Sjo! The food is always my favourite! I always describe Peppa Jack's as a "homey" Mexican taste. It's gives a warm a fuzzy feeling in your heart and taste like food your grandma will make. Food made with lots of love and effort. Not just your typical "throw some salad and peppers in a taco" no! This tastes like warm, slow cooked beef and home made guacamole. It makes your heart and stomach feel full! I highly recommend the pork chimmichangas with the Chipotle mayo sauce. I always order those with a main meal for the table to snack on! The staff is probably the friendliest staff in the whole of Capetown. These are normal people who make conversations and really care and chat lekker. Peppa Jacks is a place close to my heart! Sometimes the service is VERY quick and sometimes a little bit slow, but you don't notice it because the vibes are always lekker! Must try this hidden gem!

From the moment we arrived until we left, the service was impeccable. Whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted it, there was always somebody willing to help without being intrusive. And despite loadshedding the food service was equally quick and super tasty. Pulled pork is my default favourite but not everybody can make it nice, usually end up dry and tasteless. This chef however knows his stuff; juicy and full of flavour, you want to order another portion even though you don’t have room. Speaking of which, price to portion ratio is spot on, you actually can afford to have dessert afterwards as well. My only ‘criticism’ is that they are a little out of the way, I didn’t previously know about them, but that is the definition of a hidden gem I suppose.

They were fully booked for Mother's day but they went out of there way to set up some tables outside next to the childrens play area. The waiter dis not even write down our orders, he was so good at remembering everything! His service was excellent and not to mention the food! Anything with the meat option looked at tasted amazing! Their portions are very generous. I will most definitely be back soon. Oh and the Margaritas are great - lots of Tequila in.

They have a jungle gym on the side of the restaurant. Not fully enclosed so I will not recommend for kids under 5 years if you are not sitting outside to watch them.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with a bar manager who served us drinks and took our food order. However, the encounter quickly turned sour as he proceeded to belittle my friend, mocking her knowledge about the difference between a burrito and quesadillas. His condescending jokes were not only uncalled for but also incredibly rude. The incident left my friends and me shocked and appalled. The bar manager's behavior was completely unacceptable, and it was especially distressing to see my friend in tears due to his actions. I strongly urge the establishment to address this issue and ensure that such disrespectful behaviour is never repeated. The bar manager had long hair tied up in a bun. And was apparently helping out the day we were there 10/11/2022 Friday.

So so so happy with our experience here today. We just wanted to stop for a quick milkshake and ended up having lunch. Herman had us seated within seconds of us arriving at the restaurant. The food was amazing. The service was outstanding and Candice who looked after the kids was kind and so patient. We noticed that none of the waiters were standing around waiting to be asked to do something. As soon as staff saw things needing to be done, they were on it. The restaurant was clean and well presented.. Our waiter (Trent) was extremely attentitive and made sure we always had what we wanted. The food also arrived quickly. A place I will definitely recommend. Generous portion sizes and well priced.

Decent mexican menu with some other options available as well. The service was very good and the food was worth the price in terms of quality and quantity. Could possibly pack a bit more flavour into the proteins in my opinion. Overall a pleasant experience.

I've come here consistently a few times and always have the best service, even when we've been large tables with many requests. The food is delicious and very generous servings as well. Everything is great, but I recommend their cocktails, tequila, quesadillas, chimichangas and nachos. All of the different cocktails I've tried have also all been delicious. Great atmosphere here as well!

Wonderful. Staff is very friendly and quick with your orders. You can dine outside and inside. Beautiful views and live music. Also if there is load-shedding you can still eat as they are prepared. Food is delicious and filling. Many different choices except pizza. Food came within 5 to 10 minutes of ordering. Food Is favorable and quite a lot.

The food was really below average - we have croquettes, Nachos and some other snacks. The service from the waiter was good. We sat outside next to the play area, a dog came into the area, and its business right there next to one of the tables. Maybe a good spot for a quick beer, but won't take my family there again.

A very nice place, even for a date night. The food was great, I just would have liked the taco size to be a bit bigger. The service was great and overall efficient. The food had some nice flavours, and was freshly made. The last little issue was with the margarita jug where the alcohol was barely tasted. It was nicely done. I think it could either a really fun night out with light food and loads of drinks, or as a venue on a date like it was for me. I would definitely go there again.

I absolutely loved my first visit to Peppa Jacks! We were served by Ruben who was such a vibe! He delivered excellent service and gave great advice on what foods to try and boy was he right. Peppa Jacks really delivered excellent food at affordable rates with reasonably sized portions. We really loved the fact that we could sit outside right the the play area! This is an 11 out of 10 from me . We will definitely be back!

Came here cause I couldn’t believe there was a Mexican restaurant in South Africa. Well I’m glad I came. The setting is great. Though they put a South African twist on the food. Was as close as you can get/. Service was great Thank you Tayla for the wonderful greeting and service. Had the jalapeño poppers for appetizer and the steak fajitas for main. All I can say is WOW. The view of the Durbanville Hills wine area is amazing. Will definitely be back.

I paid R109 for tacos that were barely tacos. They were cold, gross and tiny. The food, overall, is not to taste. Bland, watery (not juicy) and soggy. We ordered chilli beef and received absolutely no chilli beef whatsoever. Majorly overpriced as well. Spend your money at a nice place instead!

Ventured out to this spot on a very hot day. Lots of people and lots of flies. Resulting in slow service and a rather underwhelming experience. Food is decently priced albeit a bit confused. I ordered a Fajita and found red cabbage in it -
