First of all, parking is insanely priced in SF. This place is close to many great places to eat, see, and visit. The lot was big and we were able to fit our RV in with no problems. Price is $3 every 15 minutes. Yes. Every 15 minutes. $12 an hour. Up to $45 max charge per day. Ok. I know what you're thinking... $45 bucks for all day... HELL NO... Well, we started driving around the busy, narrow, steep, hills of SF to eat at a restaurant a couple miles away... BIG MISTAKE. If you're an RV, even a small RV like we are, SF is nutty for driving, maneuvering, and especially parking. We drove in circles for an hour. Exhausted and frustrated, we gave up, wanted to get out of there, then drove 35 minutes out to the Hilton next to the airport to stay the night. We then find out it cost $17.60 round trip per person and an hour ride (each way) on BART to where we wanted to go in SF, the next day. $35.20 ($17.60 x 2 of us) + 2 hours (round trip) wasted on BART, makes the $45 all day parking right in the heart of where we wanted to be, with in walking distance to where we want to go, having our 'home' with us seem like a good deal. Damn. Never thought I'd say $45 for parking is a good deal. Only after doing all the retarded driving, crappy bumpy roads in and out of the congested parts of SF, then driving 35 minutes out to SFO Hilton; did that $45 start to seem appealing. RVs only: Another thing I was thinking would be a good place to park (if we didn't drive the opposite direction), was parking at Vista Point for FREE, then walking over the Golden Gate Bridge to the SF side then uber or lyft in, but that's only if RVers are ok with leaving their RV unattended in a 'supposedly' a high crime area. My husband wasn't too keen on that idea. But that could make it cheaper for some considering hanging out in SF for the day. Not my favorite parking spot but a lot more convenient than some parking spots in SF. If you're a car, there's many more options and cheaper options for parking in SF, but if you're an RV and planning on spending a considerable amount of time there, this might be a decent option.
This place is a scam. They sell more tickets then there are spaces. Then they force you to pay $3 just leave to find parking elsewhere.
