I have been shopping at the Decatur and Charleston location for at least twenty years. I've always liked this store. Everybody has always been very helpful and polite. The grooming has also been top notch for all my animals Today, I had an exceptional experience. I have been dealing with a tic issue which has been very frustrating. I never had tics on my pets. I was under the impression that we don't have tics in Las Vegas. Well, we do, and they are very difficult to get rid of. This is my second attempt buying products to kill and prevent tics from coming back to the home and on the animals. I have 6 fur babies, so this is getting very expensive. Qiara did everything in her power to try to reduce my cost with different coupons. She spent a considerable amount of time with me trying to get the right product at the right price so I can get a decent discount. This was a life saver for me. I am extremely grateful to Qiara for helping me. She went above and beyond helping me save money. She was polite, patient and super friendly! Her customer service skills were over the top ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Thank Qiara you you made my day !!

I was skeptical about going to this location for petsmart grooming service, but I wanted to try a different place for our dogs hair cuts. Well the staff were friendly and was easy to book an appointment but day of our appointment we did not receive a call that our baby was ready. They told us they called us but I never had a missed call or received a call. With that being said I asked how long our pup was waiting and was told about 1½. Of course I'm furious about it, I would have expected more attempts on calling me. I'd never want my pup waiting on me that long. To top it off his haircut was something I could have done. His tail still had very long hair like when we first took him in. Also long hair on the ears and top of head. Not blended in with his body. They asked if we wanted his ears trimmed but that was never done. Almost 70 dollars for something that another grooming place can do for 50 dollars and look better.

Really big store, they have a really decent priority on everything there are certain things that are at a discount price, really good discounts check that section just in case that you need something from there (purchased a slow feeding bowl I was looking for that cost ±$17and I purchase it here for $4.87. Really helpful employees, nice and courteous (only one lady wasn't, but naaa, she didn't ruined my experience at the store). A pity I found this place one day before heading home. Need to go to.the states again, and I'm checking their locations, hopefully I will.find one in NY and close to New Orleans were I need to go. They have several locations in TX, CA, FL. Please check them, you won't regret it!!

This store hardly had anything out on the shelves. One of the workers asked me on the food isle what I was looking for and I told him the blue buffalo basic 3 ingredient recipe. He looked confused and pointed at the isle and proceeded to mansplain yo me that all those were blue buffalo and I could pick any of them the one I wanted was not there but across and I just grabbed it. It has a very distinctive bag. Why are you gonna offer me help when ypu don't even know your product.. also he ended up charging me at the register and told me I couldn't use my treat rewards on the same day like.... you think it's my first time shopping here sir? It was really irritating

I went into the store looking for fish to add to my plant aquarium. I had already done my research but asked questions for a second opinion on what I had learned.... Dion was very knowledgeable and said exactly the same thing as I had read. He definitely does his research and takes what he does seriously. He knew a lot about the various fish & I can tell, by the conversations on his walkie/radio, the others that worked in the store went to him for their questions too. Dion was friendly, professional, and welcoming. I'll definitely bring the family back by when we're ready to add more fish to our collection.

Was there today felt very disrespected. I walk in employees just look at me ,no greeting nothing I proceed to greet them myself because that's how I am‍♀️I find the things I need ,and see some fish I want long story short the employee at the fish department did not acknowledge me! At this point I'm ready to go so I just want to check outGet to checkout line I get stopped and told to wait for someone who is apparently not ready to checkout.I then ask what's going on with their customer service and was verbally assaulted as if I was wrong.I highly don't recommend this specific store.

Pet Smarts is just Pet pricey it has a few Items that are resonable But the place is very exspensive and a lot of there Items you would think are made of platinum I prefer the internet to Pet Smarts I took my little Morkie there for nail grinding only. it was $15.00 not to bad but I have gotten her nails grinded for far less other places. But the 50% off items there were super cute and I got a few for my fur Baby all in all if you're financially frugal like myself this is not the place for you when seeking Bargain's in these trying times. Just became a dog mom! Went to pet smart not knowing about what food would be best for my pooch or what I really needed without buying unnecessary stuff! Even though it's clean and well organized I was lost the staff there is awesome! Especially Brandon, he was fairly new but answered most my questions and what he didn't know he found out for me. He was attentive, helpful and flushed red because I had the poor guy all over store he even helped me get it all to my car! The entire time with a smile Brandon was just pleasant.

When I go to this PetSmart it is always clean and I always can find a team member if I need anything. My last visit I needed help and was able to get help and get the item I needed. I never have any issues checking out or finding anything and if they don't have the item they always offer up other suggestions to help me find the item(s). All their pets in store are healthy and taken care of. We have bought some pets from there and never had any issues (unlike some other stores). Highly recommended!

The staff are very friendly, but I am unable to find basic things for this type of store. Or, it simply isn't there. Like a fish tank without a full setup,(if you already have a light, air pump, filter, do you wanna pay a mark-up off at least twice what it costs separately, or do you expect them to have a 40- 50 gallon long tank? The layout of the store in general is discombobulated and you can't find what you want. Nice folks, though.

I went in and saw the store. It was clean, it was nice, it was organized, I think it's a good store. They sell fish there. They sell food for reptiles and they also have hamsters and mice there. I like the store and recommend people to go there if they want a clean and nice environment. It's a really good store. They usually have a lot of things in stock, so worring that there won't be an item that you need isn't really a problem.

I really love this store and the only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is because of their prices being higher than online sites. I enjoy being able to browse, to see certain merchandise before i purchase it, and to check the specials and bargains. The staff are knowledgeable in the products they carry and never pressure me, they simply make suggestions when asked. It's a clean and friendly atmosphere as well.

They always have what you need & more!! As a former Child advocate in LA school system & youth representative I witnessed on a couple of occasions were to my knowledge one of the worker was treated with unwarranted badgering from other workers because of his errors or non traditional ways of closing an customer out. My bottom line was & is MANAGEMENT error for not giving properly TRAINING to all employees.

I regularly visit this PetSmart since moving to my new home. The visits have all been pleasant. The staff are welcoming and always very helpful when I'm looking for something new. I've seen them greet customers by name and ask about their pets by name. I get the impression that the staff at this location really truely care about their customers. It makes shopping there both effective and a joy.

Nice, pleasant, my doggie enjoyed going in. Store is always the same, which is great...I can readily find items quickly, and gives me time to look around...I generally will buy that special cookie treat. I did notice some grooming items a bit pricey...it kinda goes expensive to cheap, and missing the in between value. Just a thought. Always enjoy our visit! And, great friendly staff.

I like Petsmart because they sell hamsters and I love hamsters. I enjoy coming to see what they have in varieties of small animals, but not birds and fish, but rather mostly hamsters.. They have plenty of hamster stuff, but you're better off going to Walmart for the essentials, like food & bedding, I like bringing home a Timothy hay treat for my little hamster at home sometimes.

Brought my friends dog here at 11am for grooming. He needed a fur trim and bath. We call to check on him to see if he was almost done. Nope. They didn't even start on him till we called them. We have a paratransit to pick us up at 3:15pm. So the only thing they did was give him a bath. I'm very disappointed about that because he been there since 11am and all he had was a bath.

We visited this location near our house because we were buying a fish for our kids..I only had a problem with the employees who were making a huge deal because my 2 year old couldn’t keep his face mask on. The employee who told us was very nice about it, I just didn’t like the other employee who does not understand how hard it is for a 2 year old to keep a face mask on.

Great customer service and stocked inventory. That is all but the live animals! Only had a single mouse but my visit was the day after Xmas and they don't usually have many pets for sale at this time due to the amount of time the store is closed for Xmas Eve and day. Thankfully they just don't have them in stock they could have them and leave them all alone for 2 days.

Worst shopping experience. Long wait time and had a staff helping another customer walk right in front me as if not shopping and stand in front of me like I’m not shopping. When I say something something it’s I’m sorry. I’m sorry you didn’t get this money lol Never shopping here again and dog training couldn’t even follow through but took my money though. Thank you

Good staff and the grooming is pretty good. They frequently forget to clip my dogs dew claws and if I forget to check them, I have to return to get them done. They have also clipped his eyelashes and thats a bummer because he has big doe eyes with his long lashes. But i get it, he probably wiggles a lot. Overall I am very pleased and always take my dogs here

I was having some fish issues and Dion was so pleasant and informative. He was also very professional and helped everywhere he could. He is a definite asset to the company and one of the main reasons I visit this Petsmart. I have only had good experiences here. Thanks Dion for being the best and most caring employee I know. Wish every company had a Dion.

Nice staff and very cute animals. Usually seems pretty clean. I didn't pet the cats for adoption because they were cleaning. Theres a cute one eating in the bowl (just like me) and another running getting excersize (everyone else)

I honestly don't know what happened at this store. But I thought they were doing a remodel. Dead fish, no animals in stock. All dark. Boxes everywhere. I've been bringing my dog for grooming here for about a year now and I'm always satisfied! Christina does an amazing job and my pup always smells great after her bath! The price is reasonable, comes out to about $40 for a bath with a nail trim. As for the store, the staff is always friendly and always welcomes you when you walk inside.

This place went from 4 start to no Stars I don't know what was wrong with a bag of science diet I purchased 2 weeks ago I started feeding it to my frenchies and look what is happening to my lil Graham this is beyond horrible I went today I told them oh poor thing but failed to even make any attempt beyond oh poor guy lil guy

The people who work here do their very best to be accommodating and helpful with your pet store shopping experience.. friendly faces and animal lovers.. usually have what you're looking for in stock + communicate with each other via two way radios for a more personal approach to your location and needs within the store!

We were house hunting from Los Angeles and needed a few things to take home for our pets, so we decided to stop in. The store was nice and clean. Employees were helpful and knowledgeable of the products in the store. Store was very well stocked. I will definitely visit this store again next time we we are in Las Vegas.

Employee was not at all helpful about the dead worms I had just purchased for my Dragon. Said he would get me 10% off $10 "so that would be 50 cents"...versus swapping the 2 dead for 2 alive worms from another container. This is exactly why we will only be shopping online and at specialty stores for our pets.

Lots of dog stuff and people brought their dogs in with them. I'm a catlady so I went to cat section but was surprised to find only 2 rows of food and 1 of litter no toys I found. They has litter boxes & a bunch of dog beds you could use for cats. Not really very much for cat parents which really shocked me.

I went into the store to buy my stepdaughter a hamster and I did not know anything about how to handle or maintain or take care of any hamster. They were very helpful and detailed in how to maintain and take care of and what I would need for the hamster to be happy in his new home.

I've been shopping at this store for years - very clean, organized and well stocked. The staff - always friendly and helpful (its nice seeing the same people, not the high turnover like I see at most retailers). I've never had a bad or questionable experience at this location.

Crystal and Phillip were very helpful today with my purchase of food for my 7 year old English bulldog and kitten food for my kitten who just got neutered today. They both were very knowledgeable and patient with me today. I appreciate being treated like a loyal pet parent.

Every time I go here, I see people's pets. So I brought my kitten and she just loved it. So many fish, her eyes were rolling. Beautiful birds. But her favorite thing was the cat food Isle. I'm so glad they sell Applause Brand cat food here. It's all my cats will eat.

Nice, friendly people but not happy with prices ringing up higher at register than what is shown on the shelves!! Plus the cash registers don't show the prices clearly as you check out. Not worth the hassle!! Also prices too high for cheap toys made in China.

So annoyed I told the lady to cut one inch off my dogs hair. I even showed her what one inch was . When i came to pick up my dog he was shaved. I told them cut not shave. She explain they used one inch guards just like i asked. I said cut one inch not shave.

Love their policy on fish, you can return the dead one if need arises within a month...twice this month I found that necessary and it was pretty handy. Just make sure you type in your phone number so even if you don't have your receipt no biggie.

It was an okay visit. Was there with a friend that was buying a 150 gal fish aquarium. It being glass and heavy one would think thay would have something to handle it! But no, the customers have to carry their own heavy item! Not cool.

Huge space and decent selection, but expect to only find the big name brands (no higher-end healthy dog food choices like Orijen or Arcana) and the wait time for the register lines can be sporadically long so just plan for that.
