** The option of no stars would be selected, provided I had the option to do so.** Hi, so I recently placed an order yesterday to be delivered today (Valentines day) to have flowers delivered as I live out of town. I had made a note requesting a later delivery if at all possible and followed up with an e-mail to ensure it could be accomodated. I was told that it could not be guaranteed, but an attempt would be made and if not, a rescheduled delivery would have to be placed. The first delivery was unsuccessful of course and upon calling the company, a gentleman (who was doing the deliveries) answered abruptly. The man had absolutely no manners and took no time to place the blame on the customer (indicating that no note was provided, instructions were not given). Furthermore, he continued to sigh and make a huge deal about having to return back (as he had 11 other deliveries) and even went to accuse me that a false address was provided! He began to even raise his voice. This man had no sense of customer service and a terrible attitude. Needless to say, this will be the first and LAST time I ever give this company my business. Let me reiterate, you are in the business of flower delivery and customer service, to an extent. Do not treat customers like less than human beings when simple instructions cannot be followed. Furthermore, investigate your staff as service like this is unacceptable and needs be addressed and handled accordingly. This had to be the worst experience I have ever had with ANY sort of delivery service.

My experience with Angie and her business exceeded all expectations. Words can't express how phenomenally committed Angie is to customer service. I live out of town and when a family member passed away in Edmonton, I wanted to send flowers for the funeral, which was on a Sunday. The website expressly stated that they don't deliver on Sundays, so I booked it for a Saturday delivery, to my mother-in-law's home. Within minutes, Angie called me and asked for details as she found it odd that funeral flowers were being delivered to a residence. When she learned that the funeral would be on a Sunday, she volunteered to open her business on Sunday and personally drive the flowers over to the funeral home to ensure that the flowers would be fresh and beautiful. She also declined my offer to pay her extra. To top it all off, the flowers were tasteful, fresh and well done. Thank you, Angie to you and your team for going the extra mile for our family during a difficult time. You will always have our business.

I don't like to complain, but 3 strikes ... Sad, truly for what I was hoping would be not only a good experience, but possibly even a repeat experience. It is my preference to give business to local establishments which is why I went with this company not a large tried and trusted national/international company. 1) Even though I was sent an email stating my order had been delivered, it had not. 2) After calling direct to sort it out, the order was sent to the wrong address. Even though they had both the original written order and the phone call with verbal confirmation of the correct address. 3) When it did finally arrive - with help from the recipient - it wasn't at all what was ordered. Very disappointing indeed. They do get a stars for being pleasant on the phone and offering to send a box of chocolates with the flowers for the first mix up. There were so many good reviews for this company. sigh. Please, save yourself the grief and do not order flowers for delivery through Petals On The Trail.

Bad delivery service The flower shop on its own is great. Very friendly and will answer all your questions. Great selection I especially like the “won’t break your budget options” The delivery service on the other hand. I had messaged the flower shop to confirm and they reassured they would be delivered today.(January 24th) That they use a 3rd party delivery team and that they left at noon and they will be delivered soon. This being said I got a call at 3pm from Edmonton (I’m in Calgary) and I called it back moments later assuming it was the delivery team. I called back 5 times but no answer. The flower shop closed at 4 and still no flowers were delivered. At about 8pm a Neighbour about 4 houses down brought the flowers over and said these arrived and obviously were not for them. This is a great flower shop really sucks their delivery team drags them down. Definitely recommend petals on the trail. But not for delivery

Buyer beware! Bait and switch! My wife and I ordered 2 Teleflora arrangements and BOTH arrangements: were not even close to resembling their online photos; did not include those flowers listed in their descriptions; were shorted on the quality AND quantity of flowers that each arrangement was supposed to contain (therefore I was overcharged); were full of ugly greenery in lieu of the requisite number of flowers shown in online photos; and were in cheap plastic vases, not glass as stated in the product descriptions. The owner's reply to our complaint: 'Our substitution policy states that there is no guarantee you will get what you ordered.' No apology, no redress. We will never do business with them again and strongly suggest that others heed our warning and take their business elsewhere.

Highly recommend ordering from here if you want great flowers and amazing costumer service! I ordered my mom an arrangement for her birthday, but unfortunately due to the cold weather we are having they didn’t look as healthy the next day. When we called about it, the lady she spoke with told her she can pick any flower to get them replaced and was very kind about it! They also dropped them off for her in a beautiful vase! Plus they make sure your orders are made the exact time you ask for. I originally made my order the night before and they still managed to have them delivered early the next morning :) Definitely will continue to order my arrangements through Petals on the trail for all my occasions!

I ordered flowers for a friend who has been battling ALS and wanted to incorporate the corn flower (the national flower for ALS). I was told at the time of order that they were out of season but the associate said she would try and get a silk one which I was totally fine with. I gave her a budget and said I wanted it to be bright and fun. A few days later I went for the pick up and I was blown away! She had actually made some phone calls and found corn flowers in Holland, which she flew in and added to my bouquet for no extra cost! I would order from them again in a heartbeat, thank you again!!

My husband bought me a bouquet for my birthday and the flowers didn't make it till almost 5pm. I was very upset because I was waiting for the most important gift the whole day and they didn't deliver till 4:45 pm. The flowers were very sad and hot. It seemed they were in a hot car the whole day, so he spent 120 dollars for a late delivery and when I received them they were all damaged for the heat. This was very disappointing for me, and for my husband, so I don't recommend Petals on the Trail flower services to anyone.

I'll definitely be doing all of my flower shopping here from now on. Excellent customer service and the flowers my wife received are beautiful. Love supporting a local business that takes pride in what they do and puts customers first. After having gone through several different flower shops throughout the city, this is the best experience I've had. Highly recommend and I will be passing that along to anyone I know looking for flowers in the future. Thanks for everything!

Wow!!!! My wedding flowers were above and beyond beautiful!!! I had no idea what I wanted I booked an appointment with Angela and I just told her the colours I was looking for and she made magic happen! I have lost some very important people in my life and so she incorporated my treasure momentous into my bouquet! She supplied flowers for my cake as well. Everything she made was unique and gorgeous ♥️♥️♥️ I am so happy and Angela is just lovely

I came in with no idea or knowledge on what design and flower I wanted for a corsage and boutonniere for my graduation. Angie instantly told me what types of flowers would hold up best which would also compliment my dates dress. The day I picked them both up it was quick and easy. My girlfriend and I were incredibly pleased with the turnout, they were absolutely beautiful. I cannot praise this place enough, highly recommend it. Thank you Angie!

What can I say except Angie is amazing! She helped me design all my wedding florals and kept me in budget. She called me keeping me up to date with any flowers she couldn't get and had 5 other options to help me out. She made my flowers turn out even more beautiful then I had ever imagined! Fantastic little shop, with a great variety of items including flowers, trinkets, home decor, and more. Angie is an absolute treat with a fantastic sense of humor, very personable and likeable. Was a big help, and very patient when assisting me. So glad I stopped here to make a purchase. The only problem is the location, as you have to drive all the way around the block to the rear entrance to park.

After checking many floral shop websites, we have decided to order the free spirit garden arrangement for a family member’s funeral mass. We all loved the fresh colourful flowers in a whimsical basket instead of the typical solemn looking pale coloured flowers in an urn… It was a true representation of the dear person we so loved and have lost! Flowers were nice, but they weren't delivered on the right day. The vase portion was cardboard and soaked through to the point it was unusable upon delivery. Gave 2 stars originally, but have upped it to 4 stars based on the customer service received after the incorrect delivery. They phoned me to apologize and offer a full refund. They were apologetic and professional.

We have been buying flowers from Angie for years now and she has always been quick, concise and her bouquets have always been beautiful. Cute little flower shop with a beautiful selection of fresh flowers available. Owner was lovely and whipped up a gorgeous bouquet in just a couple of minutes. There's a good selection of gift items available as well, and all from local makers. Parking is at the back of the building, and there's clear signage in the alley to locate Petals.
