not recommend going in here unless you are a very wealthy looking person or else you will not be treated respectfully.

We found a ring online hoping we could find it in store but we came in without any expectations. Laura took her time to explain how the process works and she was extremely helpful throughout the process. We ended up buying the ring and peace of mind as Laura made the process very simple. We highly recommend Laura as she is very friendly, knowledgeable about her job and assisted us above and beyond.

This is my favorite store location now because, all the employees here especially Natascha Leung are all nice, approachable & really helpful. She's a good listener and she provided me honest insight about the jewelry that I want. All the staff here care about the customer's interest. Just wanted to share a great example of customer service from Cecilia at the Burlington People's Jewelers. She went out of her way to help me resolve a gift card issue I was having and resolved my problem very quickly in person after not getting anywhere with customer service on the phone. Long story short.I purchased two watches last week ,I wasn't sure about one of them and I decided to exchange it.They were really busy but still provided a superior service (I'm thinking of a gentleman that showed me many different watches till I found the one ) and a friendly attitude as well.I would highly recommend People at Burlington Mall!

Good service. friendly staff. Only complaint I have is it was my first time buying a nice watch and the one I chose I was told it was 10K gold plated and diamonds in the face, but after looking up the watch,none of that was true. Overall I had good service except for the misleading.
